Is Gypsy Rose Being Honest About Ex Ryan Anderson Body Language Analysis 

I have issue with the whole situation and everyone’s obsession with her release. The internet has put her on this pedestal & it makes no sense to me. You can’t go from extreme abuse through childhood (ending in the murder of your mother) straight to prison and expect this person to be well adjusted and in the best shape to make healthy choices. Unless the girl is in extensive therapy everyday, can admit to her own wrongdoings, and can properly HEAL, she can never be a ROLE MODEL for society. If this comes off harsh, I’m not sorry.

Her smile after the “shut up” is terrifying.

The cycle of abuse is so real. Her mom did the same thing to her (like squeezing her hand/pinching) to maintain control of her.

It's obvious that Gypsy is so traumatized that she is an emotional minefield. The fact that she also repeats/mimics a lot of her abusive mothers mannerisms/controlling techniques is also not a good sign. Red flags all around.

Her mum was said to pinch her, grab her hand, etc. when she wanted to control what she was about to say.

WOAH! Her holding his arm and controlling what he says just like her mom used to do to her just blew my mind! I haven’t noticed that yet!! Edit: WOWOWOWWWWW I hope she watches that interview back and sees how much of her mom is in her. She needs that reality check big time 🤯

Girl need therapy so bad but unfortunately I see some narcissistic traits that would make her resistant to anything a therapist might suggest. I really hope that she lets down her guard and gets some help because "hurt people hurt people" and the cycle continues. Unfortunately, there are not too many signs that history wont repeat itself here manifesting in different types of abuse.

I feel for all she's been through in her childhood. It's all pretty horrific. However, she's damaged. I haven't heard accountability or responsibility from her. I see her as a dangerous woman, not a hero.

Honestly, you could make an entire episode just about the interviewer LOL I started becoming more interested in her body language, trying to keep her composure, than the actual interview. Not a criticism, the video was fantastic as usual! But she did not hide her contempt well

I really think Ryan being from Louisiana was the qualifying factor. It had nothing to do with him. She's not in love with him, never was, (and he appears to be very aware of that, he's obviously not secure) he was just a good piece to put in place for when she was released from prison. I think Gypsy is far more controlling than Ryan. She's clearly been doing shady things like talking to Ken and lying about it...which I'm sure Ryan suspected or outright knew. I think she's calling it 'controlling' when he reacts and has anything to say about it. She's had no respect for him or their relationship and I doubt she hid that well. And I'm sure Ryan seen it. He thought maybe he could win her over by placating her.

It's creepy that Ryan even decided to write ✍️ to Gypsy since he was a Special Ed. teacher. I believe that he is someone who has had trouble with relationships and finding love. I think that he was genuinely interested in having a life with Gypsy. He said that Gypsy loves to make him jealous and that she is very jealous. He talked about how she is very hard to live with because she loves to argue. I don't believe that he abused her especially after watching their body language and seeing how she was controlling. ** She should not have married anyone while she was in prison and she should have cut off all communication with Ken once she realized that things were getting serious with Ryan. I hope that he will get some of Gypsy's money 💰 from their divorce. He deserves some money 💰 for pain and suffering. *** Gypsy used Ryan like she used Nick and she manipulated him. Ken is using Gypsy for fame and I believe that he will split once her fame fades. Ken said he broke up with Gypsy because he didn't like all of the cameras, but he's going to appear in her 6 part docuseries on Lifetime. He seems like an opportunist to me and like he enjoys a long distance relationship. *** She went from a guy who looked like her twin to a guy who looks like her mom to a guy who looks like her dad. *** She never takes accountability for her actions. I believe that she was locked in the bathroom while texting Ken. She thought that she could manipulate Ryan into believing that Ken was chasing her,but she never stopped talking to Ken. *** I think that Ryan is too intelligent and too good for Gypsy and he should consider himself blessed that she left and that they didn't have any children together. I think that Gypsy will regret leaving Ryan after her docuseries and her fame fades. Ryan needs to work on himself and getting healthy and just work on living his best life. 👌

I think Ryan’s comment about school wasn’t meant as an insult, but rather, school would have allowed her to be with a group of peers of the same age & track her own age.

It's so weird to me that she can't even mention one quality about Ryan that makes him stand out to her. Not the way he wrote or something. Seems more like a tool for her to be able to get back into her own city.

Shes a manipulator.. i feel bad for what she went through as a child but she learned from a manipulator for 23 years. She hasnt changed yet. Even the controlling squeezing of his arm. That's something she learned from her mother. And he's a creep for marrying her in prison period. I hope and pray both of them get some serious help. They need it.

I don’t think people truly understood the depths of the emotional and mental ab*se Gypsy endured and/or how that has shaped her. I’ve been of the belief that she is far more controlling and manipulative (not necessarily in a malicious or intentional way) that even she realizes.

The thing that really gets me is in one interview she said something along the lines of "I don't see myself as a murderer" and... she plead guilty to murder in her trial. I'm not justifying anything that her mom did to her because it was clearly awful but I do not think Gypsy is a good person.

It should be “happy spouse happy house” also a young girl that was abused and controlled ends up being abusive and controlling. Imagine that.

I believe the interviewer was able to see before the interview began, Gypsy's controlling behavior towards Ryan. Gypsy would have been difficult to deal with behind the scenes.

The interviewer probably researched her unlike the rest of the world and seen that things don’t add up. I have stopped watching content on her but was drawn to yours as a psychological perspective not just drama or entertainment…

I mean as for the interviewer that seems forced and fake, I’m sure she would prefer to interview a celebrity, a movie star, a singer and not either of them. I’m sure in her head she was like, “why are we giving them the time, platform and propping them on a pedestal” idk just my opinion

There are a lot of facts with proof this woman is lying about a lot of stuff. She can't keep her lies straight if you watch enough of her interviews. But....Thank you for the video though.

Great analysis. It WAS hard watching that interviewer, lol. I know Ryan comes off creepy and should've known better than to expect a prison marriage to work, but I still feel badly for him in this situation. Maybe Gypsy was his first encounter with a malignant narcissist, so that's why he didn't see it coming.

All I can think is, thank goodness he got away from her, so he can possibly find someone that appreciates him. She needs to stay single until she can grow and find who she is as an individual.

Gypsy experienced a childhood of extreme abuse, one of the most horrific cases which is why it drew national attention. She's not coming away from that experience psychologically healthy - no one would. The fact that she's copying manipulative behaviors her mother did shouldn't come as a surprise. The poor girl needs intensive, long-term therapy and, imo, shouldn't be in any romantic relationship until she's been able to heal through her intense traumas. I don't think she's aware of how unhealthy she is. This is just such a sad case all around.

In 1 video, she said that she never got chemotherapy and then the lifetime video. She said she had chemotherapy. She's lying about a lot of things. First of all, they would not give you chemotherapy unless you really have cancer She switches her story in every interview that she had done

Even if Ryan had access to her social media, i don't think he was checking it, because allegedly she's been talking with her ex fiance for a while now. 💔

The ET Interviewer behaved the way a woman who has a great relationship with her mother would react to meeting another woman who killed her mother. Most people don't think there's any possible justification to killing ones own parent(s), no matter how abusive the relationship.

This is exactly what her mom did to her on TV interviews to control what she said. I fear that she has a good amount of damage done to her about how relationships work. She seems to have some of her mom’s issues with control and manipulation. I hope she can get help, so she does not repeat the cycle. Edit: That smile after telling him to shut up was terrifying! He looks like a beat dog. He is not the abusive one. The interview may have seen behavior before filming that made her disgusted with Gypsy. I think the interviewers feelings say a lot really. It’s also terrifying she has no reservations about having children.

I don’t blame the interviewer, I’d feel the same way if I was talking to Gypsy.

If you watched her and Ryans interviews from day one, you will see her nudging and jabbing at him every time he tries to say something. And the ET interviewer! I picked up the same vibe of disgust from her when I first watched that interview. Cringe…

This woman suffered years of abuse and she spent years in prison. Her whole childhood was made into movies and documentaries. Her upbringing and her past are all huge red flags but This man Ryan sought her out to get to know her and date her. He eventually wanted to marry her. Soooo he’s really not a victim. Like who the heck did he think he was marrying He was desperate lonely and she was in jail. So he really got himself this mess.

Her mom used to squeeze her arm during interviews & doctors appointments when gypsy said something she didn't like. It's creepy yet ingrained in gypsy to do the same thing. She definitely learned some horrible habits from her mother. So sad but life is hard she doesn't need to control everyone like her mother did.

She creeps me out. As badly as she was treated by her mother, there's just something sinister about her, her little pretend high voice, and how she seems to think she's a different person from who she was when she basically solicited a guy to kill her mother.

Again, thank you so, so much for the captions, Logan, I am grateful. I feel for Gypsy, she's been through a lot, but my predictions with all of this was that she would divorce this man within 3 months and get an Only Fans. And now an account with her name has appeared (according to the Internet) and ... yeah, this girl is a mess. Cycles of abuse are difficult to break. It's very easy for abused people to eventually become abusers.

My mother was abusive and controlling and I have gravitated to abusive relationships with partners, where there hasn't been abuse I have found myself becoming controlling. Gypsy needs time to discover herself and who she is on the outside without a relationship or marriage, she also needs a lot of therapy to let go of this cycle that one person in the relationship must be controlling. I'm much older now and am far more self aware than to get drawn into those old cycles of abuse, it takes time and a lot of work. Their marriage was never going to work out, his intentions weren't positive and now she's free she's having to deal with the reality of what a marriage entails as well as all the endless criticism and speculation on her past and how she's living her life now. She's very insecure and her only experiences of being close to someone have always involved cohesive behavior, she has a long road to travel spiritually.

I feel the interviewer’s disdain, and I am here for it. Though I wonder if part of it is because she feels Gypsy is using her schtick of sweet southerner who is manipulative as all get-out. Or maybe she thinks, like me, that Gypsy should still be in prison like her co-conspirator.

This whole situation makes me so sad. When I heard of her release, I was elated because finally, finally, this girl who was abused and trapped pretty much her whole life gets to live her life and get her freedom. But suddenly she's also a married woman, and while I was excited for this next chapter of her life, I was genuinely terrified for her and this relationship. I wish she had taken more time and dated properly, gotten to know someone (not necessarily, exclusively, Ryan) properly first before stepping into marriage - especially considering her whole life up until then. I've been supportive of Gypsy and Ryan, but I've also been scared for them and could kinda see this coming. I genuinely believe that they are great people and deserve happiness, hence why this is so heartbreaking to me.

Ryan clearly has issues. The first tell is his size. You are clearly not coping well in life when you allow yourself to ballon like that. Second tell is him dating and marrying someone like Gipsy whilst she was in prison. He was a free man with a steady job, yet he couldn’t connect with any stable women.

To tell her husband to shut up is over the top. She is horrible

This young lady has so much healing to take care of , in my opinion I feel that should be a strong priority for her and those around her❤, I’ll will venture to say that any relationship she goes into may not work. She’s a beautiful young lady, deserves to be happy, I wish them well

One thing people have to realize is that no matter how you feel about Gypsy, this man is a very odd, creepy dude who sought her out while she was in prison and he’s older than her. If he were a healthy individual he wouldn’t have plucked her out like that. People seem to not realize this fact. Everyone is so quick to judge Gypsy or bash her. This guy has a very low maturity level and I’m guessing some mental and emotional issues. But ultimately he sought her out. We need to start holding people accountable.

How about we just let her live her life now? And I hope she gets into therapy asap to undo all the bullshit her mother created

Great observation. I will defend Gypsy's reaction to Ryan at 03:40 "it's hard though". WTF? We all know it is hard not to succumb to conformism BUT that's not the last idea we wanted to leave the audience with. I fully support Gypsy on "saying something, reacting". Absolutely yes. "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing,”. I think Ryan's comment was unnecessary and excusing those who do nothing and enabling them. Shut up Ryan!

His comment about schooling makes sense and could have been supportive to her argument about age (as she missed the milestones of moving through that yearly system) but she was too quick to "shut (him) up"

Gypsy picked Ryan from Louisiana all for Parole. Now, she has gotten a temporary restraining order on Ryan because he was yelling, and she didn't feel safe. Ryan found out she was talking with her ex fiance. She is so toxic and obviously hasn't learned a thing in prison, but to con better. She also has a genetic depletion that explains her physical and behavioral issues.

Gypsy is being EXPLOITED, big time. Ryan is a lonesome loser, and Gypsy is possibly his first ever girlfriend and now wife, then ex wife. They both jumped into marriage too soon. Stop the madness with Gypsy.

We learn alot from our parents, we all know what she learned from her mom, so the question here is can she overcome that urge to control another person which is what she innately learned. I kinda feel bad for him, she really needs to find herself, without a guy first. Learn life and grow as a person. Dating takes time, we all been through it….jumping right into marriages so quickly, that’s scarey. 😢 I feel sad for both of them.

I don’t think y’all understand.. Gypsy has been playing an innocent victim her WHOLE LIFE. It’s engrained into her to play innocent, I don’t think 8 years in jail is going to stop that. So the whole “blaming everyone else” thing is expected.

Gypsy did not need to get married in jail. She should've moved in with her dad and found herself before committing to someone. Living with someone is entirely different from dating or even being married to them apart in jail.

She is going to have mental health or personality disorders due to her mother. Her mom also likely had a Cluster B disorder. On top of the factitious disorder imposed on another. The behaviors shes displaying seem to mimic possibly the control she didn't have when she was with her mother to also in prison. That is no excuse for her to treat others that way. I truly hope she gets mental help and works through this so it will not keep escalating and harm her and others more.
