It’s not to blame Suzuki for this incident. It’s basically the fault on the government’s end. The countries where the government has a proper regularity authority and a penalty system the companies comply with the conditions set by the government. But unfortunately there is no such system in Pakistan. Even if the system exists, it can easily be malfunctioned by the companies through corrupt officials. Where the company otherwise will lose let’s say million dollars, now can easily end up with few thousand dollars with the help of corrupt officials. Why should companies be worried about customer complaints in Pakistan?

I'm triggered. Suzuki doesn't care. This guy (no disrespect intended) said foreign cars are expensive which is bullshit. I live in Australia I own a Hyundai Elantra which is cheaper than Suzuki Alto & it has 7 Airbags + 100s of other features. Secondly, he said we cant hit our car to give assurance. Well any company who cares about their customers conduct Vehicle Crash Tests to make sure it is safe to drive. Anyways, I still don't understand why someone buys a Suzuki car. Sir the nut shell is that we as consumer are totally unaware of safety standards which are essential as per safety policy of country.which have to have followed by the manufacturer. But sorry to say till now there is no safety policy yet launched by Govt.

It’s best in class. Just look at United Alpha a Chinese out dated model launched without airbags and automatic transmission priced over 1.4 million. So it sums up that they could not beat PS. The price of vehicle actual going to PS is just 1 million out of 1.633 million. 0.633 million goes in govt treasury. In Japan the Alto is for 10k dollars and the total taxes on that is just 15-17% . So PS has to cut down features to maintain price point. In short no one can beat Suzuki motor as even Chinese vehicles can’t beat the lower segment car.

As he said that pak suzuki is a professional organisation, then he must be professional in answering the questions although he was very polite. On the other hand Suzuki alone is not responsible for production of sub standard cars at millions rupees, it is the relevant govt bodies too which regulates these organisations.

We have bought alto in 2019 ,It is a nice car ,at that time its price was Rs12,800,00 was quite reasonable. BUT now it is higher . You can opt for 2005,6 model honday city in excellent condition which will cost around 10 lac .

30 40 years till now and they still manufacture 60 percent of the car. Still if 60 percent is local manufacture tou 17 lac kis chez k hain. These creaking noises that you hear from the simplest of things like switches on the doors. Agar yahi quality hai tou india ki garian hazar darjay behtar hain iss se. Monopoly hai bus baray naamo ki there are no competitors in the market tou apni marzi k pesay laga lo.. itna ziada tax honay k bawajood b import ki garian are with much better quality and much better pricing.

Euro ncap 0 . This is what cars were like in 50s and 60s. Complete deathtrap. Juat from pics incan see following issues. 1. Passenger safety cell non existent. 2. Body detached from chassis. 3.no crimple zone as whole car is a crumple zone. 4. Airbag deployment is the last point of defence and maybe the airbag logic wasn't met. This needs investigation of srs was faulty or operated as designed. The issue with alto is basic strucrural engineering is non existant. These cars and built to a budget. I would say that pak suzuki need to redesign structural rigidity of the passenger cell. Govt should implement minimum standard on ncap 2 for new cars and increase to ncap 3 or 4 in 5 years time In pak suzukis defence you cannot mitigate against a 40 ton truck hitting you. So all things considered this alto didn't stand a chance. Driver was fortunate and lucky that there were no rear seat passengers

You are right, Pak Suzuki dosent care. They only mint money. Middle class market is biggest and they dont need to worry. There are still millions who will buy Pak Suzuki products. Quality and safety is not their concern.

Imported cars are better than local assembled cars in Pakistan. Imported cars (almost new) with very low mileage and after paying a 200% import duty on it that car is still in the price bracket of new local assembled car, it means local auto manufacturing industry of Pakistan is HIGHLY OVERPRICED.

Prices are high and quality is low because we have monopolies in Pakistan. If we get rid of these car manufacturers and have true competition, we'll see better prices, better quality and better customer service. If the same car can be built for half the price (including the taxes in Pakistan) and the product is way better, why it cannot be built for the same price in Pakistan? Obviously, we have some families owning these manufacturing rights and they have become used to ripping off people by providing low quality expensive cars. If anything, car should be cheaper here as compared to China where per capita income is about $17000/yr as compared to in Pakistan where labor makes less than $4000 per year.

Go for a good JDM, Vitz, Passo, Mira, Alto or Move if you also want good resale and reasonable parts.For local you should go for a KIA Picanto rather than Suzuki .

Cheapest quality build structure, seen many alto cars never opened air bag. They are selling only as there is no other option. In Malaysia Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia quality and standards are very high compared to Pakistan. Even Suzuki is providing quality cars in these Asian countries

I bought suzuki alto Ags 2021, I am very disappointed with the ags technology, car gears shifting has problems, if going in down hill road then 1st gear stuck and doesn't shift earlier, I vist the suzuki center abpara, instead of checking they said same story, what you can accept from pakistani variant? And it's 658 cc not the 2500 car and bla bla, they made me disappointed, I am not happy with this model. Suzuki federal motor team is not good, they don't know how to satisfy the customers. They are just selling the cars, now I tell everybody everyday that don't buy Alto ags because it's not worthy.

Although you are not a good interviewer, however you raised concerns of a common man to the official representative. But feeling sad for the poor guy, it was his job to defend Pak Suzuki but he was terribly failed. From here we can see the condition of Pak Suzuki, you are not an expert in Auto Industry, still Pak Suzuki unable to answer the basic questions. It is infect Teen Daba, what they are making and Pakistani Awaam has very few options while thinking of buying low budget car, they are forced to buy this Teen daba.

This is not automatic this is ags(auto gear shift.) its a completely different thing. The gears are manual you just don't have to engage the gear manually. You have to let go of the raise everytime you want to change gear. Don't take it for automatic please its stupid marketing

I do not agree with interviewee. My personal experience is that the company don't even bother to respond to any complaint. Couple of days back, i wanted to know about late delievery of my alto they didn't respond to my call and further more didn't even reply to me email.
