What's up Pulch Pals!
I've been rebuilding my Base Set unlimited Binder and decided to find out if its safe to buy vintage Pokémon cards on eBay! Lots of people wonder if the cards are real or if they arrive safely so I bought 6 cards to find out. I also opened a Shining Fates elite trainer box!

I buy vintage on Ebay all the time and score some great deals. I've only had one bad experience and it was the post offices fault for losing my card for 3 months. I ended up getting it though in the long run.

I always thought the small piece of tape on the top of the top loader was iffy until I got a card in the mail with a damaged corner cause it slipped out of the top loader and penny sleeve just a little bit.

Good stuff bro! I myself get all my vintage from eBay sometimes TCG player . I just recently bought a yellow checks Pikachu promo poketour 1999 card. It’s a super rare promo! Can’t wait to get it .

I always forget to say “giger” because gligar is a reference to the face huggers in Ridley Scott’s “Alien” originally drawn by HR Giger. I love all the pop culture references in Pokémon 😂. Thanks for watching the show brotha!

One man's LP is another man's MP. My LGS severely undergrades card which is a good thing actually. I'm currently remaking my base set as well & had mostly (90%) good luck on ebay & tcgplayer. Been getting some great $7-$12 dollar base set holos recently. Love seeing this "real" kind of collecting perspective instead of slabs & PSA 10s.

Nice purchases. The price was definitely right for a lot of them. I also got myself the Starters + Pikachu in shadowless form a few months back. :) Funny thing about my shadowless Pikachu: I ordered it from TCG Player, from the buyer "The Wasteland Gaming", and they sent me a red cheeks shadowless Pikachu instead, so that was definitely nice. Good luck on completing that base set. :)

i would say at the very least you need to put the card in a top loader and between cardboard. but clearly the cardboard isn’t too necessary since none of the cards were damaged. Great video, i love buying cheap WOTC era cards!

I got a Kanto Power box delivered yesterday from stock x and FedEx damaged the brown box and the tape wasn't even holding the lid closed and thank god he laid it down on the side bc it was raining and merely saved my kanto power box.

The 4th card has to be the red cheeks pikachu 😁 I use those flat rate envelopes when I sell cards under $20 on eBay. It’s a great way to send cards really cheap and I can offer free shipping to the buyer. I always use a top loader though, kind of a fail if you don’t.

Great card's for a binder. They display great. Really don't notice any imperfections when sleeved.

If you can tell fakes from real your good as many people are selling fake full arts but, it's easy to tell there real with the texture in the holo.

I love buying cards from ebay, although the tape over the top is upsetting especially if you want to reuse top loaders. Itd be pretty funny if that was the mewtwo I was bidding on. Sweet pulls man! Cant wait for that signed card to get here so I can frame it!

The complaining is real 🤣🤣 bro you could have made an offer for the price change or message them handle with care. At least the cards came in perfect condition they do the same shit with my cards on ebay and I never once bat an eye as long as the cards came protected.
