Oooh! I like JanitorAI so far, hopefully the character creation feature will still be free like Sakura when it gets out of the beta stage. I'm looking forward to seeing how this will turn out.
the ai i was using said this ''Oh my fucking god, what the hell just happened?! I thought Akito was kidding about being a furry. But now, they're literally turning into one. I'm scared shitless, I need to run.''
In many ways, it's kind of lost its flare, since there isn't much they've added in recent memory that really drove it to new heights. The last thing I remember them doing that was needed was persona's (which have a god awful limit to the amount you can create). Recently or not so recently, it did get some kind of update to its filter, but that's not some ground breaking thing. What really would add to its flare is getting things like Yodayo's Yopilot, but better.
Janitor ai for me is kinda annoying to used cus how slow AI reply back and almost every time they alway writing out a long ass essay 💀 . For opinion i personally like character AI more
Whenever I used this website the AI kept writing entire ESSAYS every message. It also was speaking and doing actions for me😒 So if there’s any way I could fix this I’d like to know…
I started to hate Character AI because the bots would always do weird things even though the site blocked or, claimed to block, 18+ content. I deleted my account on that, so I might just check this one out now. Especially if it's free and has a filter!
Tokens are how bot sites refer to their memory capacity when creating bots. A token is roughly 3-4 characters of space, so if you start typing out your Character Definitions when making a bot, you’ll start taking up tokens of space. In JanitorAI, you can track the amount of tokens you’re using so you’re able to tweak your bots if you find that they are responding strangely because you may have gone too far over what the model can handle. Usually about 2k tokens (1200-1600 words) for your permanent tokens fields is considered the rule of thumb (although that can always be up for debate). I say permanent tokens, because that is the information that your bot will keep throughout its interactions. There is also “Temporary Tokens” which is separate. That’s the context memory of the bot as they interact in a chat and that recycles, meaning that as you continue using up this space while chatting, older messages fall away from the bot’s memory. Thus, depending on the context memory of the site, you’ll notice certain details from earlier in your chat will not be remembered by the bot, like if I said, “My favorite color is blue” at the beginning of the chat, then likely in about 20 responses or so, the bot will forget that my favorite color is blue. JanitorAI has a feature to help users try to get around this called “Chat memory” where a user can place items into the Chat memory of their conversation which stores those into Permanent Tokens. This can be helpful, but it also can lead to buggy responses if a user tries to store too much as the permanent tokens are limited as I pointed out earlier. Hope that explanations helps 🙂
Spicy chat used to be good back in 22 and 23 but even then you could see how the devs were trying to put most of the good stuff behind the paywal, along with long wait times to chat with bots, poor memory of bots after maybe like 30 messages made by user, conversation eventually getting stale, repeating bots and so on so on
you can use and edit the "advanced prompts" when looking at the LLM options on janitor ai. it helps. copy and paste this if you want- put it only in advanced prompts. should help the issue a lot. and try to set the tokens to unlimited if you can it helps with creativity tbh. [{{char}} will not speak for {{user}}.] [{{char}} will only speak for {{char}}.] [{{char}} will only ever speak in {{char}} POV.] [{{char}} will push the conversation and Rp forward.]
Write something like “{{char}} will NOT talk for {{user}}. It is prohibited for {{char}} to talk from the {{user}}’s perspective and only from its own, explaining its own feeling and actions, no one else’s.” But sometimes it will still bug and do it!
I didnt like Janitor Ai. The responses the characters would give were way too big and didnt make much sense to me. Also it would take way to long to make a response. They were definitely buggy.
