People think Atlanta is hot in the summertime but it doesn't come close! It feels like you are in a giant sauna in Dallas! I imagine this how hell must feel.
I’m so glad I came across this channel. I’m from Wisconsin (been here all my life) & for some reason because you guys know how it is to live here, it makes me value your opinions way more. Hopefully I will make my move to Dallas within 6 months 🤞🏾.
Just some things to think about for people that are considering... Home prices have gone up crazy the past acouple of years that it might not be worth it and don't believe the hype on having no state income tax because they will get you back with high property taxes, tolls, and sales taxes.
I'm glad I discovered your channel! My family is moving to Dallas this summer from NYC. We have 3 sons so the strong school system is what won us over.
This was a great video. I have been considering Dallas TX, for a while now. I have few friends who lived there for some years, and they really enjoyed it. My main focus is the economy though, a place to elevate.
It has become so expensive to live here that it is ridiculous. I moved here from Detroit in 2009, the cost of everything has doubled or even tripled in some cases.
Hi Mr. & Mrs. T. Your channel came across my feed, and I’ve checked out some of you all’s content. I’m a Louisiana transplant neighbor across the way. Great explanations of some of the ins and outs of living in North TX. I once lived in Houston and couldn’t breathe. Not to mention, Houston floods all the time. I’m on my second stint in living in DFW, and I’m parking it right here for the long haul 💯
When they said worth it in 2022 I was assuming this was going to be geared towards how much things cost the cost of living inflation the price of groceries valet parking at places you wouldn’t expect it and just random unexpected expenses…
Thank you for giving a realistic perspective of why not.. and why to Move to Dallas. My husband I are from Philly I’m an Eagles he’s a Niners fan so I guess we’re both used to that ( Lots of Dallas fans in Philly) We love the heat . We both enjoy nature and coming from another major city ok with traffic. We also mostly work from home. What sections of Dallas are good for buying a Condo?
My daughter and I love your videos. Question from a California girl and the weather. I’m considering the Arlington Dallas area and while researching I came across tornadoes on Google. Please tell me this is only in the country farm areas of Texas
We will def do a video about this but a quick answer tornados don’t happen often. Although they can touch down anywhere they are more likely to touch down in the country areas. We are are going to make a video about this.
I’m considering Dallas ( I’m currently Southern California) due to our budget of 1.5-1.8 mil goes a long way in the nicest areas of Dallas where in Southern California = that’s barely enough. Plus I’m exempt from property taxes in Texas which is a huge plus. Videos like this help a lot ! Thank you
Oh I know this just started but I've been following you. We did move 2 months ago but I had a health issue rear it's ugly head in that weather in north Texas and we are going back to hotter climate per MD as soon as I'm stable. But it"'s fun here and Dallas has all you'll need! Yup tooooo much traffic though. Ugh...Cowboys
thank you guys for the video and the information, Im moving with my husband to Frisco next month, and Im so excited for the change, any specific places to get a job that you guys recommend? thank you
@Meet the Teats came across your channel. I currently live innPhiladelphia Pa and want to move to make a better life and environment for my family especially my 5 boys. It’s getting crazy out here in Philly. I have a dog grooming salon here in Pa and will have to give that up once I move. I’m debating moving to Georgia or Texas. I like Texas better but the floods and tornadoes scare me. I was looking at Katy, cypress, the woodlands but I read another comment on here where she said she lived in Houston area and it floods a lot. So I’m looking elsewhere in Texas. A suburb area I don’t want to live in any anyone else’s ghetto lol! Austin and Dallas got my attention. Can you recommend a good area?
I sub because I see y’all Christ like people but then I unsubscribed when I heard y’all are packers fan sorry Beardown over here I’m still moving there tho 😂
