I erased several times the ECM error, but after 2 minutes come back again. now that I get more practice on remove and put back the EGR in place in, let say half hour, ah ah aha , so I'll clean every 50k kilometers and it is fine form me. so let it how is done by the factory.
Boss tanong lang. Pwede sa toyota hilux conquest 2019 2.4 GD engine magpa egr delete? Malapit na kasi ako magpa egr cleaning kasi almost 80k kms na tinakbo plano ko na nasa 100k kms na magpalinis. Tapos yung shop na plano ko dun palinisan sina suggest sakin magpa egr delete nadaw ako pero nag da doubt ako. Ano pros and cons nyan boss and maganda ba sya sa daily drive lalo na sa city? EGR delete advantages: 1. Fuel efficient daily use 2. Improve acceleration performance 3. Cleaner intake manifold (decrease carbon deposits) good for the engine 4. Decrease black smoke emissions(PM) EGR delete disadvantages: 1. Increase Nox emissions (not good for the environment) 2. Slightly higher engine temperature

Ung unit na nabili ko boss eh naka egr blanking na dati. Diko naman alam eh pinalinis ko ung trottle body at dinaman sinabi ng mekaniko. Pero ayos naman hanggang ngayon. Mahigit 2 years na sa akin
thanks a lot for your video. I just inserted the blanking plate on my d-max 2009 euro 4 engine. but after 10 km the engine light swithc on and the car don not go faster than 85 km/h. the scan give to me error P0401 and p0139. seem that the engine computer knows that the egr valve is not opening and act in conseguece. I will put back the EGR vaalve in original conditions and see what appens. thanks.
@@armansretunedgarage Just removed the blanking gasket, error disepear and car now is running great. reading my 6000 pages workshop manual i discovere as follow: whe the ECM sent the signal to the EGR valve to open, in the same time is expexting from the O2 sensor less oxigen reading. this is not the case when the EGR is isolated, then the ECM assumes that something is wrong and and the RPM are reduced. so from euro 4 on, the blanking of EGR is not possible, unless some parameters are changed in the ECM, but this is another story

4JJ1 sa akin boss. Nung pinalinis ko trottle body nya dun na po nagpakita ung check engine pero sabi ng casa ok lng wala daw masisira. Nablanking naman daw baka kailangan lang ulit ng egr delete. Please advice. Thanks po

The EGR valve position is detected by the position sensor, and relayed to the ECM. If the ECM detects a variance between the actual EGR valve position and desired EGR valve position for a calibrated amount of time while the EGR valve is commanded ON, this DTC will set.
Egr (exhaust gas recirculation) - used to recirculate part of exhaust gas back to the engine intake and to the combustion chamber creating an incomplete combustion to lower the combustion temperature thus lowering the "Nitrogen monoxide emission". But the (PM) particulate matter emission will increase , a black smoke emission.

Yes absolutely dahil pina pababa po ng EGR system ang Combustion temperature at a certain ( engine speed, engine temperature and throttle opening). Thus lowering the effective combustion pressure
