It's definitely good for business. Imagine a green business growing it will definitely attract green consumers as well as the educated bunch of young people to the industry. With education all around the world, people are starting to support these green businesses as evident to the growing eco-businesses and eco-tourism. Hope more businesses can really go green and not just exploit the idea of being green and instead further harm the environment.

I like what that lady said about making governments to take action by subsidizing efforts to recycle and convert used goods into something usable. The very rich don't want to help?, then the international communities leading by their governments should stop making them so unnecessary wealthy by no buying their products. The other big problem to be assessed would be to produce all the energy needed to make these plans possible and this is something this generation should really start seriously working on it. A single hotel started all this in a tiny country, could you imagine if we all do the same in our nations? Even Mexico, a country considered a third world one, is no longer providing bags to customers in supermarkets, not even paper bags. Customers don't bring their own?,they have to carry their groceries in their hands; and that is an example to be follow by nations like Canada where the best approach they have in the same business is to charge buyers five cents for a plastic bag that it will end up in the oceans. This is a time for changing before it will be too late and the governments, at a global level must do something better than making speeches on how to save the planet. The planet is fine, we are the problem destroying our own habitats by having too much comfort. Greetings from Toronto.

BOMBA no it’s wasn’t used in all cases “use your brain” lol. When people say, “ban plastic” they mean single use plastic. But in the minds of regular people it means “all plastic”. Even in this video, the term “single use plastic” should’ve been used all the time. But they used just “plastic” in some cases. This creates an hate in the minds of people regarding the plastic industry and the people who work in them. Therefore they get a lower salary as a result. I’m sure you will not understand this point as it needs a lot of knowledge and thinking. But I hope I introduced you to a “small” problem that’s actually big.
@bomba7197
@bomba7197 4 года назад
@@Vedrajrm 1:19 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ if by 'regular' people u meant stupid people like u then yes it will create hate. An organized script doesn't need to use the term everytime, everyone (execpt u) already understand what they are referring to. And you are so dramatic saying creating 'hate' sure.. the demand for single use plastic (I have to spell the term in all cases as u wished) have decreased but the industry can adapt to other needs other than creating single use plastic. Who r u to say this topic needs a lot of knowledge and thinking? From what I read from ur first comment it clearly shows ur level of intellect and I'm worried that your 'knowledges' are false because u didn't use ur 👂 and I hope u use ur 👁️ when u reading knowledge, so u don't comment clearly false information

Is going green good for business? Beside economic benefits going green is important for our environment. Our climate is constantly evolving in a bad direction and our nature gets destroyed more an more. This is because of our consume behavior. People are consuming a lot more and with less conscious. We order products from all around the globe and we throw them away when we don’t like them anymore and forrests are getting destroyed for Agriculture. More and more people start to fight against modern consume behavior and start to go green. Especially for these people a green Hotel is a good option to go on vacation without creating a lot of pollution. This means that a green business is really good for the reputation of a company. But how can a business go green? The vacation economy creates a lot of pollution because the customers throw everything away. That means you have to give your customers rules, like no plastic usage. But that’s not enough. You should try to recycle everything possible and use products which are sustainable. Examples are straws made of bamboo, melting imported liquor bottles or using see shells as decoration. Going green might be a big challenge because you have to do much more work compared to a normal business . Your Employees have to learn how to act more responsible and all your suppliers have to fulfill your rules.But when you have switched everything to green you get much more attractive for customers. You can also set your prices higher because your hotel is much more exclusive than others. All in all you can say that going green is a very promising business for the future.

#2020 first of all i think, plastic is a by-product of crud oil, so no body ever never cannot stop plastic usage, if you block it one form it will come in another form, like polyester and non volen bags, polypropylene bags, or nylon or ryon bags, first we need to separate those and send to recyclable companies and about single use plastic government know everything they only need to take action, some times videos like these mislead the public, tq team CNBC

India already has ban placed on single use plastic materials below certain microns. There are also restrictions and taxes on thicker single use plastics. Also, unlike most of the countries in list there, India doesn't dump most of it's plastic in ocean (But that doesn't mean it's use is lesser than these countries). There is a long long way to go in sustainability just to get back to normal levels. But it's so good to see countries are finally acknowledging the issue and acting on it.
