Is it reasonable to believe in God in 2024? [college ave young adults] 

He's not wise. His arguments are all non sequiturs or are just flat out incorrect.

How do you determine what is a miracle and what is not a miracle?

@@fadesgentlyintothenight65 That what's not only improbable, but impossible. Example: In my Church there was a man who had a car accident and only half a kneecap. It was broken in two and one piece went out. So he only had only one half of a kneecap. We prayed for him and in a matter of minutes there was a whole kneecap. We know how the body works and how fast a bone can grow, (if at all it grows...) And here half a kneecap grew back in a matter of minutes. And that just so happened after we prayed. You sure that's just an accident? Ok... That's something that just happens because? And the "placebo-effect" is no explanation either. The body does not have the capabilities for that. And that's only one miracle. There are healings that are way more unexplainable... That's the gift of healing. There's also the gift of tongues, for example. Tongues... Only stuttering? Yes? No. Well not quite. It is referred to as a language of the angels by paul but oftentimes it is also a human language and there are testimonies of people speaking in tongues and people of other languages listening to a message that God has for them in their language. It can be the Gospel or something personal. ‭Mark‬ ‭16:15‭-‬18‬ ‭BSB‬ [15] And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. [16] Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. [17] And these signs will accompany those who believe: In My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; [18] they will pick up snakes with their hands, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not harm them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will be made well.”

@@fadesgentlyintothenight65 I believe God is a God that destroys the works of the devil. He restores what's good and puts goodness into this world. At least that's what he wants to do. We have to offer ourselves up to let him work through us. If that happens, people will see God and there won't be any question about if this is all a fairytale or not.

@@fadesgentlyintothenight65 Oh well, I'm sorry for the confusion. That's a saying. Works of the Devil does not mean works of the devil. It's the opposite of Beauty and Goodness. It is destruction and Illness. I think it's not too complicated to figure that out.
