I agree with you honestly but to an extent. Like I thought it was absolutely ridiculous for people to protest for an Islamic state when they moved to the west😭😭. I always thought that that was so wrong and especially seeing how it is in other countries America has a lot of opportunities. But in regards to places like France where the rules have gone so far as banning hijabs and even long dresses in schools for the sake of “freedom” is also ridiculous. How can they say they support freedom but then force people to undress?? They are a secular country but they target Muslims and tell them to leave the country if they don’t want to undress sometimes. And the Muslims there don’t try to protest for an Islamic state like how you were talking about they just want to cover…

I'm also not a full time niqabi right now. I don't wear it at work, I wear half niqab when I leave for work or full when I am out for personal work. It gives so much courage and you become even more comfortable Alhamdulillah. But I truly believe moving out or living in a Muslim majority area helps to practice and uphold the values because you don't have to explain yourself to everyone for everything.

Every family and every person experiences things differently. For me, I won't say I was forced into wearing hijab(because I wanted to wear niqab, I had no objections. I knew I had to wear it someday.It was just that I wasn't ready when my mum made me wear it.) Like imagine you have to be married someday and boom your parents find a potential partner and say you gotta marry him tonight. No one would be ready for such a sudden change right? Similarly was hijab for me. It came upon me on a random day when I least expected it. I remember the first day I wore it I had trouble in breathing(because I have dust allergy) and I would triple down the road. I wear it now for Allah ta'ala because I have started to know it's importance. If someone would question me today to not wear it, I would refuse. Because now it's my self will to wear it but the way a child in many area is forced to wear it...that is wrong. Children ought to will start hating Islam if they are not taught stuffs but rather enforced to follow without questioning...

sis, i honestly disagree with the idea of this respect matter. i don’t think you mean it in a bad way, in a way where we’re subdued, but this way of wording it doesn’t align with our ‘aqīdah, in my humble opinion, and Allāh knows best. we dissociate from the non-Muslims in any way, and if there is a non-Muslim who does not fight this religion and treats us properly, then we treat them properly. i think this is just a matter of wording or perspective, but i honestly never go out with my niqāb with the intention of this ‘respecting the land’ matter. i simply believe that i am a muslimah and i wear this clothing in obedience to my Lord and i am patient on anything that may befall me, although i do acknowledge that in certain lands of disbelief there may be less harm than in others, as you mentioned. also, many of us don’t really have the choice to simply leave sis, and many of us are heartbroken as we really would like to leave and cannot. many don’t have the financial or logistic means or simply we were born into families who want to stay in the west and have no intention of leaving. بارك الله فيكِ

I couldn't agree more in terms of your point on when muslims go protesting demanding the kuffar to act in lign with our islamic values in ways which are very silly, and not the way to do it. If we scream khaleefah from the top of our lungs, then of course this will scare them away even more. Although there is truth in the statement, it's the methodology that is wrong here. These traits, in reality, stem from the khawarij, and many of the scholars have already talked about this in much detail, but unfortunately many fail to realise this and are driven by their emotions when it comes to this. What's funny about this protest thing is that the concept of protesting within itself is something that is certainly not found in the islamic state, because our religion teaches us the idea of hearing and obeying the ruler (unless it is something haram), whereas protesting originally is a democratic act and the ways of the western society - which the muslims have now adopted. These are the same muslims who call for khalifah, but when protesting they are using a method of the kufar. How ironic is it not? And for anyone thinking that the sister doesn't have bara' for the religion because of some of her praises for the west in the video, then she is merely mentioning the favor which Allah bestowed upon her in the west and that He made things easy for her, in terms of being able to practise freely. We hate kufr, and the legislation for other than Allah always, and hope to make hijrah one day inshaa'Allah. Is it better that you live under a rule which tells you: do what you want, or to live under one that restricts you and makes it difficult to fulfill even your obligations as a muslim?
