I think it’s relatively safe maybe more safe than other countries for sure but you can encounter stalkers at times that can make you feel unsafe. This is not too common though but it happens.
@@silverspoon9434she's ignorant if she believes that South Korea is safer for women, Muslim or not, than France. South Korea has a very misoginistic and discriminatory culture
I think you should ask people who have been in Korea longer. There is no way people who have been in a country for 2-7 days can give an accurate answer to the safety of foreign women in the country.
@@sofijones5048 Yes and people who have been living and working in Korea for months to years are more than qualified to comment on how save they feel it is. When considering Korea is a more pedestrian public transport country they would have encountered plenty of people. It really doesn't take that long to conclude whether or not you feel safe.
Back in 2014, my sister and I went to France. She wears a hijab and I don’t. She faced a lot of racism but the people were so nice to me. Interpret this in however ways you like.
Hijab only in islamic countries. Don’t wear hijab , don’t eat halal meat , don’t read Quran in "kaffir" countries like Korea France Ireland Brazil China America. It’s simple. So why you continue to complaining while you are secretly trying to spread your religion ? Afterward, Muhammad and Aisha were Saudi people, brown skinned, why you can’t move in these lands for studies , job opportunities or wedding ?
One interpretation: France is a country that is hostile to religion. This is how it has always been. What is happening with your sister is the necessary test for a Muslim who clings to his religion. God tests the believer who adheres to His commands in order to increase his reward in his Paradise. This is how the Qur’an has shown us that, and I pray to God for you to maintain your religion as well. One interpretation: France is a country that is hostile to religion. Idk why but it feels so good to hear the women say that they can actually go out at night and feel safe...i wish all ppl around the world, especially women can say that proudly....
But what’s the big deal about going outside at night ? Why you all have this urge to out at night like it’s something so good ? I never understood that , I’m a man and I don’t go outside at night for many reason , why the fuck do you want to go out at night so badly ?
Safety is not about CCTV or the government, it's all about the judgemental system : - internally :which is" individually and externally :which is collectively. So without the consciousness and the purpose, we can't make society individually and collectively safe.
Imo Korea is way more conservative than France. That girl doesnt realize that just because people are not talking and criticising our loud, doesnt mean shes included in the same way than she d be in hee own country.
Yes true but conservative in a way that still doesnt violate our own values. However in France they said that we are the country of human rights when they don't allow us to just practice truly our religion. They want to tell us how to practice our religion to please the French estate.
@@acigaretteand what does it mean to be conservative? If it's because they have their culture then it's absolutely normal not a negatue thing just a normal thing because Korea has just developed fastly in only few years so people will need time to open to the world and mixed culture. When you'll find countries like France which are supposed to be developed and heterogenous society but they still don't understand how to respect people's culture, religion and live all together with those differences and similarities.
In Sweden the door to my dorm also had a 4digit code, not a key. Sure you can copy keys. One morning trying to sleep in, suddenly my door opened. Apparently everyone had gotten a notice that there would be a painter coming in. I never got that. It scared the shxt out of me lol. Luckily he have me half an hour to get ready, rearrange some furniture I believe he put it back or maybe I did, I can't remember, this was in 1999 or 2000 (I was there from Aug '99-June'00). So while I get that a code doesn't feel as safe as a key (every previous student on that dorm likely still knew the doorcode, I suggest you always change locks if you move into a new place if possible or ask the landlord to do so when you rent, just to avoid previous renters to still have access. Over here I don't think they really do but not sure if they let you or not. I'd probably damage my lock myself to get a new one lol. Ofcourse I couldn't change locks in the dorm 😂, but I mean when moving into your own place. It is so easy to make an extra set of keys. I actually did so for my front door a few times at some place in the mall, others recognize it's the front door and refuse and tell me to get a copy from the original supplier. But there are definitely places who just copy keys and ask no questions nor proof of address from like a recent letter. Which doesn't always mean everything in itself especially if it wasn't from say the day or a week before. They take two months easily and by then you could be able to live at a whole place entirely. Now I don't love in the most popular places to burglarize, this shit is old and falling apart so many don't even try thinking there is nothing to gain which for me would be true. But it's different everywhere, so if you can I would change locks if you move in. I think lots of people already do but for those who don't think about that. My useless little bit of advice after that experience of someone in the middle of the room unexpectedly 😏
In my country, some offices tolerate staffs to have longer time to pray.. but some of them do make the offices lack of productivity.. it depends on the type of the work though, if it requires high productivity, then the office should take this issues carefully to avoid problems in the future
Berry safe as a person who lived in Korea and a femal I think it’s really easy to hang out without fearing at all cctv are everywhere and the police is so so dianamic . I reached police stations in seoul they were very nice veery friendly I really apreceated that really .

Apart from the islam situation in France I really don't understand the French girl speech about France. Like France/Paris is very dangerous? It is more dangerous than Korea I agree but stabbing is not common............. robbers also. Thats nonsense. If you check data knife related deaths are even higher in South Korea (~160) than in France (~130) while France has more inhabitants and flow of people. However there are more murders in France overall (but still not common...) Besides this case of stabbing has been on the news because it is a case of 묻지마 살인/칼부림 which means arbitrary murder which has been happening recently in South Korea. Several cases and threats. Not because of the stabbing itself I mean this interview has no point. At this point she was just talking randomly or just for bashing Francr. I guess some French do talk without knowing things because we like debate and overdo it but that s irritating France also is not more racist than Korea. You wouldnt just feel it. If you live there you would understand how it is (I m mixed black) I dont know why she felt the need to overdo it. I am obviously a bit triggered but anyway South Korea is nice. France also is nice to me. My workplace in France is way more chill than my workplace in South Korea though. And in general more flexible (like for vacation, working hours, work life balance, work relationships, customer relationships) but I don't know aboit her case I dont know others had a much more based and sensible reasoning than her. I understand her experience but still

France is not a safe place for her as an hijabi that's what she is trying to say. How can she make a country safe, when she herself does not feel safe, so many restrictions to practice her religion. So even if they don't stab a lot in France, a hijabi Muslim who is french by ancestry and birth, becomes a revert and a hijabi, France is still an unsafe space for hijabis. Why should you want to see how beautiful they look, if the metal detectors don't detect anything, they are still being looked at as terrorists and the women as oppressed.
They are not viewed as terrorists. Issues are mostly older generation that has dumb fears manipulated by some politics. And indeed there were terrorists attacks in France. While it is not representative of islam I can understand why it comfort some people into this idea even if it is wrong. Like honestly France is not that racist but unfortunately islam is a big discussion on the polical side. But I am not sure that if other countries especially east asian countries had to deal with so many islamist attacks they would be as welcoming of islam. As I think we French have to reflect and stop this anti-muslim thing I really don't think that France itself is that bad on a bigger picturr
I suggest that you create a longer podcast for in-depth discussions of different topics. For example, you host a Muslim sheikh or the imam of a Seoul mosque to ask him, such as: Q1/ What is Islam? Q2: What is the difference between Islam and Christianity? Q3: What are the attributes of the Creator in Islam and Christianity? Q4/ Why do you love Jesus and Mary, peace be upon them, and do not believe in the doctrine of the Trinity? Q5/ What is the evidence for the existence of the Creator? Q6/ What is the evidence for the prophecy of the Prophet Muhammad? Q7/ Why are you Muslims? Q8/ What is the wisdom behind the hijab and the abaya? Q9/ What is the wisdom behind prohibiting alcohol, eating pork, adultery, usury, gambling, drugs, smoking, etc.? Q9/ What is jihad? Q10/ What are the rights of women in Islam that liberal or Western women do not have? What is the difference between the rights of Muslim women and liberal women, and what are the limits of freedom in Islam? With these questions, Koreans can learn a lot about Islam. The same topics can be done with Christian priests, Buddhist monks, or atheist thinkers, in deep questions to understand how they think about what they believe in, and what is the standard and reference for knowing what is right and wrong in what they believe.

France has been so incredibly accepting of Muslims. They have caused so many problems with rapes of local women, crying discrimination all the time, stealing and causing destruction (both from refugees and French born Muslims). She’s not speaking about why the French have changed their policies and attitude towards Muslims - because they are ruining the country.
Black people are not synonymous with discrimination/racism...anyone can experience discrimination. Your comment was really weird because Black people were not even in this video but you brought them up because you were surprised that someone not Black experienced racism. It makes it seem like you believe racism against Black people is normal and unsurprising until it happens to someone non-Black. If it is possible to edit your video post-upload maybe consider that and do some self-reflection because multiple people have pointed this out as a bad comment from you.
who comes up in your mind whn you hear the word "discrimination" ? it's black, not white.... you are just too sensitive about that for your mental victory
@@battlecruiseroperational5193 what are you talking about? who was talking about white people? you must be triggered that anyone can be discriminated against because it ruins your racist ideology hahahaha

@@user-qb9po8uu1nI did and still, no it’s not happening « very regularly » quote from mid-video of the first girl interviewed. I disagree with her stance, France is not Syria or Irak yet, it’s not a war zone with people walking around with knives 😅. It makes it sound like you would walk and see people get stabbed left and right as a normal daily thing. It can occasionally happen, particularly Paris as it’s a huge international European capital and yes definitely Korea is safer - most country in Asia - but it gives the wrong image that France is a sort of jungle which it’s not. Never happened in France that a crowd would walk on each other leading to people dying. No country is perfect.
@@deboras.2093 Absolutely. People should focus on making their country a safer place if they do feel like it’s not rather than idealize other place they’ve been once in one specific area. It takes work and care
Take cctv out and become lenient on crimes like they did in LA and watch the true nature of people come out. It’s “safe” according to them is because they know they are being watched and will be punished hard.
Phew, in China and in Lundon there are many more cctv than korea. So what are u gonna say?😂 It's just the level of moral and education. CCTV has never prevented crimes. There's a research result about this When there was No cctv in korea, we still didn't steal other people's thing
korea isn’t a muslim country. it is a buddhist and christian country. if christians or buddhists were to pray in islamic countries, the people there won’t be so pleased. this goes both ways
