I am a new (full-time) reseller, 9 Months in the business. I have bought and sold on ebay to support hobbies for 20 years. My first 6 months of reselling, I clearly got out of eBay and Poshmark what I put in. I have steady conservative goals and I was meeting them. Starting in early February I started to fall behind my expected sales projections. I am trying to double my efforts and list through the sales drought, confident that the work to list items is money in the bank. That said I am definitely nervous over the duration of my current eBay slowdown. I have loved going to yard sales since I was able to make change. This year I am more excited than ever. I am more excited than I was in 2003 when I could fill my SUV with Video Games in a morning. I know more about more things than I ever have, and I definitely owe it all to the handful of resellers I've been following on RU-vid. I only paid attention to the telephone booth. My dad worked for ma bell, at&t, mountain bell, sw bell, etc. We had a telephone booth like that growing up. Such fond memories of the telephone booth ❤

I think it's common with older tape players that when they chew tapes, that they have dirty rubber rollers, which can be cleaned pretty easily. I use white spirit or methylated spirits and a cotton bud for that, and then a dry cotton bud after to make sure they're clean and dry.

Pete, I hear you man, the weather is crazy. I'm in California, Sunday back to cold again but Thursday and Friday was warm high 70's. Going Into March the weather outlook it's going to mid 50's day's and 30's during the night. Cold. I don't mind though sure beats those dame hot days we will get. I just pray it not real soon. I'll take the cold weather. When you have heart problems stay away from extreme heat. Killer.

That Frigidaire sign is uber cool. I had an Ultraclean washer in my first house. That model has the agitator that goes up and down. That all in one stereo, with the tape player not working, should be sold for parts as well. I would not go higher that 50 (Buying) knowing it is not working correctly....P.S. That Frigidaire logo from what I can find was 1960-1976. Prior to 1960, GM had a major stake in it as well.

I used to buy tube amps and radios in the early '80s-'90s for peanuts and make guitar amps and pre-amps from them, I wish I had kept some of them as they were good looking radios, no one wanted them despite the audio quality being better than the modern ones.

So I don't know about that particular coin bank, but I remember hearing that some banke would give things like this away without keys to kids so they could fill them up and bring them back to start a savings account.
