Those little plates would be good for a seasoned olive oil for dipping bread like they do at some Italian/American restaurants like Betucci’s, Lui Lui or Polcari’s. Then people would have their own and not worry about double dipping on a shared plate.
Daniel, I love your new dishes. Simply gorgeous. The tiny plate is used for à la cart items. Perhaps a couple of pickles, a lemon wedge like you suggested, or a tea bag. As far as the napkin rings. You always need at least one set in your arsenal to dress a table. Your veggie ones not only add a pop of colour and whimsy to your table scape, but create a talking piece. Once again, I love your style and taste.
The table looks lovely Daniel, and I see you found some peonies. Thinking the napkin rings add a burst of color and a bit of fun, totally synced in to outdoor dining. Not a fan of linen, it wrinkles and stains way to easy, but I love the place settings and the tiny dish would work great for a slice of lemon, or butter. Great fun shopping with you Daniel, thanks for sharing.
Those napkin ring holders are a MUST return! Those are so expensive!!!! unless your looking to splurge a bit (ALOT) then okay but wow I was thinking it was gonna be like $14 max
First Ikea, now H&M, for that (mostly) affordable Swedish touch 😄 As a Swede these videos have been pretty fun to watch. You might have to try Jotex or Cervera next to keep it going 😉
Your outdoor dining table was set to perfection. As for the napkin rings, yeah a bit cheap looking. Love your idea of some twin with a sprig of lavender. That's so much more your style. Return the rings, unless you love them, to each their own. ❤❤❤
Honest opinion on the cute enamel napkin rings. I ADORE them!! 🥰But I'm someone who likes loud/bright fruit and veggie decor. I think for the right tablescape it would look amazing ...but I think overall I see you happier with a more simple set💗
Adore a white plate. The food should be the star. I’d return the napkin rings. I’ve made my own going to Goodwill and buying old jewelry.. pin fronts, round earrings in mixed metals, or pearls and crystals, glued them on wooden rings, and they can look eclectic and beautiful on linen. The table looked beautiful; you have the touch.
I think the products are over priced tbh; But the outside table presentation is creative & really pretty. The napkin holders were a maybe until the table was put together and bam! the goodness! the cuteness! looks like something out of a Homes & Gardens magazine! You do such an amazing job at putting pieces together, decorating and presentation! Love it! I really do. I can see you not only having your own channel on cable but having a magazine or a book. You have a number of tips. knowledge and experience! thank you for inspiring me once again xoxo bless you! and your beautiful Mom : )
I have white little dishes like those and we use them at gatherings for pads of butter at each setting. Stops the passing and reaching. We also put between settings of two, small mini salt and peppers for those two people to share. I loved it all. You do such a great job. I know you will find someone who loves the things that you do for yourself and others and will uplift you with the love and appreciation you deserve.
I kinda liked the napkin rings, but holy cow are they overpriced! Also, being made of enamel, I doubt they'd last very long. I liked what you chose, though I'm not sure of the prices. Your tablescape was so lovely 🥰
LOL, I just saw your comment! I was going to say, those prices don't seem so high for Zara Home, but H&M? Maybe? I haven't been to either so what do I know? I do LOVE those plates! I have my mom's plain but stunning white & silver China - 20 complete place settings, that must be over 70 years old! perfect condition since she only used it on holidays, but as soon as I'm in a real home (not a temp apartment) I plan on using it for every day so it can be enjoyed, loved, and appreciated. One of my fav channels - thank you for being so lovely Daniel!
Everything is overpriced, but what the heck, so is everything else in the world. The napkin rings are cute (along with your serving dishes), just not what you would use all the time. Your table looked fabulous. I dislike linen due to the wrinkles, but the colors were great. Love you sis!
IKEA and H&M, you are now off the hook. Marshall's, TJ Maxx, Home Goods, you have your support. Bed, Bath, and Beyond, Lowe's, Raymore and Flannigan, La-Z-Boy and all other home and furniture chains in Hollywoodland/Montana that have not been visited yet I have a feeling that...ya better watch out, you better prepare, your displays and items must be inviting, you best be aware, Mister Preda's coming to town! Keep up the good work as always, Daniel, looking forward to the next video!
Daniel- I love love love the new dishes and the outdoor dining table. Everything looks so pretty and the napkin rings add a pop of color. TYFS your shopping trip with us and have a great day!
OMGawd, I love that simple plate dish sets, it reminded me of Rome's Italian restaurant, and it is very classic. KEEP that napkin rings, it's a keeper because it will never go out of style. I think the linen napkin goes well with that ring, it feels like Alice in Wonderland in Tuscany!
The tiny plate has to be for lemons. When I waitressed 100 years ago, we used those to bring lemons with the customer's water on tiny plates like that. Ok, at first glance, I was like NO to the napkin rings but after I saw the setting, I was like YES! It matches the dinnerware! I totally got the vision. Also, was this Zara Home or H&M Home? Or are they the same company? Your living room is stunning btw! It looks so homey and inviting! You have great style.🥰
I like the napkin rings, they are cute, but your table is beautiful and rustic. I loved your idea of the twine and lavender. It would go well with the natural linen and the plates. If not using for the seasoned oil, a lemon slice or pats of butter are good alternatives as well.
Pretty Eyes, I would feel honored to be a guest at your table. The little butter dishes were darling too. I am with you about the napkin rings though. Although cute, they won't last through a lot of washing. God Bless. Love you! xxoo
The napkin rings don’t go with those lovely, classy dishes. Then when somebody sits down at table and removes the napkin ring it will be irritating on the table like refuse. I say return them and use jute twine or better yet a cool napkin fold that doesn’t need anything. Maybe get some groovy individual mini salt and pepper shakers. I love those at each place setting. Love ya!
Expensive Daniel although I Absolutely Love The Plate Setting “It’s Very Stunning & Elegant To Me” the really small plate, can be to put your “Tea Spoon On After Your Stir A Coffee Or Tea, A Biscuit, A Chocolate Dinner Mint, As You Said A Lemon, Anything Really….I loved the size of the “Cup & Saucer” seemed bigger than you normally get, I just think it looked really classy & sturdy…. I’m truly shocked how much the things you showed have gone up in the US, I’ve been their a few times & we use to end up buying extra suit cases, because how much cheaper it use to be there… I’m in Victoria Australia & we are the “Most Expensive State In The World & We Have Barely Any Variety” It’s Becoming Impossible Here “Power Went Up Another 25% Yesterday, We Are Getting Hammered, Interest Rates Going Up Monthly, Just Everything You Can Imagine, Its Heart Breaking & Sad Watching Young Couples With Children Losing Their Homes Here & Grocery Items Marked Up By At Least “150% Mark Up” It’s Horrific Here & Beyond Belief”…. So it was really Interesting watching your “Shopping Haul Because Thing’s Have Really Become Expensive Their Too”….Great Video!!!
Hello from the UK. Loved the table.. Not sure on the napkin rings. In the UK when you go for coffee they put a little biscuit on those little plates. Xoxoxoxo
You just seem like my kind of people. Like your interests & design tastes are eerily similar to mine, same age, same dry sarcastic sense of humor and most importantly, you’re very calming lol. High energy people are wonderful but sometimes they be giving me hella anxiety. 🤣
Thanks for an honest review of Zara without a lot of negativity. Too much of that in the world today! I kinda liked the napkin rings but probably not really your style. Loved the plates especially the pasta bowl and the small/tiny plates can be used as a pinch bowl, salt dish or butter pat plate, tea bag holder……..myriad of uses.
Can you sew? I'd love to see you create your own table runners, napkins, pillow cases etc from the raw material , as someone who loves home decor like you do I think it's a skill worth learning.
Love your style and all the items I would buy for myself too, except of the napkins (beautiful but too hatd to keep clean;) and the napkin rings (maybe for me too much for this exquisit table design - but only my opinion;) Thank you for sharing❤ Love these kind of videos👍 By the way Zara Home has had the most beautiful cushion clothes at x-mas time (especially for kids)
Daniel, love the plate wear and l want those cappuccino cups.I was torn with those napkin rings but seeing them on the table l say keep them, your taste is impeccable 🙏💙
I buy all of my bedding from H&M home. It's more affordable than other brands and they have the cutest designs imo. :) I live in Sweden though, so there could be differences in both what items they have and the prices. I like H&M home in general but there's no hype around it here. If there's only a few H&M home stores in the whole country then that's probably the only reason it's hyped at all lol. In Sweden they're everywhere and no one really cares. :)
Not feeling the napkin rings 😅 I feel like it’s not the vibe but I also agree they’re different and have potential to be cute with the right napkins and table accessories.
I loved the look of your table but the napkin rings were too busy in my opinion. Maybe plain wood rings or rings that looked like flowers would have been nicer. Not enamel but maybe wood with aged patina on them. Keep up the good work, sir!!!
Okay totally off topic but after watching your last video i have to ask. I know its july call me crazy but what are your ideas for a Christmas tree cause wont it just blend in with the walls and couch. Lol or maybe one of those 1950s style Aluminum trees??? I just had to ask or at least plant the idea in your mind😊 loving all the content btw🥰
The table looks great. I would however only have kept the cappuccino cup. If you don't know, you know (if you are not sure about something, don't get it) 🙂
I love your style, I love the napkin rings, I love linen, I love everything so much that I wanna live with you, but I'm too far away. That pattern is called tetra. Love from Slovenia. Vanda
