How can you complain about the wait list of a product when you DON'T PAY FOR IT. It is already a great thing that you have the possibility to use it for free.
This is so stupid. No shit there’s a long wait, because all of the free users (most of them) are trying to do the same thing you are. The only true downside I’ve heard is if you’re running multiplayer game sometimes you get latency issues, f.e. BF 2042 on the 128 player matches. Which makes sense but that doesn’t mean it’s not a downside.
It would take around 15 years paying for the Ultimate package for GeForce Now if you wanted the Ultimate specs in a high end Pc. No need to worry about storage or updates, no need to worry about components failing on you or wasting money on upgrading. It’s a no brainer with GeForce Now. Won’t ever go back to Pc or consoles anytime soon.
Yes but, there are many issues with GeForce NOW, for example sometimes steam cloud saves fail to sync and you loose everything and it is highly reliant on Internet connection
@@JustAnotherVirtualGamer Been using GeForce Now for many years now. Never had any save issues. Maybe that depends on where you live? In 2024, you’d think most people would have a good internet connection by now to use it. You can just use your phones data if you wanted to. I’m lucky to have 5G where I live. So home internet not even needed if I wanted to play on my IPad or Phone.
When people stop getting gaming rigs and just cheap PC's and only do cloud gaming. You will lose most local games because everyone will jump on the wagon. Then it will go the way of video streaming. Price hikes, separation into multiple companies so more subs you gotta pay for, and adding ads. Logitech even working on a subscription based mouse right now. It's definitely headed towards you won't own anything and will be happy. Scary.
Nah guys go for the ultimate it’s only 20 dollars. My pc is waiting on it’s upgrade and this had been a really good alternative for me. The graphics and resolution for just streaming are insane. Been playing palworld, forza, ready or not, Sons of forest. No issues no waiting list. Just straight gaming
How much better is the streaming resolution / graphics than the free tier? My pc broke so I have been using the free tier and it works fine but the resolution is so blurry even though my wifi is fine.
@@brettxieverything is improved and is as smooth as butter but you need good internet I been using it for a year now free version feels like there's a delay while ultimate has no delay (for me)
@@e1zr I wish you replied sooner lol, I ended up buying the mid tier one which only works good when my wifi isn’t being used by the whole house which it always is so I bought it used it twice and gave up
You can turn your mobile phone or cheap computer into a high end gaming pc and to me that's worth the $20/month. The only downside of GeForce Now is it depends entirely on your internet connection and even then you have options. You can game all the way up to 4k 120fps but the higher your resolution and bitrate the faster your internet is going to need to be. You might be ok at 1440p which i believe you need the ultimate tier for that, or maybe your internet will only be good for 1080p in witch case your best option if you want to save money and resolution is not of a primary concern for you would be to just go with priority tier which is like half the price of ultimate. However if you have to settle for something like 720p or can't even handle that due to internet connection and location. You should just save a little and get yourself a console. I want to add that your internet connection will also effect latency and well that's obviously a big deal for most. Head to the GeForce Now on mobile or pc and click on "Test Network under settings" and you will get a rough estimate on how well your experience will be. If you just do not have good internet or in a really bad location. The test will tell you that your connection is not recommended.
@@FlockersDesign I have great quality. Actually it's so good I often forget I'm even streaming. 5G connection is what's recommended. Do a network test inGeForce Now and see where you stand.
@@JustAnotherVirtualGamer acctually i just change the region for anything thats close to me to see witch has a short rig wait and use that (change it from settings)
Geforce Now is fantastic only cons being limited game library and little to no mod support. The pluses heavily out way these cons, 10 years of paying the ultimate tier $20 per month still puts you bellow what it would cost you to build a PC of similar power and that's not even mentioning the no extra cost hardware upgrades you'll get throughout those years, its good trust just make sure you have good internet or at least decent with a ethernet cable like me
