Cant compare European soccer fans to fans in any sport in north America. Ultras (as they are called) is a way of life. They have massive sway over the clubs they support. They are very organized. They are also very politically motivated as well. Its nothing like sunday afternoon tailgaiters who just drink, puke and go home. For ultras their club is their life. Its who they are. Lots are willing to literally die for their club if the situation calls for it.
There's a big difference between NCAA football, and NFL. NFL players are payed. Not collage. These are just a few videos. I went to a buccaneers game against the raiders. Dude got stabbed for waring a raiders jersey. Them rivalry game's thow. Buccaneers vs saints, notre dame vs michigan, Exedra. I can't say much for soccer. I think it's boaring.
