the non action on draisaital is the league protecting the product. if it was desharnais or carrick he's be sitting a game. you guys cover this league better than anybody. game analysis is insightful and informative. thank you.

its the fact of the action, its not bc Barkov can play or not play, to determine for suspension or bc its the playoffs. you really open yourself for payback against other "star players" like #97 without suspension. hit: left his feet, elbow direct contact to head, low to high, picture perfect of what the league "doesnt want"

If Edmonton loses tomorrow, its over for them. Florida is just such a good team, they're built for this. Edmonton doesnt have the depth or d or goal tending just yet

spot on analysis.... I'm a Panther's Fan and work ethic and "consistency" has been such a huge part of the Cat's success.... They are very good at keeping their set pace and the pressure on their opponents... You don't really see them flat, or easing up... I don't fault the Oilers Goalie either... If the Oilers want to claw back into this series, they might want to be physical throughout the game to force some opportunities --- not just retaliatory hits or out of frustration..

Florida has been fantastic overall defensively but McDavid is still absolutely as good as his usual self it’s just that he hasn’t been able to produce because of how ridiculously good Bob has been.

Only McDavid himself can shut down McDavid, no one else can do it on this planet. Florida knows that too. All they need is to try and LIMIT his chances so he has to try to make those long cross-ice passes wich Florida easily intercepts. Panthers defend so well the net front that so far, it has been suprisingly easy work. He will get some looks anyways because the skill level he has but then there is Bob who takes over. This series has so far shown the same fact that has been around that team for year after year - they live and die because of their power play.

PoMo coached the Jets to a sweep of the Oilers. Drais should have been suspended, but I won’t be hard on him since he’ll be wearing a Bruins jersey next season. Maybe, he can punch Barkov’s jaw in next year in the brawl we owe them.
