IS IT WORTH BECOMING A PHLEBOTOMIST 💉🤔 

I'm a phlebotomist. I plan on doing traveling phlebotomy. I want to save money for the respiratory therapist program. I'm determined. ☺

Also, I do know a Phlebotomist that works a LOT of overtime because there's a huge shortage. So you can make really good money base pay at $18 an hour. But overtime is $27 an hour. Always remember that!

I started yesterday! Today was my first day at actually drawing blood. I worry about hurting people and need to make sure I get the needle in far enough…but we’re also using donated tubes where the vac isn’t always the best. I sit here tonight with bruised arms and appreciate this video!

I'm a CNA working and making $15 an hour. This job is tough. I can do it, but I want something different. I'm thinking about signing up for the Pharmacy Tech program, and in that I can add Medication Aide, and Phlebotomy if I want. And I'm going to add it because I love the idea of having multiple lanes open. These jobs pay low, but they can pay high too.

My game plan I just got out of the hospital for a burst appendix I enjoyed watching the nurses do what they did to me and now I want to go back to school to become an RN and work in the ICU both adult and children but I want to start out as a phlebotomist and work in the hospital and work my way up to RN!! Out of all my hospital stays this is the first time that I felt something telling me to go back to school and become a phlebotomist. I took the practice test yesterday to become a phlebotomist and the got 40% of the questions right and 50% wrong I was surprised because I have very little education in this. Thank you for the advice.

I was very smart in school. Dropped out in 12th(dumb i know). Had kids. Got my GED last year. I am 26 years old and want to either get a CNA or do phlebotomy im still lost and dont know how to choose where to to go with life. Crazy stuff. Great video!

I’m a pathology medical assistant at a dermatology office right now at 17hr in West Virginia . And I’m looking to change my career up there’s nothing really to move up in this dermatology field and the pay is not really moving either . Thank you great video. I’m thinking about this or LPN .

If you can't handle screaming an crying kids. Take a pass on that profession. I hear they try to bite to. Drawing blood at the jail can be a challenge with those crazy mofos 🤡 During covid Quest was backed up two weeks. Have a great day 😉✌

I work in a blood donation center, when I tell you I am BURNT OUT…. Oh my goodness… the donor to staff ratio is crazy. We’ll have back to back appointments as well as walk ins. I’m wondering if places like quest/labcorp are a little bit better.

I’m currently a cna and starting my phlebotomy class in January. After that I plan to get an associate degree in health and science.

I finished phlebotomy program in April and I'm having trouble landing a job. I'm feeling a little discouraged right now.

It has paid my bills and over the years I have made more money at each job I've had but it has drained the life out of me. I'm looking for a way out.

I Passed my Exam May 20th 2023 I still haven’t found a job yet sometimes I get excited and sometimes I don’t want to get discouraged
