A catastrophic performance during a US presidential debate has led to serious questions for Joe Biden.
Many, including members of his own Democratic party, have expressed doubt about his candidacy in 2024 due to his old age.
But the 81-year-old has been clear about his intentions.
The President said that he’s ‘frustrated by the elites’ in his party, and called on his opponents to run against him.
His mishaps have continued since the debate, however, with this apparent gaffe on another radio show.
A White House became heated with questions about his neurological fitness and ability to lead.
Spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre said that visits from Parkinson’s specialists were routine checks as journalists speculated that they may have been treating the President for a neurological disorder.
National Security Council Spokesperson John Kirby argued that the debate was not reflective of the President’s health, and that it was a one off.
However, the man challenging Joe Biden for the presidency had his own take on the drama.
Donald Trump, 78, would be the oldest president ever inaugurated if he beats Biden in the November election.
