Join me for my first trip to Lincoln, in the east of England. I check out a very homely Airbnb and give a full tour and a full review, I see the fog rolling in across the Lincolnshire countryside as I tour the medieval city. Have a walkthrough the University of Lincoln quarter, walk into the main shopping streets on a busy Saturday, take a walk up the very steep hill to the cathedral, all around the old town and tour Lincoln Castle grounds. Take a peek inside The Museum of Linconshire Life and see an original World War One Tank.

if you'd have gone to ST STEVENS CHURCH downhill , right of STONEBOW ARCH, you would have seen , and recorded how LINCOLN was the main city of ENGLAND centuries ago... Thank you for a great video,sent to all my friends now, 😂😂❤❤❤❤

Great video.....Lincoln is the best city you've never heard of or been to! Much improved since the Uni started building up circa 30 years ago.

Lincoln is a beautiful city where I was born many years ago, I don't live there now but I like to revisit from time to time and it always feels like coming home and my surname is Emerson

On bailgate the arch at coffee by the arch is the oldest Roman arch in the country that is still in use over 2000 years later

Great tour. Born and bred in Lincoln - still recognize it as the city I grew up in!. Going there early December for a 3 day visit. Not staying in an Airbnb thankfully! I agree with you, those places I'm always quiet and very much aware I'm staying in someone's house. It's a hit and miss, mostly miss, that's why I stay in Hotels now. I got a deal in the White Hart Hotel and I saw it on the Strait. One time, the Strait was known for its antique shops, but now I saw only one and one on Bailgate. Again, thanks for the tour.

Andrew, thanks for this wonderful video. Visiting Lincoln for the first time soon, for a few days, and staying in an Air BnB - £34pn inc. en-suite. I may relocate to Lincoln one day, it seems to have a lot going for it. Keep up the good work!

The University has brought a lot of building and investment into Lincoln, to be honest it was fading a bit before then.

Nice to see an alternative look around Lincoln and not just the castle/cathedral. Wasn't impressed with the videographer talking down his Airbnb as it was part of someone's house and not a private, "zero touch" places 🙄 What has your choice of places to stay got to do with a review of Lincoln? 😂 🤷‍♂️ No information about the shops, or the 3rd century Roman arch. Luckily other reviews were keen to comment in the history. Far more animated about the museum of Lincolnshire Life although you kept saying it was free (even though you stayed they asked for a donation to help keep it running).
