Dear Lord there's always the “OMG this is cruel!!!” lot when it doesn't take much noggin to see otherwise. Horses are one of the best, most playful creatures and this is a typically daft giddy excited horse having a mad about. If he wasn't up for it or generally wanted out he'd have skipped out and taken himself right over the far side. Even if he were cornered and didn't want any of it you can be sure his entire body language would be totally different. Bounds towards the person leaning on the gate then after she claps and waves her hands, he turns, does a huge playful leap / buck and goes back again a few times. Doesn't run off scared or unsure or wanting out he's just playing. When the lass goes in to clip on a rope he's totally at ease and happy with her approaching and catching him - scared horses don't do that. Not enough people play with their horses and it's a real shame too. We do a lot of playing and being daft - giant exercise / yoga balls are much cheaper than jolly balls and last a lot longer too. Grab a few big yoga balls and inflatables and take them in with you next time I bet he goes apeshit :)

Your facilities are really beautiful. The structure and materials of the indoor arena, the inside of the barn with its generous stalls and clear light, are all really remarkable. 👍
