Don't you have insurance through your electric company for your large appliances and A.C.? Our AC is 34 years old. We've gotten it fixed for no additional cost, and no bullshit where they lie and tell you it needs to be replaced (although one guy tried that). It still works!

Dude, so sorry about your AC trouble!! I hope you can at least get window units until its fixed. Our 1st house had a 50yr old oil furnace & it went out & we had a window unit. We went 3 winters in Missouri w NO heat! Thank God for my Aunt Betty bc when she heard that, she got us central heat & air. So I've definitely known how it feels to freeze, so I imagine the AC broke is terrible. My mom in laws went out & we put wet washcloths in the freezer to help keep cool. Hole yours is fixed soon

We were sweltering in the same sweat bath of failed air conditioning and humidity two years ago as you are now. We also thought we might have to replace the entire unit because no one could seem to get the thing fixed until the repair company sent in their boy wonder who refused to give up because it didn't make any sense to him that the unit would need replacing. The company had already sent in their top people but this kid, and I do mean kid, he was like 17, 18 years old, went at it like a scientific equation that needed to be solved and dipped if he didn't figure out the sequence of fuse failures that brought the whole works down. Cool air has been flowing through the vents ever since. Hopefully your air conditioner meets it's own boy wonder who can get things moving for you in the time it takes him to go at it mathematically.

Yeah, I was really not digging Ashley coddling Ed, or how the whole table got diverted from what I think could’ve led to an important discussion on WTF was going on with Angela’s behavior AT THAT MOMENT, and which may have resulted in some sort of plan on how to react that might’ve prevented Michael being in physical danger on that balcony. But instead it got scrapped for a phone call about a conversation that happened hours before about a non-violent incident that happened several months ago.
