I love how sting has always been a bit of a father figure to other younger wrestlers in the business. Even now he doesn’t wrestle regularly, but he still has his hands in helping other wrestlers succeed. Such an incredible human and a legend.

The look on Stings face as Jeff walked away, was the face of shock, heart break, and disbelief. This was a hard moment for fans. And the thought of moving forward, and not knowing if Jeff would ever be back, would have been one hard pill to swallow.

Growing up watching Sting and Jeff Hardy this is one of the hardest things ive ever watched. Sting played such a good role as a big brother to Jeff.

Honestly when I heard this back in 2013, because I'm a massive Jeff Hardy fan just as I'm a massive Sting fan, and because I was fairly young then still: I quite honestly thought that Jeff had quit there and then. So I was really happy when he came back as Willow.

since Jeff can't enter the UK because of his previous conviction, TNA has to find ways to write him off the shows every time they do the UK tour: last year Hardy "got injured" by Aces & 8s; this year they couldn't put on the same angle so he quits for a while saying he's sick of politics

Hardy isn't putting the boots up. He signed a long term deal last year. He can't legally go to the UK so this was their way of writing him off and having a Brit hold the title gives people reason to go sell out arenas. TNA will survive as long as Jeff Hardy's face is on the official roster. Hate to break it to the haters in 2007 people said TNA would die in 2 years, in 2009 they said TNA would die in 2 years, 2011 they said TNA would die in 2 years and now they're back saying it'll die in 2 years. Keep dreaming guys.
