For sure Jinja was built with planning. As I travel across Uganda, that city and Mbale stood out as planned cities in Uganda. It needs roads reconstruction. The roads that were constructed 40 years ago are gone.
i have lived in mbarara, mbale is almost like home, Jinjanj, hoima, passed through Masaka alyas to Mbarara but Surely, Jinja and Mbale have the best physical planning
They start digging the roads just to show that they are series but you will see as soon as they get the money from central government, they will slow down until next budget. I was there and saw it .
The present regime doesn't favour Jinja in terms of development. This town used to be the industrial hub in E.Africa. Things changed when Museveni took over power. All the industries were diverted to other towns. Jinja is not considered in infrastructure development. So do not air negative opinion about the natives of Jinja.
But unfortunately I delete my videos from jinja city just because RU-vid gave me a copyright because of favourite sounds I use. Hoping to come back to Uganda someday.
