No-no-no, you CANNOT pack your car full and ship it to Hawaii. It must be EMPTY of ALL personal belongings, including the glove compartment. ONLY a spare tire and jack are permitted to travel with the car. Wish that it weren't so, that's just the way it goes.
@@cartips5307 If you know of a company that will let you ship your car from mainland to Hawaii with your personal items I would like to know. I am looking for one, and so far I can't find any. All say the car has to be empty.
Jessica Battin I heard from a friend that you can but he didn’t mention the company name... sorry I don’t know one that you can load your stuff into the car. I know I said in the video that you can but I was mistaken I apologize.
@@cartips5307 No worries. I appreciate all of your tips about buying cars in Hawaii all the same! I'm now prepared for buying something that costs more than it would on the mainland and is yet not quite as good. At least I know what to expect! thanks!
I really like your video, can you give me information on who or what company did you use to ship your car. Carrier from your house to pick up to port. Moving to Hawaii in about a month, kinda skeptical on which company to use. Thanks so much!
Aloha , please give the name of the shipping company that allows you to pack up stuff inside your vehicle, all the companies I checked drastically state the vehicle must be empty, Mahalo.
You know what buddy , I believe you when you state you got it from a 3rd party that you could load up your car with personal items , just ain't so. I checked the shipping the laws, and is right there, it's not allowed mainly to cut down on any would be contraband, Mahalo.
