Gelo had his opportunity but fucked up with his shoplyfting move. That is something you can't excuse yourself for and continue like nothing happened. Bro you had the best chance to go pro and then you shoplyft in motherfucking another country where they could kill you for such behaviour
@@thewaynetertainmentfamily8658 he did that shoplifting so he can use that as an excuse his whole life. "if i didnt shoplift i couldve had a chance", he KNEW he wasnt gunna make it to the league cause his skills were trash so he did that so it seems like THAT was the reason he didnt make it.

@A H He would be better off as far as development if he would've stayed in college, but his draft stock would not be as high. That draft class was low key weak. Fulltz who went #1 should've been a mid to late 1st rounder. Tatum who went #3 should've been the #1 or Donovan who went #13 should've been a top 3 pick and how Kyle Kuzma was #27 pick should've at least swapped with the #4 pick (Josh Jackson) who has been nothing but trash attitude-wise and playing/production-wise. Lonzo got lucky to go where he was, but Lamelo definitely gonna be a deserving top 5 pick and he just needs to bulk up with some PED"s or something similar to keep up with the strength and athleticism of NBA players and his defense would benefit from a 10-15 lbs. gain in muscle. Bottom line: Lamelo is a solid player who sells tickets and is hopefully more durable than Zion was his rookie year which is an intangible people don't talk about enough. I would love to have Melo on my favorite team as long as he's willing to be coachable and make the proper adjustments to be one of the greatest all around players in the league.
Idk bro I mean I would rather grab a player with high potential then a one with low potential if both players are somewhat at the same level also potential tells you a lot about a player so I disagree with you
Imma be the devil's advocate and say it does. The more potential you have the more you can push yourself when your back is against the wall. The more you can grow as a player *during* a game that asks everything from you
@@blakeware6972 Exactly you could be the best player on a team but when you 1v1 the worst player on your team they destroy you. 1v1s are more of strategy than skill. Real matches team v team requires mostly skill with a lil strategy.
@@giannis5868 isnt it the opposite ? bc when u 1vs1, u rely most on skill in defense or offense to score on the other, you dont necessarily need no strategy to pass the ball, court vision, etc. In real 5 vs 5 games, you need to rely on the strategy since u need to decide between passing, driving, shooting, etc.
I don't know who's better. But LaVar is clearly preparing LaMelo for the NBA better than he did with Lonzo. LaMelo will enter the league much more prepared than Lonzo.
Melo has seen his brother struggle shooting and creating....He had more time to prepare because he experienced it earlier. Lonzo went to college then 2nd pick to the right team at the moment but not after LeBron came!! Lonzo played scared. Im not sure Melo is over 200 lbs yet but he needs to get there fast!!
@@shoresh_2213 I think most would disagree with you. Ya, he can stop shooting 40 footers but decision making and shot selection are part of just overall basketball intuition which is a lot tougher to fix than a mechanical issue like a broken jumper.
Last time I check Gelo aint hurting for any money, got a bad chick who plays at UCLA, still sporting BBB his own line G3,, learning how to be a business Man, embarking on a modeling career , I say GELO is Aite..... www.ncdproductions.com
@@keyradinadem8027 That is true, however Antonio was bigger then Gelo, and didn't have the basketball background or talent as Gelo remember Gelo was trained to play basketball from a baby it is in his DNA who has competed all his life with a number 2 pick, and maybe number one pick in the NBA. However you are on the money with that assessment . Thanks for your reply!!!!!! www.ncdproductions.com
Well to be fair, it makes sense to be currently better AND have a higher potential. That's why people argue about how a worse off player can have a higher potential. It's usually a given that someone of the same age or younger is going to have a higher potential than someone who isn't as good especially if they are older and "worse." If a teenager and a ten year old in tennis played in front of you and the ten year old wins, you just assume the ten year old is not only better, but have a higher potential as well.
Can we talk about how Jxmmy has a dope and easy to listen to voice, unlike every other basketball content creator on RU-vid?? This mans a G in every aspect of his videos🙌
Melo didnt dominate in Australia. 1. His team is at Knicks-bottom tier 2. The NBL (the pro league he is playing) doesnt even rank him as the current top ten, let alone the best... LaMelo is just all hype man.
Hannibal Barca fuck is you talking about? Because u feel so offended of a man’s OPINIONS you should just stop watching. The fact that you cared enough to even make this comment shows that you’ve been following this man’s RU-vid channel for a while. I don’t see the point of watching if you feel this offended....
Luka is a very good player Hope he doesn't burn out too early, he is not the most athletic player in the world and has been playing competitive basketball since he was like 16. Luka is deffo making the HOF even if he retired today.
We don't know if he's better yet though. Zo cooked college and looked like a top 3 pick undisputed. It's harder to judge melo in a different league. He's a more natural scorer but that's it
37% from the field and 25% from 3 for Lamelo. But hey, he's better than his brother who plays in the NBA. You know what's the level of the australian league? Andrew Bogut won MVP last season.
he shot 9% last game lmao, his shooting is horrific. while he's very good in the NBL he definitely isn't the mest player on the court every game like Jxmy said
George Mcrogers shooting on par with Lonzo isn’t a good thing. If you’re a shooter in the NBA and you only make one in four threes you won’t be there for long
Lonzo is a way better shooter not sure what you're talking about lonzo 45% in high school against top comp 40%at ucla and 33% in the nba lamelo 18% at spire 13% in the joke that was the jba 20% in the drew league and right around 20% in the NBL which is a little shorter than the college line i believe
@@maxlewis6420 Let's put it this way look at Julius Randle, D'Angelo Russell, and Brandon Ingram now there's evidence it takes some players years to develope everyone don't blow up in their first year in the League
@@nono1121 Shot selection will be fixed by several trips to the bench. I dont think the efficiency will come up to where it needs to be once that is fixed either though.
@@tksaint8429 I said 19 and in the NBA. I bet you he wont be doing well when he's 19 and in the NBA. Especially not on a shitty team like the Knicks. He couldnt even lead a shitty team in a weak league.
lmao Lonzo is too unselfish. Yes that can be a bad thing. Melo has 5x the aggressiveness and confidence that Lonzo has at a younger age. Lonzo plays like a girl settling for 3's all game coz he can't score in any other way...
Bro is talking about Zo like he's super old or something, he's 22 after his 3rd season in the league and maybe not even that if you count the injuries. There's been only a handful of players that's been able to display a fully developed game straight from college, these are usually your big men or players who's stayed in college 3-4 years. If you think about it right now, Zo would only be a senior in college. Let the guy actually develop his game first before saying he is what he is already, because with that logic the great Kobe Bryant's career would have played out to just be a (sub)average bench player according to his first 3 years. So to say Lamelo has more potential than Zo at this point is crazy because we all knew what Zo's ceiling was coming in and he's no where near that right now. He may not actually reach it but every year he's come back better. Since it's potential we're talking about though, then ceiling is all that matter and honestly I can't see how anyone makes an argument for Lamelo having a higher ceiling, maybe the same ceiling but definitely not higher. People have this ideal view sometimes when it comes to Lamelo, thinking that he's a great shooter because of the 92 game or he's a great passer because he finally learn how to do a pocket pass. The most interesting point has to be the "it" factor, and just by the eye test it may seem like Lamelo has it, but does he actually? From what I've seen, his game has swag and no one with eyes can deny that, but so did Brandon Jennings in high school, so did OJ Mayo in college, the list goes on. Then ask yourself this, when was the last time Lamelo led a team to win something that actually mattered? Never. So how can you say he has "it" when there has been no real situation that required "it"? And yes Lamelo has been good on every level he's been on so far, but so was Zo before the NBA. It's the best league for a reason, defenders are more athletic, defensive schemes are more complex, and not every good/great college level player can make that transition. Zo is one example, Fultz is another good example of how his original game straight out of college did not work in the NBA. You can talk potential all day, and to me they have the same ceiling, but who's the better player now? it's Zo clear as day.
Don't even mention Kobe and the ball boys in the same sentence. He's a bust. His dad is an idiot. Big baller brand is garbage. Welcome to the social media era where form is more important than substance...
They way I see it is this: Lonzo is better right now, this makes sense because he has 4 years on Melo and has shown that he is an NBA caliber player Melo has the potential to be better because at 18 Lonzo wasn't as good at Melo right now. Simply put, if you put Melo in Lonzos situation, I don't think he does any better than Lonzo, and if we go vice versa, I think Zo dominates just as much as Melo is. This is really the only way to go because you cannot say that Melo, someone who has shown no ability at the NBA level, is better than Lonzo who has. I get where the talk is coming from but personally on a realistic standpoint, you make a claim that Melo is better but cannot prove it.
Lil wolf exactly like the level difference between where Melos at rn and where Zo is is insanely high. The NBA is the best league in the world with no competition so idk how you can realistically say Melo is better than Zo right now
@@Lavelltheone NBL is weak compared to Euroleague. It's so weak that it's even comparable to NCAA lol. Melo should've come there instead just like Luka and show everyone he's better but I doubt there's a team that would want him there.
Which is partially his fault, but the dad also chose to move them when he could’ve just taken a suspension. Not to mention they showed no respect to Donald Trump for bailing them. The dad is a bad and good influence in so many ways but mostly bad.
I don't even watch basketball anymore (since growing up in Chicago during the MJ era), but these videos got me binging. I can tell just by Lamelo's ball handling (ha) and how great he is with the passing alone.. tell you dude is going to be a future hall of famer. He's got that geeked out perfection/ eye coordination, and doesn't slow down. It's the type of skills that you can be a showoff, just by how good you are at passing the ball. Just ALL around greatness. Dude will be much much more successful then his other brother. Oh yea! Almost forgot.. I mean brothers.
actually the opposite he won't get drafted but all his nuthuggers keep saying he'll go lottery for sure lol he can't shoot he can't defend and he isnt athletic by nba standards
It's pretty crazy that all 3 brothers could be NBA players.Talent is rare so to have a father, and 3 sons at the highest level of basketball is pretty cool, even if they aren't superstar level

I definitely see lonzo and lamelo being some key players in the future if they just get the right training to keep improving but I think lamelo will definitely turn out better than lonzo.
