This song right here! Whew...the original Definitely had me back in '81. My senior year in high school. I was in love with someone who I thought had gotten away. 4 years later, the question of the song was answered, we were finally together, and after another 5 years of dating & drama we married. The kids came, the drama stopped and we are 32 years married now! Yep, It was her! I LOVE this song & you guys rendition of it is FANTASTIC!! Definitely adding it to my Playlist! The sound was rich the vocals on point kudos to y'all instrumentalists it was the best rendition of this song ever done. I use this with my vocal class I teach. we stress harmony proper breathing and all. Great job guys
lush and velvety version. tremendous choice- such a good take. . It floated around on top 40 radio in the early 1980s , where it never quite fit in. Eric Tagg's vocals drew me in. A certain timber And even then, Lee Ritenour was a seasoned studio and jazz musician. It's a simple masterpiece to begin with, God you're going after the same areas of that composition that just took off- in my heart. certain measures I love and Chords and Chorus/Harmonies. . Maurizio I love that chord you play at 1:04 just after the line "someone's in my dreams" It adds such a great feeling to the whole verse and song. I have been wondering when someone as brilliant as you would do these "revisited" songs . Really like Robbie's voice and all your harmonies, backing vocals & muso's on this track. Love this, great playing by all, but the incomparable Allen Hinds really tops the original. With a nod to Mr. Ritenour's prodigious talents, Allen's touch and taste just make this even more perfect.

IS IT YOU.. This song expresses raw feelings and remembrance for me. It takes me back to a innocence period in my life. Growing up in the 50's in New York, this song takes me to that time. I am greatfull that every time I listen to this song, I can reflect to that beautiful time for me. Amazing job.....Well performed

J'aimerais vous soumettre une petite requête.il y a deux titres dont je serai curieux de savoir ce que vous seriez capable d'en faire c'est du même album de Lee ritenour que IS IT YOU une extraordinaire chanson qui s'appelle my tragedy et de son ami de toujours l'immense LARRY CARLTON ( pour moi le plus grand musicien avec Pat metheny du 20 ème siècle) une chanson des eagles dont il a fait une reprise absolument stupéfiante qui s'appelle i Can tell you why ( une chanson légendaire absolument sublime) quand on voit ce que Carlton en a fait c'est à tomber à la renverse !!!!!!!!!!!!! Correct. At least not to this extent. I would say it's more of a "portato" articulation (definitely not a "legato"). For that matter everything else is also different. Indeed I revisit the arrangements.
