I commented on the last hybrid video, I use the hybrid method exclusively to wash my car. My favorite combination is Bilt Hamber Touchless and DIY Rinseless. Touchless cleans so well and I love that I can foam DIY on in the foam cannon to get a ton of lubrication. I have some KCx Active Foam and RRW, I will give this combo a try today! The smell of both KCx products are insanely good.

That’s exactly how I do it. It’s my preferred wash method by far. Let me know how it compares to Active Foam and RRW when you get a chance to try.

@@BreezeMW oh this is a hard one. The cleaning power of Bilt Hamber is probably unmatched for a high Ph snow foam. Active foam smells amazing though. I think I’ll use active foam during the summer when there is on average less contamination on my car. Choosing between RRW and DIY is actually much harder. I love being able to foam on DIY because it makes me feel like I’m less likely to scratch. However using RRW with a pre spray I didn’t notice a single scratch. In my opinion RRW smells a billion times better as well.

Genuinely interested, why AF vs SF? Wouldn't Super Foam technically be an even better option for a PreWash?

SF is 12 pH which is a little too aggressive for a regular wash and could strip some sealers. AF is 9.5 and I use this for every pre-wash on coated cars and it hasn't hurt the coatings so far.

Little head's up, I don't know if you can already buy this in the US but there are 2 new Labo products on the way (Preludio Acidic and Preludio Alkaline) for an "hybrid non hybird" rinseless process. What I mean is those two products are the waterless and rinseless compatible version of Primus and Purifica, so we can perform an effective prewash and jump straight to the rinseless wash to finish the process and neutralize chems without leaving any residue and without using the pressure washer or doing multiple steps like a traditional hybrid wash. Obviously being Labo's products both are VDA certified so even if you miss a spot is not gonna be the end of world, you'll probably be able to just wipe it up. As soon as they become available I'm curious to see how they compare to this more standard process🤔 I have high expectations and I love the idea cause it makes everything really quick and easy

If working under the sun is the only option Eddie would you spray the whole vehicle with rinseless and then proceed to do the contact? Would a soap like that start breaking down coatins and sealants like (NV Jet)? I have GSW and when I need more bite i add a little bit of GS to it

Hey bro so NV JET is chemical resistant its wild, and if your in direct sun do half the car wash / rinseless dry do the other half or just keep the panels wet. The RRW should help encapsulate the minerals helping with water spotting

This might be a good method for high summer temps as long as you have shade during the rinseless. Problem in first step is drying too fast when hot, shortens that dwell time

Still think this Hybrid wash was a great idea. The thing I like about it best is I prefer doing wheels the non-rinseless way and I like to hit the wheel wells with the power washer. I’ve got your hybrid wash down to about 20min.

I haven't used this combo yet, but I'll definitely do it the next time I need to use a stronger prewash. On a well performing coating, you'd be surprised at how effective even GSF is. That's primarily what I've been using for a hybrid prewash on my DB36 coating. I don't use any toppers on it, so it is still performing very well and there is just a bit of road film left for the rinseless to take care of.

Good stuff, KCx makes bangin chemicals. The RRW is an excellent addition, I already love AF, it is fire AF LOL. Not a fan of the tire glaze, I prefer PSS for tires.. When I want to bring out the big guns, I love Multi Star..

Bought the 1L active foam bottle but realized how expensive it is. With a max 1:10 dilution in a 50oz foam cannon I have to use 5oz of active foam. If used for every pre wash that’s going to go fast. I noticed it would be much more economical to buy the 5L super foam with a dilution of 1:50. I can use 1oz of super foam for the 50oz foam cannon with a better cleaning power. 😅

Try brute wheel soap and frothe, from ammo. You could literally foam the whole car with brute , do the wheels and tires, rinse and then do the rest with frothe . Just another combo . Larry's drying aid is bomb too .

It is such a pleasure watching your authentic comments, feedback, opinion etc and great knowledge! what do you think to use Bilt Hamber Touchless using 2% PIR (using IK battery sprayer) on a Subaru (soft paint) as the car is not that dirty - similar to what you have on this video - and then using DIY rinseless wash? I also have KC GSF . Would you use that instead of DIY rinse less as the 2nd step? I don't have a pressure washer yet but will be using the same IK e-foam. I would do it , touchless is a great soap I was playing around using it in a foamer and it did real good , then I spray off then I rinslesss , touchless is safe as well as it doesn’t have caustic soda in it. Also I appreciate your commment

I have been doing the hybrid wash for over 3yrs now. The fastest way to do a maintenance wash. Any alkaline soap will work. I discovered the method during the winter months using a pump sprayer at the quarter car wash. Just don't use a pH neutral soap. Works best on coated cars. Great video, keep up the good work

@@Ecdetails the cling with Meguiars Ultimate Snow Foam is long enough for me to do the rims and tires, rinse and then do my contact wash with DIY or any of them works. I like Mckees N-914 too and I will use anything that I have like tech choice sprayed on my twisted loop towel as my drying aid. 20 minutes if I break a sweat but 30 minutes and enjoy the process. Detailing is fun

Products always come down to personally preference but there are those that are influence by others to use it just because that person says it’s the “best”. Primus,sf , msn, touchless, all clean, decon, nv snow +, bucket naked wash and there a lot more but Primus is wild

Been doing hybrid wash for a year now without even realizing it lol I foam on with my soap of choice and have a wash bucket with my choice of rinseless I’m feeling on that day. Really helps me not stress about water spotting and the fact I’m doing 5-7 vehicles a week by myself, it’s nice to see others are doing what I have been doing. Killing it brotha congrats on reaching your goal, now what’s your next?

Hey, Eddie, I tried polishing for the first time using rotary, ccs polishing pad, and megs ultimate compound, three good passes on speed 1 and the gray paint looked almost the same but it was much slicker. I dont have good lighting so im not sure if i even did anything. Any suggestions? Would getting Bruan color light help to see before and after?? Thanks.

I would get a paint correction light , and check for holograms , if you want more cut change pad to a stiffer foam 1200 rpm and finish wijt the finish pad

For me I prefer water based it last 2-5 washes good to go, long term solvent ones can be blotchy hard to level so far been digging Labo nero Car pro dark side Koch tg looks good for solvent Water base Ads tire + Nv onyx Shine supply Ammo I believe is solvent gotta check its good Diy detail tire Carscope ink

Since DIY Detail does not have a dedicated pre-rinse shampoo, but recommend using their All Clean either straight or in combination with Incredible Suds… Is that going to qualify?

Ya all clean can be used or incredible suds is 8.5 ph so we can spike it - Yvan did mention his high ph soap is all clean with incredible suds

@@Ecdetails well darn. I bought a gallon of Armour HERO. Updating my OPT no rinse setup. Personally I can't be spending Koch Chemie prices or similar names for pre soaks. I stick with Road Warrior 4:1 or dark fury 6:1 or both for pre soak. Insanely cheaper by like 8x

I think this is the way forward. It saves time and gives great results. Eddie can you try all your other favourites the same way? ADS, DIY, Labocosmetica? I hear that Gtechiq are currently in development with a rinseless washe right now, I definitely think they need Eddie's rinseless golden finger touch to help them achieve 'God's work'🫡. I genuinely love the content you are making, to the point and 20 to 30 mins feels about right for this particular type of video. 💥
