I think it matters on how humid your environment is. My hair is soft and straight and doesn't hold a curl very well. The Midwest humidity just makes everything drop immediately. No matter the hairspray. So with hair that tends to be frizzy, it's a God send because it seals out the water from penetrating the hair cuticle.
Hi Shani! That’s awesome, I’m glad you’ve found something that works for you! My hair is not terribly frizzy so it was hard for me to tell if worked for that. But I did love how it made my hair look shiny and smooth.
Color wow products are amazing if they are used correctly !!! Your hair is super dry not that frizzy and it won’t do anything for short breakage at your roots ! As a stylist this products works wonders again if used correctly ! 🤘🏻
Hi Selena! I think I mention in the video that my hair is not that frizzy, but I still wanted to test this product out. Other than that, I feel like I used the product correctly. If you have any suggestions on how I can use it differently, please let me know. Also, if you have any recommendations for dryness, I’d love to know and give them a try! Thanks for your comment! ❤️
@@27caudillos Hi Selena, may I ask you if this product will work if I put it on wet hair, without blow-drying (because I let my hair dry on its own), but just by using the heat of my hair straightener when I straighten it, after it finally dries ?
@@seva-3628 hi I'm not a hair specialist or anything but I can assure you that you can use it on dry hair. No need for the extra heat as the people behind color wow suggested to add heat if you want it to last more or to style your hair more professionally. Also, Someone used it on damp hair and said that it wasn't a good idea to do that. I hope this helps
If you look at Chris appletons video, you would see how to use it properly. When using the revlon brush dryer you should use it brushing your hair on top, not underneath your sections as you did, you actually were making the cuticle stand up as the heat was blowing up through the hair rather than downwards.
Hi Paige! Yes, you can use this with a regular blow dryer and round brush. You just need dryer heat to activate the product. And it works best if you blow dry each section using tension. Hope this helps! xoxo
As someone who has needed to get regular salon professional Keratin and or Botox hair treatments, let me say that first this product seems more aimed at people with my kind of hair texture. The type of hair that turns into cotton candy under any humidity or sweaty activity. Your hair seems more on the straight side. Second, as someone who has been straightening their hair all their life (both at home and professionally) I have to point out that that's not the proper way to blow dry your hair straight. You have to add the tension right from the beginning. Don't let your hair get 90% dry before drying it in sections. You don't seem to need this product.
@@jerryfleming3339 it was still shiny when I used a straightening brush. But going over it with the flat iron really makes a difference with the shine and frizz!
