Great review. My son and I ate here in June when we stayed at the Swan. We did not have the pizza but after seeing this we're going to have to give that a try. It definitely looked like the best pizza in Disney.

I don’t know how it’s possible, but I’d swear I’ve never even HEARD of Il Mulino! 😱 And that’s a shame, because it looked like you guys had an absolutely incredible meal. I can’t believe that the first plate was complimentary - you were right to be excited, Sam! And who would have thought that the Margherita Pizza at a Swan and Dolphin restaurant would be a dark horse in the ‘best pizza on property’ contest 👀 I am also a chicken parm fan. It is an Italian staple, for sure, but like many Italian staples it is a very sauce-reliant dish! That cheesecake did look absolutely mouthwatering too 🤤 And complimentary limoncello too!? This is the most magical meal on earth ✨ Great video guys, definitely adding this spot to our bucket list.
I am always pumped for complimentary food, considering how much we spend at these places LOL I truly wasn't expecting this place to exceed my expectations. The staff here is also top notch- I've noticed that all the restaurants in the Marriot owned hotels are top notch. Thanks for watching :)
SO excited to see you went to Il Mulino!! Sam when you took your first bite of pizza! It cut to an advertisement... I was like omg is it her favorite or not!! Glad it was! I just love your reviews. The meal looked lovely and now I want to go there lol. We have a reservation for Via Napoli our first full day next month but after this I am genuinely thinking of doing Il Mulino our arrival night. Every video I watch I tell my husband.. Jay and Sam went to... I want to go there now lol.
Il Mulino set the bar very high and we were really impressed. I finally got the pizza I've been looking for around these parts. The service was impeccable! Via Napoli is still a great option but Il Mulino was definitely more upscale and authentic- but also pricey!! Thanks so much for watching Lisa :)
We live in Soprano country in New Jersey and agree completely; Il Mulino is by far the best and most authentic Italian restaurant at Disney. If you’re looking for superb charcuterie look no further than the Dahlia Lounge at the Coronado.
We love Dahlia Lounge!!! We have heard that Ravello at the Four Seasons might be better and we are trying it out soon :) but agree at this point Il Mulino has been the best!

We eat Italian food about 4 times a week consistently. We are great Italian food chefs but like to go out also. Thanks for the review. That place looks amazing. Gotta try it when we come down next month.
We envy your diet! We're also Italian and grew up eating Italian food. I don't think this is the best ever but the best we've had in Disney. We'll be hopefully trying a few mors Italian spots out down here soon. The appetizers are definitely what impressed us most. Sauce was great too. Hope to hear your thoughts if you end up here and that you have the best time on your trip 🙂.

That review drove me crazy - I've wanted to jump on a plane and go to that place I adore N Y C Italian restaurants - I'm half Italian after all - but haven't been to IL Mulino - I might be there in November and need to try it Rosa Mexicano is my favorite Mexican restaurant in NYC - I've told you that before I wanted everything you got aside from gnocchi - but that's not one of my favorite dishes anyway Btw Tutto Italia is a half step above Olive Garden. - I thought it was awful I'm flying out to your coast tonight - two weeks in Toronto, Niagara and the Shaw and Stratford theatre festivals Hope you're loving this Autumnal weather as much as I am Sending lots of love Jon
Sounds like you have a sweet east coast itinerary lined up! This place was great but we'd love to try the original in NYC. Crazy how many notable NY establishments are at the Swan and Dolphin now with Rosa Mexicano and Il Mulino. We loved both spots. Hard to pick a favorite 😆. Happy we could bring a taste of this experience to you 🙂 and thanks so much for your support. Autumn is hot and rainy over here but that good Florida weather is on its way. I've heard nothing but mediocre things about Tutto Italia 😆. I feel like I need to give it a shot in good faith. Hope you have the best time at the festivals 🙂.

never stayed there cause of the small rooms id like to cause its very nice resort.😀now thats what a call a charcutier 🥰🥰i would get that in heartbeat the pizza looks worthy im a picky pizza eater 🍕🍕i need to eat here 🙌🏻
Didn't know the rooms were small. We've wanted to stay here but keep getting sucked into different Disney hotels. Definitely recommend both the charcuterie and pizza! Best we've had in Disney 🙂.
My meal there was just meh but I am open to giving it another try. I did love that you could order a half order of pasta -- that let us try more. Lots of people love it so I imagine it was an off night and/or we didn't order well. I'd describe Tutto Italia in EPCOT as meh to fine as well (Gusto is the wine bar that is currently just extra seating for the restaurant). I'd put Ravello over at Four Seasons on your list to try. I've also heard good things about La Luce in the Bonnett Creek resort area and BiCE over at Universal.
We have heard mixed reviews and the menu has changed here a few times. I will say, the appetizers are what we liked most. Sam's entree was great but the gnocchi was just okay. We've had some meh Italian food experiences at Disney so I think competitively this impressed us. Thanks for the suggestions! My Dad loves Bice and Ravello is definitely on our list. We appreciate your insight 🙂.
The prices here were up there. I don't mind much if I'm at a resort and the food is good but I agree, chicken needs to come with pasta at an Italian Restaurant. I may have glosssd over that in my mind though because they did give us a lot of free offerings with the meal. Overall for what I paid and how much I got, combined with the quality, I think this was worth it. However, if you just got chicken parm I can definitely see being disappointed.
We joke to eachother that the star of the vlog is the screaming kid. There's always one in every video 😆. Can't escape them in Disney. Still had a great meal though 🙂 and the pizza was great!
This restaurant is a little more upscale and has a dress code/higher prices. Wolfgang Puck is very good though, we had our wedding rehearsal dinner there. Il Mulino is all Italian food, Wolfgang has more Americanized options.
That margherita pizza is not a margherita pizza, and the bottom of the crust is overcooked, if not burnt. If you think that is good pizza, you have probably never left Florida. Also, "pollo" in Italian is not pronounced the same way as it is in Spanish.
I lived in NY for over 30 years and have been in Florida for less than 2, this pizza is 90% than the others we've had in Florida. Thanks for the pronunciation tip!
