Love this. I really enjoyed the other Underdark zones, so I'd love to see what a revitalized Gauntlgrym would look like. I feel you on the desire to see LMoP brought to life. I honestly think it would make a terrific leveling experience, allowing the higher stakes Neverwinter city stuff to be campaigns/adventures at maximum level.
That's actually a cool piece of lore, I never knew where the name neverwinter came from. They call Neverwinter, 'never' winter, because the lava from mount hotenow keeps the city from ever getting cold.
I'm not sure about the introduction of flying mounts, I remember a dev stream while back when they said that the infrastructure of consoles were to inferior to enable such mechanics. Plus, the current map layout for open world zones aren't created with flying in mind. However, games like FF14 already has had flying mounts for years. I'm not gonna hold my breath w on it.
I keep hearing you saying "Gaunt Le Grimm" ... like some spanish bandit. I am sure it was meant to be spoken like a Nordic word, like Svartalfr, Asgard or Gandalfrr (one of the dwarves mentioned in the poetic Adda) - so Gaun(t)-tel-grim", not Gaunt-Le-Grim. Very sure I heard NPCs say Gaunt-tel-grim back when I played it. Been playing since the Beta.
