GEAR, GRUB, OR FUN? Look to your left.. what do you see? Is it gear? Is it grub? Or is it fun? Well that's what we DID. We took a variety of different items and questioned whether they were gear, grub, or fun! Just like the splatfest! This is a little different from what we usually do but it sure was great!

Now that I think about it, isn’t grub technically gear? If “gear” counts as something you’d bring for survival, then wouldn’t food fall into that category due to it being necessary to stay alive?

A written book on survival things is both gear AND fun. it's entertainment as well as teaching you how to survive your situation. it also can be used as kindling for starting fires. a unwritten book, with a pensil or pen is still gear and fun as there's more you can do with it.

gear is the correct option due to gear typically allowing you to GET grub and cook grub and you dont need fun you're on a deserted island you need to survive
