Hello Bro, If your freind a Malaysian citizen, the rules might be different. The Indian government generally imposes restrictions on the amount of gold non-residents can bring into the country. However, specific details can change, so it's important to check with the Indian customs authority for the most up-to-date information, sorry bro, if i know more detais will share here

Hi Bro... How much MYR Currency.. We can bring from India while traveling to Malaysia. Is ther any limitation?
@NikiandBhavi
@NikiandBhavi Год назад
I don’t know exact but, I can provide general information, but it's always recommended to consult with the relevant authorities or check with the airline you're traveling with for the most accurate and up-to-date information on currency restrictions. When it comes to carrying Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) while traveling from India to Malaysia by flight, there are certain limits and regulations to consider. Here are some general guidelines: 1. Currency Declaration: If you are carrying more than the equivalent of USD 5,000 (in any currency) or MYR 10,000 (in Malaysian Ringgit), you are required to declare the amount to the customs authorities upon arrival in Malaysia. 2. Currency Import Regulations: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has restrictions on the amount of Indian Rupees (INR) that can be taken out of India. As of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, the limit for Indian residents traveling to Malaysia was INR 25,000 per person. It's advisable to check with the RBI or authorized financial institutions for the most recent guidelines. 3. Local Currency Exchange: It's generally recommended to carry a small amount of MYR for immediate expenses upon arrival in Malaysia. You can exchange Indian Rupees to Malaysian Ringgit at authorized currency exchange counters in airports, banks, or currency exchange services.

Hi bro , Yes, as a tourist, you are allowed to bring gold to India from Malaysia as long as you declare it at the customs office upon arrival in India. However, there are certain restrictions on the amount of gold that you can bring into India without paying customs duty. As per the Indian government regulations, male passengers can carry up to value of 50k of gold jewelry and female passengers can carry up to value of 1L of gold jewelry without paying customs duty. Any gold in excess of this limit will be subject to customs duty, which is currently set at 12.5% of the value of the gold. It is important to note that the rules and regulations regarding the import of gold can vary depending on the specific circumstances, so it's a good idea to check with the customs office on the description mentions URL for more details
