What Garens do is at level 1-5, they abuse their passive regen to play safe against lane bullies. Level 6 onwards, if he has ignite, he becomes a strong champion that can actually help in ganks. Once Garen finishes Stride => Hullbreaker combo, its already GG. No one can kill him, no one can catch him in side lane, especially if he has ghost. In a 1v1, unless its a tank, he wins against most bruisers. Tl:dr Garen is insanely powerful for side laning and putting pressure without repercussion.
You aren’t required to catch him in side he can’t shove lane if you pick a champ with heavy wave clear, also he loses hard to ranged top without flash ignite up
@@ramonvolp3663 no I said if you match his wave clear you reduce the pressure greatly, he isn’t gonna constantly produce that pressure without minions, then it boils down to a game of either can you perform in mid game better or can ur team
I have been playing Olaf top just be be able to feel something again as Olaf is the only champ in the game that has an option in his settings to turn off cc and the liberating feeling of being able to move outweighs the brain damage caused by playing Olaf
İ mean i loved undying aatrox but you know assassintrox really felt cool but broken this way i feel more like an unkillable top damage drain tank which aatrox literally have to be so I'll be huilding gd from now on
Garen has been a weird sleeper pick against meta picks for months now. It's probably just because of his W to break out of CC really quick, and can pop phase/Q to skitter away. Though I'm just silver.
more like progressively better, they had to buff gore to compete woth eclipse and then buffed duskblqde which replaced both gore and eclipse. now we’re back to a gore buff to replace duskblade
@@bmaxy1563no, you wouldn't build gore if it wasn't for the magic dmg changes. If we were still full physical dmg nothing would have changed with gore giving 100 extra hp
idk bro. garen became strong vs aatrox like a few patches ago as i understood. even if you win the lane, he oneshots you in the late p.s. shojin has a decent winrate on aatrox, but its very situational for squishy teams. also if you need more atk speed for the goredrinker, you can go alacrity with steraks and mercs, you'll still have 40% on average
so out of curiosity-what makes Spear of Shojin a bad item fundamentally on Aatrox? It's a ton of CDR, health, and AD-all of which I imagine an Aatrox really wants.
Aatrox doesn't need a lot of cdr, with his build path usually you end up having minimal cooldowns on q and e, the only thing shojin helps with is W, and not by much.
with the new SpearofShojin Changes it is actually a great 3rd item for Aatrox bcs if u just look at the base stats of the item its already broken but Naayil is just stupid and doesnt want to build it he never tried to play it for at least 5 games in a row.....he just ttried it once then he feeded and said its bad yes its bad for you naayil bcs ur garbage
i dislike their removal of mythic system, simply because i fear what mages could do with crown plus luden's. WIth the mythic system they had to choose between dmg or tankiness, they could be both now
As Garen main, Garen by himself is still bad he is better now thx to buffed items Stridebreaker - +10Ad +75Hp Mortal reminder - +5AD Sterak's gage - +50Hp -100gold that tenacity thing Lastly Hullbreaker is OP again (Not as much as it used to be but still) although Garen early still sucks as hell, even more than before despite stats buff

@@ovencookies4856 sunderer and goredrinker are 2 completely different items but gore is just so much better in teamfights due to its stats giving hp omnivamp and haste sunderer is pretty much a laning item which is why u see so many splitpushers building sunderer bc they 1v1 perma. Putting it in simpler terms aatrox is teamfight champ so gore = good value bc ur front lining and ur getting 5 manned and gore passive makes u heal a lot more when u hit more ppl now sunderer ur getting 1 auto off and still dying bc ur healing less than gore active, ur also squishier bc gore = more hp. Sunderer is definitely viable though I’m thinking like camille, fiora, jax maybe even Olaf

That champ has been broken in toplane many times in high elo arround challanguer....and its mostly because he doesnt need to take fights that hes not gonna win...he always gets away and if he fights when itd favorable for him he will always win without the people getting away or winning trade while he simply heals
erm akshually 🤓☝ Goredrinker speed scales not much with AS (it does but not as much) also depends on the champ, cause differen't champs not only have different AS but also different "windup time" its an stat, an estadistic that league dosen't show cause its...well- ama stop hiere so i don't fucking sleep anyone by talking. THE ONE MF who YES scales a ton with AS its stridbreaker, they removed its dash, now its as usless as a rabadon for darius
