June "Mama June" Shannon and her daughter Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson are making a return visit to The Doctors on Wednesday for a check-up on Honey Boo Boo's health.
I mean they're not poor anymore. They're excuse back then was that they're poor and all the good, healthy food is expensive. But now, there is no excuses. Just because you're not healthy, June, doesn't mean your beautiful daughter has to.

Here are some cheap healthy foods. -You can get fruits, vegetables, frozen fruits/veggies and make a salad or a dish of choice that can last you more than a day. -Another dish is rice and beans. Dirt cheap. Healthy. -Another dish is plain yogurt and berries/oats. -Bananas, coconut water, and dates. Healthy and good in the morning (stops body from taking in too many calories and prevents water weight). -Fruit smoothies.
+GracieBooProductions Healthy food isn't expensive. The shit they try to pass of as healthy food is expensive. Fruits and Veggies aren't expensive. Lean meats are only slightly more expensive than fatty meats. Also smaller portions means less food to buy.

I don't know why there telling her to lose weight I weigh 40 more pounds than her and my docter say I'm not obese I also have a real condition called thyroid disease I don't know why she's complaining when she walks into a store she has to get a size 14 I DREAM OF STILL BEING IN A SIZE 14 I get the biggest size u can get at little girl stores A 20 I shop at forever 21 already and as I said IM FUCKING 9 so Alana has the least problems
Omg she is heavier than me and I'm 16 and 1.80 m. I think It's pretty clear that June can't raise her children properly, all 3 children she has raised are obese (Pumpkin, Jessica & Alana). Anna is the only one at a healthy weight but she was raised by her grandparents who are not obese.
Aprylls NailsNstuff she is buying all the food and she raised them eating this way, it's hard to change your eating habits. And it's not that much about knowing when you're full, it's what you are eating.
Mari- Anne Mama June doesn't buy all the food that comes into that house, I have seen a few eps. Besides that, mama june is losing weight. I saw them on the Doctors, they have a chief who cooks them all healthy food and that food was in the fridge, when I saw the ep the chief had been there for a year. They have a better advantage them most people trying to lose weight, no excuses. She's just lazy
I can not believe she still has custody of that poor kid. I feel sorry for all the kids cause Momma June is horrible parent. Her secret go go juice should not be given to little kid surprised her teeth not rotted out.
I'm two years older then her .. And she weighs so much more then me.And my 14 year old brother also doesn't weigh more then her. And now the shocking thing: My 16 year old brother, weighs only two pounds more then her. He. is. 16. and.tall.!!!! I feel so bad for her.
Mama June has done a lot of messed up things when it comes to raising her children. She doesn't respect them as a mother should and she doesn't take proper care of them. It's ridiculous all the jokes people make about their family when in all honestly, mama June shouldn't even be a fit parent. Just because she has money and used to have a reality tv show, doesn't mean anything. Her children are over weight (which isn't something that I'm condemning) but if it gets to out of control it can kill them. The "dating the man that molested my child" thing, like come on, family comes before men. And the thing that she can just come on tv and laugh about is sickening. On her tv show she used to just laugh at the weight of her children. There seriously needs to be a petition or something.
Something that they could've done if all the healthy food was "too expensive" then they could've gone to Wal-Mart or wherever and bought some seeds and started growing a garden. Would've given them something productive to do and would've gotten Alana out in the sun for a while during the day. But oh no... that would require them getting up. And I know June is technically thin now and acting like she's all that now but she hasn't been putting her daughter's needs ahead of her own. Never has. They even stated how she dated a man that molested her oldest daughter Anna
For all of the people who are saying that she is raising her kids wrong because there overweight THAT IS A COMPLETE AND UTTER LIE ! at least her kids are not bone and skin she feeds them how they like .some moms don't even feed there kids and dieting at Alana's age is kind of unhealthy although she is overweight and does weigh more than myself and I'm 13 she likes food and so do I I am about 115 pounds which is close to a normal weight for a 13 year old I believe that she does need to lose some weight but June is a good mother and everyone is judging her go look at your mom she is not perfect at least mine isn't no ones mom is perfect and there is way worse moms out there who don't care about there children barely spend any time with them and could care less what they do well Alana does beauty pageants and seems to have a normal family cause my family is pretty close to there's if I can say so everyone's family is weird In a way.Everyone has an opinion and this is mine

Why would Momma promote weight loss of any kind? If she did, she would get "jelly" of Boo-Boo's progress and have to get that hippo ass of her own into some motivation...That ain't gettin' done anytime too soon...So, have 'nother two dozen Krispy Kremes, and chow down, "Wide Load" - y'all can afford it!
only reason why these people want to help this girl and her family is because she's on TV she is not the only child in America with this problem this makes me sick that they are picking on this family get over it
If she is, that’s awful. It would be great to have HBB go back to the average level of weight, and her diet wold definitely help, since I care for everyone when it’s about health problems.

Red Gold my mom works for DCYF or the people who remove kids if they are not being treated right. So the authority that takes kids away do exist but they have to go through court several times and visits with kids and parents and foster parents and rehabilitation so it's a long process.
Some people like to make excuses for themselves while they cry victim. I'm 5'6 and 120 lb. Every time I eat a salad for lunch my larger coworkers will tell me that what I'm eating isn't healthy because I use dressing. Meanwhile they're eating McDonald's and drinking soda. No excuses. You're fat because you're lazy and you eat garbage.
16, 5'8, and 115 for me. Your weight is dependent on your height and body type. I have a small frame and a small torso but longer legs and arms. My brother is the same height as me and 18, but he weighs around 135 because he has a wider frame and more muscle on his body than me. As long as you are healthy, it doesn't matter!
I'm 65 weight but my legs are thicc that's the only thing but don't get me wrong I'm 10 and I exercise to get the thicc legs away from my life I do the u know I lift weights 100 times a day and do push up 100 times and there's her 9 year old just sitting home and eating junk

I say yes she was not giving her daughter the healthy food. Because she fears if she cared about her daughter and her health, people would be upset because she lost her signature look. In other words, they would possibly loose some money.

Honestly I understand she is obese but it's not always cheap to buy healthy meals ether. However if i had daughter or a son and he or she was 123 pounds at only 9 years old I would want to change his or hers diet. My daughter or son would not need to be diabetic at a young age.

I feel bad for honey boo boo because she grew up with this kind of lifstyle and these bad habits. She is use to it and dosen't know better. And i think if she did know better she wouldn't try to change because like i said, she is so use to it. And thinks it's normal.
Why would June sabotage her own daughter even if she is jelly that Alana might be thinner when she is older Alana is her family and nobody should do that to their family
The fact that Mama June herself is overweight shows that maybe they both need an intervention because she might just be treating her daughter how she treats herself.
