As someone who's born in betwwen Gen Z and Millennials, this video brings encouragement that there's always hope to connect with people, and that we have to learn that we should bridge the gaps between generations.
I was bothered because several of my daughter's classmates have come to us since grade 9, sharing their family problems and mentioning suicidal tendencies. That's why I salute our campus missionaries for working so hard to reach the youth and help correct their mental and emotional well-being. I hope we can create more videos like this to spread awareness to all the youth.
I really loved this topic Ate Joyce 😇 We tackled about this on our sunday school and true enough that most of the youths experience this. 😢 One of the things why we experience this is because we are in the last days and people will love only themselves. We are focused on building our own lives that’s why we are somehow tired of fostering friendship that causes us to disconnect from them and lead us to be anxious and depressed.

This resonates as well to the recent Paris Olympics 2024 Opening Ceremony stirred controversy with its troubling presentations, including symbols associated with idolatry and references from the book of Revelation. This dark imagery reflects a disturbing trend, even as it was eventually taken down by the organizers. It’s alarming how these ancient shadows are creeping into modern times, especially in a country like ours, where the majority are Christians. Our own Filipino Olympic Gold Medalist, Carlos Edriel Yulo, has also faced controversy, displaying different values towards his estranged family. This shows how the normalization of questionable values is affecting the new generation. Let us pray fervently for our youth, who are increasingly vulnerable to the influence of this fallen world. May the Precious Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ cover and redeem our youth and His people. God bless the Philippines and our nation.
We need more of this. Very inspiring and encouraging. If you have questions and confusions in life, the Bible has all the answers for it because the scripture is God breathed.

Praise God I'm 26 and I'm handling two Gen Z's today, and there are times na I feel disconnected, ineffective, undervalued and tired of being an Ate for them. Thanks for sharing this po! I super relate to this as part of generation X, pero just a question, how do we bridge the gap between our previous generation? I also want to learn from them because of their wisdom and experiences but it gets super intimdating as we grew up with the culture na wag makisabat sa usapan ng matatanda. Kami ba dapat mag-reach out sa kanila or sila ang mag-reach out samin?
I think it work both ways. It's best to always take the initiative with proper timing at the same time to respond in grace and anticipation when someone does initiate. :)

Sbi KC even in the judgement day kht mgrepent Ka pa it wouldn't have any bearing KC alam na nya if SA heaven or hell Ka. So Yung judgment day BA para ipamuka sayo Kung gano Ka Ka-sinner and humiliate you.
For someone who is a shade of you, kailan magiging Tama na authority ang magtaray o umangil kung nanghuhula lang din Naman nang gagawin. Seasoned manager ba? Asking doesn't mean I don't know. Sadly it’s NOT just Gen Z but all of us is of this world…..bec. 0:03 of SIN. We’re living in a borrowed time, it’s NOW that we all be intimate with the God of the Bible coz only HIM can change our hearts to OBEY His commandments.
it is because People are sinful in nature be it what generation they are, sorry but I don't agree segragating generations in terms of being a Christian because all generation are in sin. So what is the problem? because topics like this does not help the ore important is TALK ABOUT JESUS CHRIST. what good can you het out from topics like this? bridging whatever does not help, Theology matters a lot for all generations. Talk about Jesus Crist instead that we all have a hope.
