Clay you have helped me come through the last 10 months since my bf & I mutually split up. +Sandy Sawyer Out of curiosity, did your ex get into a rebound relationship? Mine just jumped ship and is with another woman. But he has not even attempted to contact me. I think I pushed too much over the past month and a half. He said for me to just move on, go live my life and he wants nothing to do with me. Also added he doesn't love, miss or are care for me anymore. Am I one of the cases where there is no hope? We were together for 3 years, were engaged and had our whole future planned. He seem serious and is very cold. Only contacted me because I was trying to messaging him too much. Am just so upset and distraught :(

Oh ya just be cool w them and be like friend to them until they find someone else and your gone anyway. Or set your terms and walk away. Your lying to yourself if your trying to be friends cuz its not a friendship. I've been trying this guys way fir three months and have gotten nowhere. It has only been when I didn't pursue that I saw a change in her behavior towards me. If your nice and there to listen and be authentically caring but her attraction level has dropped shell just keep using you until she finds some dumbass and you'll be out fir good.

He said nothing directly to me, but I know he listened to every word because some things came out in his opening prayer. His sincerity put tears in my eyes. I sense he still cares deeply, but I had hurt him deeply. So, it's going to take time. I want our friendship restored. He's a good person and I am a good woman. What happens beyond that, in the future, is up to our God.

I would agree with you that reconciliation may take some moment as both of you have to go through the phase of acceptance. It's truly possible that your friendship will be restored. Ex and I were together 9 years. Throughout these 9 years we were great, except for the last 8 months. I developed social anxiety (It’s gone now that we broke up and got out of my comfort zone - 2 months) and I stopped going out with her and kept saying no to her when she asked me to go out. It was pretty consistent. If i did go out, I would make a fuss. Also, we basically only saw each other on Sunday, watch the walking dead and I’d try for sex, didn’t work and I would be grumpy the rest of the night like a little bitch. I found out she kissed another guy (a month before we broke up), she said it was only a kiss and it was mutual. I have done no contact. I reached out to her. The first 2 texts I did were great! It was real positive vibes. The third started off great but it kind of went to shit because I just pushing the conversation. (I fucked up). The fourth was about a week ago and I just wished her a safe trip to the USA for an engagement party, I was also invited but I met up with the couple getting engaged and gave them a gift explaining how I don’t want to make her feel awkward. The conversation went well between my ex and I , the last thing she wrote was ( Thanks! That nice of you! ) Also, towards the end of our relationship, we basically relied on text…So I need a way to get her to see me or get her on the phone to go on a date. A fun date, I was thinking surfing. We never tried it and it will be fun and keep us away from talking about the relationship. I don’t know what to do. I know she is the one, and I fucked up for months… I lost the girl of my life. another thing, I was her first everything. First kiss, first holding hands, sex.. everything. I don’t know what to do…. she hasn’t initiated contact once…. please help.

What about when she says " there will never be another us..." How do i approach talking to her after ANC without it coming across as though im trying to get her back straight away. As well as having so many roadblocks in the way (her friends). She also says that i need to stop caring about her. She will pick that up easily.
