Hey man, can you make a season 8 resto sham pvp guide in near future? I am confused what to gear as everyone on armory seems to have completely different gear and stats they go for. Love your stuff
Hey mate i would really make one because a lot of people asked me to do that. Case is that, i never liked Resto shaman as class, so i havent really played that class that much and im really not competent to make any kind of guide for it. Thats only class i really dont know anything about 😅
Well, its all about someones preferences i guess. Damage is higher but as you say Elemental doesnt depend that much on haste like for example Arcane mage. So if you go full pve and you have BL you cast times will be too low on Lava and Chain.. but you will be really easy target for everyone(including myself rogue that literally oneshots them xd). I would say full pvp build with full offset pve is the best for bgs 😏
So litterally just 5/5 wrathfull and maybe neck pvp all others pve? U can check my Shamy called ZLK i play in bgs with 1220 resil i just have wrist rings rs trinket and weapons pve got 680 haste but i struggle so hard about gear im Bg cuz i feel onehit when i go under 1200resil
@nibbai I wonder are you using special mouse? because I think you are not clicking spells. Its like all buttons on keyboard or on mouse? what is your keyboard and mouse brand? can you make video about how do you use buttons?
@@freelybia8911 Rogues are not too bad if you’re fully geared and using the right totems. The trick is to have at least 8% hit, or you’re going to miss everything on them. Really, the only thing I struggle with are DKs, but I’m only 1900 in arenas so idk. Mages can be tricky, just gotta attempt to keep a distance, spam purge them and shock them and either fake cast the counter spell, or wind sheer and hex them. Best to keep moving away from them.
@@freelybia8911 It's not really 1v1 though, is it, so I'm not sure about the comparison? You always match yourself up with someone you have good synergy with. for example, I rarely die to Rogues because I have another player on my team that helps me deal with them. For 2s, I have a macro setup to trinket, Gift of the Naaru, Stoneclaw, and flame shock the Rogue all in 1 GDC, then the second GDC the macro drops a Stonskin totem. Even if they kill cleansing totem and have a healing reduction on me, that's a 7k heal/shield, with a 3% damage reduction from Stoneskin totem, and 36% from talent reductions. On top of that lightning shield for the Rogue opener and Flame Shock hitting the Rogue, then the Rogue ends up dying faster than I do when my partner's sap ends.
So if I am correct you don't use pvp gear on your char? Do you also play Enhancement tho? I am Shaman lover, but got tired about being slapped so easy.. I must say not pro pvp'er tho
Hey mate this is just fun video, if u want burst u can go full pve but its not recommended if u want to fight isolated sometimes. Every class will smack you. Enhancement shaman is NEVER played in pve gear its one of the worst specs for pve gear
Depends of what kind of pvp you play. You can use just PVE gear if you want to burst in battlegrounds from big groups. All other kind of pvp u need pvp gear instead. PvP/PvE combination is the best choice because if you go full pvp you will lack damage output. If you go full PVE you will be paper that can be one shotted. Shadow priest needs some nice amount of resilience unless you play BGS to top charts with DMG numbers with full pve gear. You can find BIS items for each class of pvp on internet. Some of specs need more pve items some less.
hey but shaman are not competent in any situation? if u have skills and know the right moment to put totems , and use all skills u are a viable in 1v1 fights? i thinks ele shamns have a easy rotations but hard master, tell me your opinion and if you can make a duels video will be great, thankss
Its very hard to play shaman properly in 1v1. You are right rotation is easy, but proper way of using totems and when to go defensive when offensive where kiting play a huge role. One of the hardest spec for 1v1 because it lacks CC and Defensive spells
@@NibbaiWotlk You're headed in the right direction though when you say kiting plays a huge role. I feel so proud when my arena partner is impressed with my kiting. In 1v1s that surely seem like losses, kiting mages and DKs as Enhance hahaha. You can very quickly, as a Shaman, create a roughly 100% movement speed difference between your enemy and you with Earthbind+Ghost Wolf, not to mention Frost Shock when space is created, Frostbrand if they have dispells, and Purge for freedom. My biggest weakness is self and team peel other than healing (which is very strong but I oom) followed by people who undertand how and when to kill totems. I'm actually so fucking sick of Disc Priests in arenas. At 1200 Resilience with 20 buffs on them--it's just RNG if I ever can connect damage properly. Meanwhile Priests had always been the easiest class for me as enhance to kill. Now, it's cancer. There's nowhere good in Nagrand or Lordaeron to hide totems from the priest. They all use Totemplates too. Disc has about 20 garbage buffs to GCD your way through. They have anti-heal support without talenting for it. They use SWD, not wands, for the tremor because it's instant. Best bet is to herd them back toward their base and hide the totems to the left or right of the door. So fucking annoying that Tremor and Stoneclaw share an Earth Totem. I've lost to Priests because they're so fucking horny from killing tremors that they just walk around meleeing all my totems til I'm oom. Makes me want to literally scream.
@@NibbaiWotlk shamans are garbage in 1v1, in pvp in bgs or anthing, it requires to much kitting the damage is garbage if you can't free cast. Wow classics pvp was better because at least if you cast the damage was big compared to the health pools. In wotlk nice you got two cast off, now ur stuned or sileinced for 9 seconds and die to a dk or paladin. I rather just make a 60 twink shaman and do bgs and kill people.
@@NibbaiWotlk Yea, I assumed so since it's a macro and not just the BL skill. Just found it super funny. Was expecting uber fast blasts and pumps. but BL was missing xD
