@@SJones-kk5lg I took a pay cut taking this job as it was a “Once in a lifetime opportunity.” I have 2 years of living expenses saved up and investment accounts to use as a last resort if I need it. I also get job offers weekly almost. I also have all of my housing and basic living expenses already paid for each month, so although a recession does worry me, I’ve built me somewhat of a plan B.
I quit a few days ago too. I won't say God told me to quit, but after working there over a year I started to become VIOLENTLY ill at the thought of clocking in, being gaslighted & slandered, and mistreated by my Supervisor who made sure to repeatedly tell me she was a Unbeliever. Mind you, I never had any fight or was ever disrespectful. She often bragged on my work & work ethic (Irony 🙄). She didn't like me and persecuted me bc her demons hated the Holy Spirit inside of me. Finally last week, I was again so sick and hating the thought of clocking in and I heard in my Spirit "Would you continue to go home to an Abusive relationship or situation?". 😳... Shocked, I thought to myself "No". I would NEVER allow a Romantic partner, Friend, or Family member to treat me the way I was on that job. I literally just decided to not clock back in from Lunch. I'm trusting God for better and have 2 job interviews next week. God is Faithful. I trust Him with my Life and Employment. He's never let me down and always supplies every need. God bless 🙏🏽
You said something that made me think… I had a dream in July 2022. I was in a really large hotel and there many food vendors all Muslims and they refused to serve me food I even said but I have cash but the all refused to serve me. In the dream this was revealed to me: they knew spiritually that I was getting a closer relationship with God than before and because of that the devil in them treated me harshly… but in the dream I knew this and they did not know I knew. Dream ends>>> fast forward to July 2023, I was looking through a book that I write my dreams in and said let me see what this dream was about and my God I feel like that’s so true with what I’m experiencing today at my job! Four weeks ago I said Lord I just want a closer relationship with you based on James 4:8 so I’ve been pursing this and this new person to my area has made it so difficult for only me. I’m so glad God had me remember this dream from last year and seeing your post gave even more confirmation. I’m so over this job been there over two decades and the newer people are turning it upside down! I’m getting out the boat like Peter and trust Jesus on a whole different level. Blessings

@@Failureisnotanoptionever The old adage, "Be careful what you wish (pray) for..." is very true. If we pray for Strength, Endurance, to be more kind, etc. God will not simply download these things like Software. Instead, we will be given situations, tests, people, circumstances who will lead us to become all we prayed for. However, this is nothing to fear bc those of us in Christ know that it is The Holy Spirit leading us to pray these things and grow us up to be MATURE Christians.

when i worked at my hospital job, i think God knew it wasn’t fulfilling me. i was always told i was good at my job, never got complaints but didn’t quit because we needed the money so God made it where i got fired. i was upset initially but a HUGE WEIGHT was lifted and i believe that was God. i just have to trust what he has in store for me, he KNOWS and the devil will try to keep those things from happening but i need to have faith in our Father and trust him and surrender to his timing. 🙏🏽
The Lord has been putting it on my spirit to quit my job for the past 2 years. Today i finally turned in my letter of resignation. I have been feeling spiritually stagnant and also backsliding in the past 2-3 years and im ready to give my full attention and sumbission to Christ. The job i had required too much of my time or should i say "God's time". Im ready to start anew and take this journey to where God wants me to be.
Wow! I submitted my resignation letter on Monday after 13 years of being with this company. I come on RU-vid and this is in my suggested videos #confirmation! I am a happy and positive person, some changes in leadership came with spirits I just can’t vibe with. Time to let go! Signed, sealed and delivered, this is the most peaceful I have felt in months. I believe God is shifting me out of here. The God I serve is not a God of confusion, emptiness, frustration nor would he allow me to be working with someone who treats staff like they’re nothing. Wow! I have a very similar story. I resigned from a job I truly loved - art teacher at the same middle school for 14 years. The new culture and admin were very toxic and unsupportive. Absolutely disrespectful behaviors of students had turned me into a remnant of myself. I didn't realize it until the last few months, but the students were very clearly verbally abusive towards me and many of the other staff. It was just chaos, and my depression and anxiety had progressively worsened over the last few years. I am not angry, but I do get frustrated when I realize that I gave everything to this job, and they just did not care. NOT ONCE did I get a thank you for everything you have done for the kids, or we will miss you, or you are a valued member of our staff and we support you and wish you all the best . . . But rather, they essentially pushed me out and never looked back. That is a hard pill to swallow. Somehow, everything I did for my students, the school, and district meant nothing to them but everything to me. I loved my students, and I loved sharing my passion and love of art and will always be grateful to God because I was able to do something I loved and I was proud of what I did and I was actually pretty good at it too. What a wonderful gift from our creator. In the last few years, it became apparent that my subject was not as important as the others, and I was treated accordingly. I was passive- aggressively pushed out. However, I don't hold any one person responsible for me leaving. I had to leave because I was suffering and had nothing else to give. I needed to heal so I could be the best mom and wife I could be. I know that God has better plans for my future career. Better than I could ever imagine, but right now, I am waiting, and there is much to be learned from just accepting and moving on. To just be still. It is difficult, but critical that I put all my trust in God because I have no idea what to do or where to go from here. Learning to trust and let go when you are suffering is a beautiful thing. I only know that I want my next career to support others and glorify God with my talents. I went through some dark times, but God uses our pain for good. Otherwise, all of that pain is wasted. Thank you for sharing, and I did not intend to vomit my inner turmoil all over the comment section - so I apologize for the weirdness🤮😫😳 I will remember you in my prayers.

Grace has lifted. My boss makes up false accusations against me. I really thinks she’s insane. The other manager is equally miserable and has critiqued me me pointing out ridiculous things as weaknesses that are stupid. God help me to trust you.
This video popped on my feed out of nowhere because God is hitting me upside the head like “I’m telling you to leave!!” I decided to leave and will put in notice after I pay off my debt and save $ to then bounce. One thing I can say, after being in this situation (and again, where I am bullied for my faith while the workplace pushes sinful agendas), sometimes action makes you feel better, while you're at the job and not ready to step out and quit: - listen to Dave Ramsey and Ken Coleman. - Dave will say to start saving 3-6 months of savings. Of course,get out of debt, and before that, save 1k of emergency money. -Ken Coleman gives counsel on the workplace, career, etc. - make your plans. Having a solid goal, whether it's getting to 6 months of income in savings, or something else that will sustain you (looking for another job, doing Uber or Instacart), having that goal encourages you and gets you out of that dark hole you are in. Yes, you're still at your job, and yes, you want out, but making and implementing these plans will help you.
WOW! THANK YOU sister for this encouraging message! I NEEEEEDED THIS! I am working in a job where I could feel the "grace" leaving me especially this last month. I do not have the strength to do even one more task in my current job!!! I am depleted, drained, empty and miserable. I am battling with those "oh, people would beg to have this job" or "God gave you this job and now you're unthankful?" Everything you explained I am going through right now and I have been praying really hard for God to show me if I should leave. I have been in this job for 10 months and I feel like my job has been done. I already went for an interview at a new job this week and should hear sometime next week. I went to our local pastor and he said "the Holy Spirit says "the season is over'". I'm not sure what that means in practice but I do not want to to continue in my job but I'm praying hard that God reveals me what I should do. I'm on 2 weeks leave now for R&R. God bless your work.

I've been at my current job for about 3 years now. I left last year but came back because I was financially depleted and my boss kept asking me to come back. I also didn't leave on good terms and I felt this was God's way of saying "right your wrongs." Coincidentally, one of the old coworkers who I didn't get along with left and came back as well, so I thought it was the perfect opportunity to get on a better foot with them. It's been six months since I've been back and the grace has definitely left me. I can't even complete all my assigned hours without looking for an excuse to leave early. The tension in our small circle is increasing tenfold, and the coworker who I wanted to get along with was cool for a while, but now there's more animosity between us. I hardly want to get up for work anymore. It's not all bad though, as I have recently started to look into more holistic practices as a result and am looking to start my own business. A couple of my coworkers are also now like family to me and would support me at the drop of a hat if need be. Whatever the next move God wants me to make is, I want to be completely dependent and trusting of Him. (Sorry for my ramble y'all, God bless you.)

Girl I JUST started this job in DEC and I felt Grace leave my first day! My first day I was not happy. I find myself on n off with liking it. The people are very nice but God and I both know this was only a filler job for the bills until I find my creative job
God is calling me to leave my job. It’s sad cause the devil using my mother to bring doubt into me on not leaving my job. How can you respectfully tell your mom that she is being a vessel to bring discouragement into my life and that I need healthy boundaries and space while I transition into the new job that God has called me to go into.

I've been struggling with this for over a year. Meaningless job after job knowing full well what I am called to do. This is the most specific and helpful video there is for those who find themselves called to something else. The doubts, fears etc are so right on! I didn't see need a whole lot of confirmation because God has made my mission clear but be it helps me even more knowing the enemy is trying to stop me.

I made a prayer 2 or 3 years ago that I no longer want to work at a call centre when I'm 35 I want to do what God called me for fast forward I have been medically boarded since September last year and I was 34 I turned 35 in May still medically boarded and God reminded me of a prayer I made so I took this opportunity to resign and move into what I was born for. Thank you for allowing God to use you. I will come back to testify.
This was on point. I burned out a few years ago and that Grace definitely lifted. I started a business and its been going okay but also bc I can create my own schedule now with my business, I was spending more time with him and found my purpose. BUT thru that whole time, I was sick. Its like the enemy knew that I was moving away from his purpose for me to Gods purpose. This video fits perfectly.
I’m definitely struggling with this now. I’m a Social Media Manager for this company I work for. I haven’t been there too long. But it’s definitely something I wanted to do just because I know my gifts with videography,photography and content creation. But lately they have been micromanaging me with everything and even went to the lengths of taking some of my content down from their page because they decided after the fact they approved it that they didn’t like it anymore.. I’ve only been working there for a month and I already feel like they don’t really trust or value my insight to the business overall. I just got to the point where I really don’t feel motivated to do the job anymore.. and I definitely have those thought of “You were blessed with this job.. you should be thankful” and I am! I just .. idk. Smh 🤦🏾♀️

I recently got promoted to a position I thought I wanted. Later on, God revealed an expectation my managers have for the position I’m in. And I immediately felt that’s not a job I wanted to dedicate my life too. I continued to work this position because I felt it was a blessing from God as it came with a nice pay raise, and I didn’t want to be ungrateful for it. But I’ve been sacrificing my peace, need of fulfillment, and mental health the past 10 months I’ve been in the position. And I really dread going into this job now. Too afraid to step out because I don’t want to go somewhere outside of his plan and will. Maybe it’s time for me to finally make my move
I did that for 2 years, but God was the one that actually led me to that position. After two years of growing, learning resilience, and being obedient (it was not easy) God provided me with a way out, doing a lot easier job for the same pay at the same company. Please make sure it’s God telling you to move. You do not want to move before it’s time.
Wow....It's like this Video was recorded just for me. I'm really good at my job. I joined my current company six years ago and in a very low position. By the grace of God, I have had four promotions in the past six years and I now hold a senior post and I'm thankful for that. However, I have always known that I'm meant for something more. I have never pictured myself doing what I'm doing now for the rest of my life. But I don't know what it is I'm meant for :) Nevertheless, I respect my Job and I believe that it's important and the working environment is great. Speaking of the grace being lifted, oh mine is gone. I have completely lost interest in my job. Waking up in the morning has become so difficult. I sit on my bed after waking up and think about how miserable my life is. I go to work and look at my watch all the time, to see if it's time to go home. Mind you, I was the kind of guy who the security guards kick out b/c it was too late to stay at the office :) To your point, I have learned a lot in the past six years that I don't believe there anything more for me to learn at this company. God told me to quit Construction. I did within a week. I was scared that I wouldn't find another job. God told me not to worry because he'll get me a job at Amazon. Sure enough he did, I've been working there ever since.
God told me to quit my job and I’m nervous. I knew I would start my business but I think he wants me to quit cold Turkey and start.. my job which is Instacart started to dry up once god spoke this to me. I was so confused because everything was going good, I was talking to god everything then boom he told me and then there was a shift.
I need more money for the amount of work I do. My boss was saying that people who make$100k are living paycheck to paycheck but didn't mention a raise in that save conversation.
This is a struggle as I believe teaching is connected with God and sometimes I feel and I know that the only Praise and worship songs or scriptures these students hear is when they are in my classroom. But lately, I just don't feel motivated to create songs, games or activities the way I used to do. The kids are disrespectful and don't listen. They are not interested and I'm tired of overworking so superiors don't say the kids are failing because of something I did or didn't do (as a teacher that's not a good feeling). It's only the first week of school and already have a sore throat from talking too much asking them to behave or stop talking. I'm also over the gaslighting tactic (you don't have class management). I think my grace has lifted when I don't care to create games and activities anymore (which I'm known for).
God is definitely calling me to leave my job. It’s been an amazing time at this company and i’ve made lasting relationships but He’s moving me into a different industry but similar role which feels scary because I feel like it’s the season for promotion but anything I can’t do He can empower me to do it 🙌🏽

Funny enough today I tried to call my old manager for my job back , the same job that didn’t feel the same because God told me to focus on my business. I was only calling so I could have a side job to pay bills. My manager did not answer the phone or my text, I believe that door is closed. I decided to come on your tube and the first thing I see is this video so I definitely know God has closed that door completely.

LOL. I'm one of the lucky ones that was able to ignore Gods advice to quit my job. I was lucky enough to not listen to Gods poor suggestion and finally retired this year. Thank goodness we have free will! Am I right folks? Otherwise I'd be destitute.

God allows us to rest in certain seasons. Just like he allowed many times of rest in the Bible . To use one scripture to isolate why she shouldn’t quit her job is a hasty generalization. Secondly , she never said GOD asked her to stop working forever . And working goes beyond the corporate field , some people are called to ministry and God provides still

I am sure there many other passages in Scripture supporting the need for people to work. 5. The welfare system (created by democrats, by the way) has crippled the United States from day one. How sweet it is to collect a check biweekly while the rest of us earn every dollar through blood, sweat and tears. How cute is that? 6. Are you a democrat?
