Just shows, you can buy new panels but you still have to do metal work on them and when making show vehicles, nice panel gaps is a must. Great job by the team and like the engine bay style. Like the GMG logo too. 👍from the UK guys
Ever since I was a little lad I've loved hot rods and custom vehicles in their finished state but know next to nothing about the process getting them there. I have been thoroughly enjoying watching your very talented crew build this truck and dare I say maybe even being educated a little as well. Definitely a lot more indepth fab work this episode.... the first in this series really did come off as "hey lets buy a complete chassis completed engine and body and slap em all together and put our branding on it"
I have the fast and loud box set so obviously I’m a fan but I have to be honest and say these RU-vid series are better then the tv show fast and loud it seem so much more real and honest keep up the good work

I have never had a dream truck, but I'm thinking this one might just be my first. I LOVE the smooth firewall look on vehicles. Can't wait to see this thing completed.
I really don’t like any car or truck being lowered from its’ original ride height. I feel it’s not for me. If y’all want a ride THAT low to the ground…go on out & buy yourself a skateboard!! It looks different. I personal don’t want to state that it looks tasteless and tacky lowered like that…but you call an orange…it’s an orange….🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
Bad truck, love it. Since you Gas Monkeys aren't no pussycats and Rich is probably going to wheel this hard, that tank might need another look. They really like a lot more support under the flanges, since they're designed to drop in on top of the mounting points unless they have straps, too.

It’s wild to see 3D cam shoot technology being used in automotive builds. We’ve used them in aerospace for decades but to see it here is a testament to technology and how it grants accessibility.

I was thinking exactly the same thing. "Did we mine the ore to forge the steel to make the sheet metal..."? It's a ridiculous slippery slope. OK, I don't particularly agree with getting rid of the stepside bed, but hey that's to your own taste; but anyone who doubts the skill required to get all this stuff to work together clearly doesn't know what they're talking about. Bought and and put all together. Is not what you do normal. People come to you for your crazy builds and your personal touch on it and that is what we miss. But in The end is your shop and Ho cares what another people say. Sometimes you need to donor difrend. But for sema build you have to do what you always do and Build it your self from scratch
I guess my main problem with the build is that they only used the cab from a '68. It's not bolt on since there isn't any of the original truck to bolt anything on to. Is it going to be cool? Sure. Love that body style. Is it a '68? Yes and no since the VAST majority of parts are new so it's actually a 2023 built in the style of a '68. It's still great to see something come together and it takes knowledge and skill to do what the Monkey's are doing. I think it's cool that all these body panels and chassis are available so if you had a cab in great shape, you could build your own provided you had the tools and skills.

Why haven't I seen "Using Throttle-Bodies in place of Carbs." before? 🤔 It's so simple an idea, that I can't believe that no-one else has thought of it before, unless it's a recent Holley development, & they are going to reveal it at SEMA?
My issue is that, Ya bought a hole C10 and only used the cab...I think. I like the look of a stepside myself. As for the build itself, Not a fan of frame-draggers, never saw the point of them, never liked the look of them. I can appreciate the work, just not a fan of the build.

I've never owned a truck just to own a truck. A truck has a function and is a tool. Slamming them on the ground and, basically, turning them into big UTEs never made sense to me. That and cleaning out the ground effects on curbs. I'm old school I guess. My 1 ton dually has many functions including plowing snow.
Hey, those truck have not been made in 50 years and to find panels without rust is impossible, Do what you do best and to hell with those critics because they are not paying for it and they are just jealous GMG Rocks

Well Richard your question built or bought???? I have been building cars and trucks since I was 12 years old.. everyone has their own style, this is compiled of how big your wallet is, and the cars that you have access to start with, and your personal skill level even the parts available to you, and the tools and workshops machines. After 41 years of building all types of road and off road vehicles, I have one thing on my bucket list and that is to build a tank.. maybe a Abraham's.. You and all your skilled people that work for you.. build these one of a kind vehicles.. your deep pockets put you in a place where you are physically buying alot of your parts. This doesn't mean that you go to auctions and buying them already built. If I knew what I know now 30 years ago maybe I would be in your position. I love your GMG everlution over time. Are you .George barris no. Are you Dennis Collins, no, there are millions of great builders out there, and you are just one of the famous ones. ❤❤❤ I enjoy your entertainment on the shows, with or without a network..
I realize a lot of people were talking crap about them buying the body parts and you gotta keep in mind. They only had a couple months to build all this three vehicles. It’s not like they had six months or a year to do the build
