Normally id agree but i understand and agree with the reason why. They want to just go full into the next game and that's definitely the right move, it's a complete new management/343. Infinite and all the stigma from it is leftover from the old 343, not to mention they still have to support 2013 xbox one. Might as well just start fresh
@IxXDOMINATORXxI, exactly 💯 infinite is never gonna get a bigger audience. Everyone has been saying a new halo game would be the best option since like season 3 and 4.
Given that we know it's been in development since the new management took over in 2022 and the way the devs are openly talking about the next game now i think it's very realistic to expect a tease for the game later this year at the xbox event and we could very well see a release holiday next year, that would put it right at the 3 year mark. Halo games used to be 2-3 years between releases before Infinite and Covid came along
My friends and I booted up MCC recently and I just happened to select 4 as an option and as soon as we got a match in 4 we all groaned but after a few minutes we couldn’t stop talking about how good it felt and played. I watched my shots all connect and it felt like a breath of fresh air. That said we have had multiple game nights now just playing 4. We are even enjoying the visuals to an extent. Definitely starting to realize we were way too harsh on 4 back in 2012. It’s my least played halo of all time and that may be changing.
Still think halo 5 offers so muxh more content than halo infinite unfortunately I honestly think warzone would work well on halo infinite but ofc we can't get that...
Definitely not content complete. It's weird, even Halo 5 blunder of a launch finally got complete but still no grifball and infection is still broken in settings, sandbox weapons and vehicles are abysmal, no action sack or multi-team or classic playlists, not Invasion/WZA like mode, aiming is still broken, HUD still needs to be fixed... overall it still need more before it's content/feature complete. Not sure who are the bold ones making that claim.
My biggest concern is all these updates and changes to the games systems going to get thrown away with the next game. The rumors of the next release being in UE5 is what I'm mainly worried about
i just started playing again since release im really impressed with the multiplayer feature wise it's great game modes we all loved but we need a better way to earn more free stuff like in halo 5 we need more playable characters like playable elites also please bring back older halo weapons and abilities it's ridiculous how much weapons that's not in this game it's a slap in the face to og halo fans
I personally never cared about the goofy camos and charms but sometimes the weekly challenge is a really good unique coating. Can we maybe get unique versions of a weapon ?
Sucks because they built this game up to the finest it came be and then abandon it and move on. What's the point of fixing it in the first place? It's like cod for me now, why waste money and time into the game now when a new one is coming out on the horizon?
If they make a new halo game there is one thing they need to do transfer armor unlocks from infinite into the new game bcs ik some of yall spent mad money on the game and i aint tryna pay for reach armor again

Yeah, I can't play this game very long. I'm not sure if I'll reach max rank. I get little weeks of wanting to play, but then I get bored quick. Same for Halo 5.
It was dropped due to issues mainly related to the Xbox One not being able to handle Splitscreen in the campaign (open world), so they chose to scrap finishing development since it was a mess and focused on other projects.
I haven't played Infinite in well over a year. Didn't know anything about the netcode being wonky. I quit because it didn't feel like Halo to me. I'm way too busy in real life to want or try to learn all new guns that they replaced most of the old ones with. MCC is where it's at for my Halo fix these days.
But in fall fairness am still playing infinite to go for the hero rank but I do see a lot of bronze career ranked players so it's still inviting new players to a degree
From launch this game wasn’t wprth playing, they finally had a good track to something and they just threw it away with this announcement. Imagine still buying shop items from this degenerate live service
Well Ok now there is at least content. But de-sync is always there, also the maps are pretty much anonimus, everything it's like "plastic", no new vehicles to this date, only a new weapon.
This game was abysmal from the get go gameplay wise and graphics wise, not to mention one of if not the worst campaign ever. So forgettable with zero cool or epic moments, I remember Halo 3's AA gun assault or killing the prophet on the Ark and stopping Halo. I cant recall anything story wise from Halo Infinite except that they realized they fucked up on Cortana and re-added a new Cortana, like fuck 343 writers, so shit at their job they need to quit writing, a toddler could write a better story. It would also be nice if they didnt hire high schoolers with one basic computer course to program their messy ass game, the codebase is dogshit and optimized terribly and I seriously believe that they must have hired the cheapest coders they could. I can seriously say I'm done with Halo if 343 is at the helm because its a waste of money and the games just piss me off at this point.
personally a fan since halo one and i found infite repetive and broing to play. so for me id like to see halo go back to more of roots and i think they wont so big oof for me
