I mean in my opinion it’s a terrible story with loose plot lines that just so happen to tie together and gojo was really the only interesting character in the entire story so even if he was only there 20% of the time he still was better than the entire main cast and plot
@@biggesttwigest7684jjk is far from having “terrible writing” this is a obviously dumb statement but somehow I still can’t disprove it because something like that is subjective. You are being really disingenuous tho calling the writing terrible and the plot lines loose. The lore of jjk is actually extremely deep and the story is very coherent
@@biggesttwigest7684 I disagree with the story being terrible and having loose plot lines. Why not just drop the story off rip if you think it's terrible? I don't see it being worth it keeping up with it for a character that's barely in it
@@Kingdavism I mean hey 🤷it’s your opinion I was just trying to say that dropping a manga because of one character isn’t dumb because in my opinion gojo was the only character that kept me reading and since he’s dead there’s no point to keep reading
The thing is ppl are mad that sukuna is the one being glazed and not gojo because if it was gojo being glazed people would be acting and talking different
The sukuna fight is kinda boring now. Their is a character introduced back into the story and hyped up They battle sukuna and look like their cooking Sukuna does some goofy stuff and they get cooked A cliffhanger with a new character
@@PyroniumZgoing very well yeah sukuna tanks a second jacobs ladder with his secret heain era tehcnique and uses his anti modern sorcerer technique to kill everyone from this era. 😂
I knew Gojo had to croak and it was coming, that wasn't the problem. It was the ass pull off screen and the glazing Sakuna has recieved for a year that put me off.
Are kind of disagree with the glazing I do disagree that is the fact that he got off screen is a little annoying like I wish gay guy just showed it but and the reason I disagree with the glazing is mostly because a lot of the stuff that is pulling off is stuff that we know is possible within the series so it's not really asspulls also the him using the world dismantling cleave did get an explanation so in my opinion it's less of an a****** because we say Maharaja do it and then if you're talking about more recently in the fight it's like okay what is he performed well he got lucky with the taking away of comatose he used a world dismantling Cleveland Halo wicker basket both things that we know he can use then he landed a black flash something that we know anybody can perform you just need to get lucky then he took out coosa Cafe with ease he fought Miguel and logically won along with LaRue who then used his ability so Eugene could land a black flash then sukuna using the power of the black flashes that he's had in his own binding vows made to summon his domain again he then fired off fuga which we already know about then he summoned the domain again
How was it an ass-pull the entire fight foreshadowed the ending and Sukuna is at the peak of jujutsu sorcery so yeah they’re gonna hype him up everyone always says it’s an ass-pull like Sukuna isn't obviously holding back the entire fight and trying to utilize Mahoraga over everything else in his arsenal
@@ConstantinDOSSOU-vy1zofr like Sukuna literally has four arms two mouths an open barrier domain and incarnated his soul into 20 separate fingers who else in the cast of jjk has done anything remotely similar in magnitude not even Gojo did anything close to that and people are like “why do they glaze Sukuna so hard?” like probably because he’s the strongest sorcerer from the age of the strongest sorcerers and has been an integral part of the plot long before the story’s beginning
The real reason manga sales were so much lower compared to volune 26 was because gojo vs sukuna was arguably the biggest fight in new gen anime so ofc its gonna have insane manga sales and after gojo vs sukuna it kinda died down (literally) so it's mostly because people wanted to read the fight and didnt care that much for the series itself
It’s the one of the problems of making op characters, and then especially making them likable, the only way you can progress the story is by somehow removing them and then there strong to the point where you have to hoe them to remove them, no one’s gonna be happy regardless of how it plays out
I disagree. Think about this, what if a evil character way too strong for even the op strongest character like Gojo to even stand a chance you could either let that person die, but if he can’t do it unless everyone else gets that much stronger than no one can. Or option 2-you let the op character live because if he’s that much outclassed by the bad guy then he isn’t op anymore and you use him as a hurdle to overcome through a good training arc fighting the new up and coming generation seriously until they can stand up against even Gojo in this case. Then giving the characters a new less than final boss but still stronger than Gojo threat to fight and win while unlocking new abilities to put them atleast on Gojo esk level and then let Gojo either hold off the big bad guy till he dies or have the newly trained and leveled up younger generation come in and take the final w or give a final even greater power up to the big bad guy (the merger) and let Gojo(weakened), yuji(with shrine, blood abilities, and RCT because he could’ve learned to reversal shrine to heal instead of cut and a domain expansion would definitely help), a now newly recovered megami (with all unlocked shinigami spirits with mahoraga totality because mahoraga was killed by Gojo but can atleast be totality) maki(if she isn’t dead) yuta+rika(with all the cursed techniques he’s gathered, including Jacob’s ladder, and weakened shrine as well as domain expansion) etc based on if more are needed for plot, and let them all fight the merger together but make the merger happen in different places around the world where large populations exist and each one go either in 2 man teams or individually go and fight the beasts that are forming on each continent before they can all merge into one final big boss that would destroy the world.
And the entities created from the merger happening on each continent don’t have to be massive in size, just make each one a villain human like but comparable to sukuna. Make them a Merged curse Calamity like an extreme over powered jogolike/hanamilike intelligent curse quite literally absorbing all the regular human souls within massive areas where they spawn in and causing essentially a massive apocalypse like event and the only people unable to be absorbed are curse technique users. These power house would be absorbing any and all humans in massive areas in each continent until the all reach one area to all merge into one final being,

I mean, is it really that insane when it’s very clear that the whole purpose of JJK is to just kill every character and give emotional damage to all the readers
I disagree with that because the main point of the story is to tell a very compelling story and with interesting characters in a great power system I'm only going to kill characters that people care about which is little psychopathic is the reason he hasn't killed Mei Mei
I mean... can ya blame them? The GOAT died off-screen and didn't recieve the respect he deserved afterwards. On top of that, the nerve to say that Sukuna wasn't even trying. Don't forget the binding vows shenanigans to top it off.

@@PyroniumZ sukuna was dated to be able to one shot yuji with cleave but has gotten do nerfed he can only scratch him... that was before 8 black flashes. But he somehow made a binding vow to get his domain back?? We don't even know what is sacrificed. Sukuna is only living via plot armour and plot convenience.
@@asura3229 Bro is acting like Sukuna didnt tear apart Yuji when their "fight" started. Binding vows werent to get domain(black flash was) but keep its output and size, which is what made it last only 99 seconds. I was also stated by Yuta that Sukuna could slowly regain his domain and rct at any moment. Still waiting for the plot armor
@@PyroniumZ That's not the problem if he's out put is so low, how did he have enough out put to make a domain. Yeah then how did he make it last 3 minutes vs Yuta? How could he regain his RCT if yuji keed nerfing him, yuji lowers his output and his CT control he shouldn't have been able to regain it.
Wouldnt say he dominated in the entire fight, he was just being aggressive while Sukunas wincon was being on defense and Sukuna would have literally came out without any major damage outside of no domain if Gojo didnt land black flashes
I highly disagree with gojo dominating the fight because if you read the actual fight the entire fight is kind of a back and forth or is pulling out new cards and New tricks having developments on the fly the fight throughout the entire thing well yes suck and it was more on the defensive that was mostly him trying to figure out ways around Infiniti besides domain amplification because if you remember don't mean amplification also can't cancel out making these techniques so when he's using domain name he can't block with either technique Maharaja is reliable but it's not a guarantee because gojo can very easily kill Maharaja so throughout the entire flight until near the second half where Maharaja fires off his slash that cuts through gojo's arm and then sue going to realize is wait I have a way around this and then in the end the explanation came after he killed gojo but it was already set up earlier in the fight
My thing is, if you’re reading or watching something for just one character, you shouldn’t be reading or watching that specific thing. You consume media because you enjoy that specific media, not cause you simp over a character and are gonna drop the series if they die, thats just ratty. But this is coming from a local hater so it’s not like i’m preaching gospel or anything.
I mean like its there decision really like as long as they're not sending death threats because of the character or stuff like that I don't really see the harm in reading for a specific character
It's perfectly fine to read a manga for a character. I mean, gojo is quite honestly my favorite character in all of anime (I need to make clear I don't care he died, he needed to for the story) and where else do we get to read that character anyway? Gatekeeping just bc a person enjoys media differently than you isn't valid from my perspective.
Man the funny thing is that Gojo was more of the main character than the main characters also the only reason I keep reading is because of Maki if you know what I mean
Our boy yuji and todo cooking in the manga so best believe ill keep reading i never got people who just read for gojo personally i kept going bc the power system is goated imo
People wanting Gojo's comeback is the biggest cope i have ever seen. Like he got cut in half and even got a chapter in the afterlife finishing his development
It's actually just having to put up with Sukuna. There are hype moments and shitty writing. We have literally been fighting Geges OC for an entire year. Why wouldn't they lose interest? I wouldn't pay for this.
@asura3229 I wouldn't say it's a bad decision so much as it'd one that differs to majority of our expectations. Not to mention that it was probably done to bring attention to the merger also mha had shigaraki overpower everyone in the series for a while
Gojo was a fan favorite. He dominated his fight with Sukuna, then to come to chapter 236 to see Gojo, a character that many people loved and favored over all others, dies by being offscreen! Of course people are going to leave. It was great to end Gojo's story by dying to a stronger opponent like Sukuna, but how it was executed upsets people. Another reason why Jjk was popular in the first place was for Gojo. His scenes in the anime are the best moments in the entire series, and the only one rivaling that is Sukuna. You can probably remember every scene with Gojo and Sukuna then with Yuji, who didn't have a CT until the current arc, and Yuta who has only appeat twice in the anime.
that insane cause gojo is literally rarely in the story…hes sealed for almost 100 chapters if not more honestly and then for the first 100 or so he pops up occasionally
It is what it is. But I'm always in the opinion that authors should never sacrifice their narrative vision to appease to fans. If you want to commit to something, go all the way. Anything else would ruin a potential masterpiece.
Gege literally admitted to killing off characters that the readers care about to make the story more interesting I don’t blame the people who saw gojo die because we already watched nanami die we watch nobara die so many people died and you blame people for stop reading manga when gojo die too
@@Lordmaster135 bro if I know that you're just gonna kill people just cus I'm just not going to care. Even goes out of his way to kill characters like yuki when it's just bad writing.
Gojo was always gonna die so the plot could advance forward but the way he went out kinda sucked, the majority of the fight he was winning and then he got killed by a binding vow and then glazed Sukuna after death😂
Well, gojo vs sukuna was the biggest fight in the series. The whole series was building up for that fight so of course the sales would drop a little afterwards, it’s not necessarily because gojo died. And there’s probably a decent amount of people who just bought that volume specifically to see the gojo vs sukuna fight
The moment gojo died everything became repetitive. New sukuna challenger, gets hyped up, defeated/kill, and repeat. The amount of sukuna ass pull, glazing gege did was absolutely insane. Blud stated that another hollow purple would kill him, but miraculously survives. Bro the state sukuna is in rn is by far WORSE when he tanked gojos nuke purple, YET HE STILL SURVIVED A POINT BLANK ONE FROM YUTA???? Bro stated that he would literally die to another purple, but miraculously survives 2 of them. Sukuna wasn't able to heal, was pumping his heart with CE, and is overall in a bloody and battered state yet still survived another purple. Mind you this was after getting hit with yuta's jacob's latter, pierced in the heart by maki's soul split katana, 8 of yujiz black flashed that literally damages the soul. I could go on in on. Point is, the moment gojo died everything became ass, hence while people stopped reading the manga. Dont get me wrong, jjk as a whole is an amazing piece of art. However, there is no denying that the hype died down a bit when gojo died.
I mean yeah Gojo was what made the series popular in the first place and by far the best character. His offscreen death has been followed by straight up lobotomy kaisen writing with half the s*** making no sense. Like no wonder sales have fallen off.
Everyone has their own interests. Jjk is a very good manga, with or without gojo. However I wasn’t a big fan of how he met his end. It felt like he got offed just to make the story progress, which in my opinion tarnished his character and the impact he’s had on the genre and the whole world. Rip Goatjo.
I mean, the way Gege killed Gojo was kinda bad, he was killed like an damn npc. And then the Sukuna cycle came and now we are stuck in a infinity cicle of hype up, sukuna beats the person, hype up, Sukuna beats the person, hype up, Sukuna beats the person. You got it.
Guys glazed Gojo is insane I know he is goat but uhh seriously? Why did you even read manga just for one character? That is how watch Dragon ball only to see Goku
I dropped the manga a bit after gojo died maybe like a couple dozen chapters after just because in terms of quality the manga has dropped off significantly not because of the absence of gojo but because it is repeating the same cycle over and over again and has absolutely terrible pacing
Tbh I can't stand gojo lol yujis megami yuta maki all way cooler people just like gojo cuz he's strong which is weird AF I'll never get why people thought gojo who isn't the main character was gonna beat sukuna it was always gonna be yuji it's his story not gojos.
People stopping to buy the manga when they still have the four armed king Sukuna with us? 😞 SUKUNA SOLOS GOJO HE WAS HOLDING BACK SO MAHORAGA COULD ADAPT RAHHHHHHH
ngl jjk was never good and I can explain why in heavy excruciating detail but I will just simply put it as this if gojo never existed in jjk which I know sounds dumb because he does but simply remove him from the story and replace him with nanami and poof jjk would have gotten the axe. Just think about jjk already almost caught the axe originally so if there was no fan favorite character it would have definitely caughten the axe!
