I’m sorry if you realise it later in the video but in mushroom houses you can actually play it yourself, if you groundpound the other player it automatically gives you the turn

If I remember corretly, you can steal other players' turn by ground-pounding them in the mushrom house minigame.

This is literally the Rescue Toad missions in this game.... ....Except you have to do it in every level, and you don't have to search for the correct question block and you don't get rewarded for doing this

There is so much problems when ur holding up button THATS when u go on the vine, the cannon has to have both players go in it or else it will never launch, u can use a spin attack to spew out fireballs, and u can ground pound luigi to take his turn in the mushroom house. like this so nico can know for future videos :)

When you did the panel where you get power ups they give you the players turns, but if you ground pound on the person's head it will be your turn and just so that so then it's your turn
