Just what I was thinking. It may be necessary to put it back in the freezer, to avoid water leaking after the fresh coating. Don't know if Never Wet works at those temperatures, though...

It's pretty obvious what would happen. Go buy your own damn Never-Wet and do it yourself. No need to waste his time at and ours with a pointless experiment.

The spray needs to be at 65 degrees in order to work. It also needs time for the chemical reaction to take place. Spraying it on ice will instantly freeze it and not allow the chemical reaction to take place. Anything under 65 degrees will negate the chemical process, per the instructions on the can. Spraying it on ice will be a pointless experiment.

My theory before watching this is that the water and the water resistant spray are going to act like water and oil would. Edit: I was wrong. But still you technically didn't make it water proof. Its just covered. That would be if I put water in a clear balloon and then poured water on top of it saying that it's water proof. I like the idea tho but I don't think it's possible to make water water resistant since they are the same substance.

Because you never left the past. Think about it, if you travel from city A to city B then you would no longer be in city A but when we go from the past to the present, we're still there in the past. People often say we travel through time but we don't, we exist through time like a string or worm. What we imagine in sci-fi as time travel would be cutting that string or worm and moving the cut piece.

So... It didn't water proof it. It just put a layer over top. It's like someone saying they want to get mosquito repellent to keep mosquitos to stop biting them, but the other person says they'll put spray on them but just puts more clothing to keep them from biting them. So it works, just not in the way we thought

Technically, the fire retardant FM-200 is a propane, it's the mixture with oxygen that determines if it'll burn hence computer rooms using the fire retardant must be airtight and sized so the mixture is not flammable. Likewise, gasoline / petrol is fireproof under many fuel air ratios, there's just more fuel air ratios where I's flammable. So yes, petrol can be fireproof.

"If you're wondering" and "I guess" do not mix well, like this stuff and water. It is thicker at the edge because it is hydrophobic and the only bonding surface it has is the plastic container. Also as you spray, it has a higher concentration around the edge because it is slightly enclosed. Just as if you had an empty container and regular spray paint, the edge of the horizontal base and vertical walls would have the thickest paint.😉
