I have been driving Uber In Kelowna BC now for 3 months, avg day for me is 5 hours,7-10 trips, $150 in income before expenses . I don’t drive nights. I feel if a dedicated driver drove 8-10 hours a day 5 days a week they could make $1500-$2000 a week before expenses. Good luck all , stay safe. Kelowna has a population under 200k, it is a combination tourist town and University town.
Uber is NOT WORTH at all. Mark my words It's ok to do as a part-time or in your spare time. But this must not be your primary job/business. If you are sick, personal leaves, long weekends, public holidays, whatever... you MUST have to work if you are doing Uber. While having a job, Employer pays you for those days
Bhai😭my question is if i earn 5 thousand CAD by doing full time job a uber driver or any jobs, can i send 1 thousand CAD per month to my parents after giving all costs like food cost, rent and tax? or how much possible please tell me,every banggali says there is no savings in Canada 😢😢
Depends on where you live & what kind of job you do . If you're single it's possible to save money & sent money home back . But if you've family living with you in Canada it's hard. For example if you live in big cities you will get 1bhk for maybe 1800-2000(cheapest) . I know many people paying 700-800 for private room. After rent groceries & phone bills gonna cost about 400-500. Bus pass around 130 (idk exact) Or car's expenses maybe 700-800 P/M Also other miscellaneous expenses maybe 500 to 600 If you're single person want to live in canada you can manage to sent money home back & manage essentials. But in family it's almost to impossible sent back money home. Because the more family members more expenses. Conclusion in your case 5000 base salary 1800 Rent 500 Groceries and phone bills 800 cars expenses (Insurance, fuel, maintenance) 500miscellaneous Your gross income will be 1400 after all expenses and if you sent $1000 your monthly savings will be $400. You need to do another job if you want to earn more .
