This is one of my favorite pairs of Nikes I just threw away this pair last week and had them when they first came out! I literally workout, wear them to work, cross train in these. The comfort is off the charts!! Great Job Nike!!

I had the 14, 15, and 17 and I feel the 17 has a better supportive tongue and has better lockdown overall.. 17 best one yet of the 13-17 style IMO .. style is super dope as well

I totally disagree with your assessment of this shoe. I bought this shoe and absolutely love them. I bought them the first month they came out from titalo and paid $145, so if you look hard enough you can find them on sale when they first come out. I also think they look amazing, especially the black ones that you are showing. The truth is that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I saw them, I liked them and I brought them for full price because I could afford them. I passed on the 2014, 2015 and 2016 because I wasn't feeling the wild colour ways but I think Nike got it right with these. Just wish i'd held out for the triple black with the blacked out swoosh but i'm not going to lie i'm feeling tempted to purchase another pair.

I kinda disagree with what you’re saying. I’m a big believer in what works well, even better if................ Why change something that works? Maybe the Air Vapor Max sole was created due to the demand of being innovative because it certainly wasn’t created for better comfort. I have been wanting a pair of vapor max for ages, they look the nuts. Tried a pair on last week and was so disappointed with the comfort and lop sided feel, I bought a pair of 2017 Airmax instead. Don’t reinvent what works well.

I wish they stopped recycling them. If you look at the old Air Max models, they actually used to look different. Now, they just take the upper and change one or two things and call it a year. It's very upsetting and I wish they just changed it. The 90's air max shoes were SO much better!

nike zoom, saucony grid, nike shox , geox, are all much more comfortable than air max, air max looks good but when it comes to comfort it lacks, the newer air max models are horrible, way too expensive and crap low quality materials , i used to be a big fan of air max

Why is it so hard to find these shoes to buy online just 2 years after the release date? They're already sold out in a majority of outlets and the only ones that remain are available in very limited sizes? Were these shoes THAT popular? These shoes are the best-looking Airmax to date. The new Air Max 720 and VaporMax Flyknits can't hold a candle to the Airmax 2015-2017.

The bottoms of mine wore out after a month of walking/running. Extremely saddened as I love the look feel and everything. My years prior air maxes had much more durable souls. Wore out like I’m almost down to the air pockets under the rubber. Just sad for a 200 sneaker

Air max from 2014 to 2017 don´t change that much but the sole is super comfortable, much more so than the super hyped vapor max. I still have 4 pairs of 2015 air max and I believe those have the nicest aesthetics and fit. I am going to save them as they will be like super rare in 10 years since ebay will likely be out of business then hehehehehehehehehhe.

I got em at 100 bucks a few months back at the Nike outlet, mine wore down in the front ball of the foot area and now my air is popped on one of them! They were very comfortable for casual wear and walking while I had them, and they make you about an inch taller which can be nice. Still thought that at $100 even, it should have lasted longer than 4 months!

From someone who wears air maxes all the time nike really needs to actually make the AM18 actually different I've never owned a pair of the newer models I only Fuck with the 90s, Bw, 95s, 1s and Tns just because there classics but since I seen the AM13 when it came out and now the AM17 there all the same no real change so nike definitely needs to get that sorted out for the AM18

My airmax got punctured with a drawing pin and it doesn't comes under warranty but the shock absorbers are holding the back of the shoe good enough to wear it for brisk walking but its not for running anymore .

Jake Saglio I actually have no issue with Air Maxes, but since both retail for a relatively same price, Adidas has way more innovation at that level. Besides, an air bubble is more likely to burst than a foam midsole. Upperwise, Primeknit and Flyknit are similar, unless you get a mesh Air Max, but that's still overpriced.

Jake Saglio don't get me wrong, I love my ultra boost but I think it's hard to make the claim that the air max is really less innovative. I would definetly say adidas is progressive, but I can't call buying tech off another company that pitched it to one of your competitors first, "innovative". I mean an ultra boost is a sock with melted pellets on the bottom. I would imagine quite a bit more engineering went into designing a pressurized air bubble just right so that it is soft but supported. As a runner, I am still irritated the ultra boost sole is still basically shit way to thin and wears better than the 1.0 but still way too fast for a $180 running shoe. I am surprised that he's would call a shoe having the same sole "lazy" I mean tons of shoes get updated year to year with the same sole: ultra boost sole is basically unchanged except the material and Jordan soles rarely change. I know for me, the last thing I would want on a shoe I enjoy running in would be for them to make a major sole design change.

sir is the Nike air max 2016 or 2017 the closest thing Nike has in terms of cushioning to Ultraboost. I love ultraboost but want to wear a nike too from time to time. I only use it for long walks (not run ) I really want extreme cushioning from heel to toe like the ultraboost but looking for the closest thing nike has to match it. Thank you

You went way too hard on these. I just got them and after slipping them on and walking around for a while (an inch taller), I think they might be the best air Max’s I’ve ever owned. Anyway, it’s subjective. Especially when people have different foot shapes. These are underrated IMO

Yeah ultra boost's better but in terms of innovation, midsole and outsole has been the same since version 1.0. Just changed to Continental Rubber. But the look even the upper of the ultraboost is the same. Still better than Airmaxes though imo.

To be clear with the quality of a real airmax outsole to compare similar designs; This type of airmax is very durable despise many concepts. I'm honestly very doubt these could EVER be discounted. Mainly a lifestyle shoe; will totally wear out over couple months from daily wear.

I just bought a pair of 2017 in blue/black colors.. the colors are real nice but it's true the shoe it's not great as you would want for running, they feel to be too low on the cut and the extra padding the put on the back of your heel and lining feels cheap, also when you walk/run you have the sensation the shoe is slipping out of your feet as you move...Definitely not even near comfortable as my old 2015 air max, which made me buy another pair of air max but unfortunately did not meet the expectations. Another comment on the quality on the sole material is that I wore them to play racquetball for the very first time I put them on, after 2 hrs of play the shoe soles, both, got noticeable damage from the drag and slides on the court floor; ok - I understand this was not the type of sport intended for the shoes so I don't want to be too hard on Nike but my personal opinion is that the materials of any product costing you $200 should withstand some rough use.

Yeah I totally agree, reasons why, is because Nike is such a wealthy conpany, and with all of their income they should be able to innovate within 3 years lol, instead of just making some little chabges, but you also gotta think about their priorities, maybe they're focusing on other models, but still, you can't just keep releasing the same shoe with small differences and a higher price lol.

I have a pair in ombre white blue and I found them to be a little bulky looking even though I got the exact size. Still, I love the look of 'em despite nearly slipping and falling on my ass on a rainy day. Watch out for lichen on the pavements people, the shoes aint' gonna save ya

don't get them. i own them and i've had them since jan 2018 and then in a few months the bottom started to rip.... it's really not worth the price it is and they are pretty tight like huaraches so you gotta get a larger size which costs more (depending on whether you're picking juniors or adult. i got junior)

i have 2016s and 2017s. I wore the fuck out of them. they are super comfortable. I'm getting vapormaxes very soon so I'll comment if I notice a change. I paid $200 for my Airmax 2017's and got them from Nordstrom. the bottom of the 2017s wore out much faster than the 2016s
