Yeah I would definitely describe Jackson’s voice as smokey. I tried to find a word for it too when I first heard one of their songs. His voice is actually pretty unique compared to a lot of other k-rappers and it really appealed and stood out to me the first time I heard it. He has one of those voice where if you hear him rapping for the first time you go “who is THAT”. There are lots of idols with deep voices now but his isn’t exactly deep. I would describe it as maybe rough or gravelly? It is deep at times and then other times it’s higher. The one person I can think of off the top of my head who has a similar voice is Felix from Stray Kids. If you want to hear an example of his deeper tone I suggest Teenager by Got7! It’s one of their earlier songs but I still have to say it’s one of my favorites

GOT7 kills me with this video every time. I love Eclipse, but this one... I can't even come up with the words to express how I feel. I can watch this one over and over.

And now to my recommendation, you said many told you their favourite song was NEVER EVER, might be true, but I think many Ahgase will agree when I say that one of the most beloved GOT7 songs is YOU ARE. It’s the first title song written by a group member, I.e. JB, the leader of the group. It has also one of the most aesthetically pleasing MVs of GOT7’s videography, it was shot in Hong Kong, the hometown of Jackson Wang (the dude with the husky voice).

If you are wondering about the story plot. This is actually a part of a trilogy. So yeah there is actually 3 music videos. The first one, FLY, then HARD CARRY and last one this, NEVER EVER. Long story short, Basically the story is about jinyoung (the one laying at the end and suddenly waking up) was going on a trip with the other members but suddenly there was an accident amd their van/airplane (i cant remember) crashed. All of them died except for jinyoung. But he isn't alive either. He is in between. His soul is reluctant to live because he beliefe that living in a life without the the other members will be pointless. But the other dead members souls clearly dont want this and wants him to continue living. So, the souls helped jinyoung soul who is 'drowning' and come back up. So in the end, jinyoung is the only one alive as you could see that in this MV at the end. Hope you understand

But I love all of the songs and they are very talented. Watching the music videos after knowing what's happened is a lot harder now. Especially Fly and Miracle.
