Advanced maths is the reason I quit gamedev 😅. But Unity game engine mey basic maths use karke bhi games bana sakte hai. But it's not worth it kyuki log mostly advanced maths wale games khelte hain

I am keeping game developement as a side hustle and that makes me motivated to study maths but at the same time i actually have learned quite a bit maths while taking in account that i am belong to humanities stream But it's dosent makes me feel like that "Yeah, i have learned more than enough " Instead i wanna learn more about so I can dive into that knowledge, i can understand how that game was made that i love playing, i can have try to understand that how that guy actually made that game and what he was feeling while making it. But the thing is I don't wanna learn from anybody like taking classes, going through a paid course. I wanna learn it myself coz if i learn a thing by myself i feel so good and it makes me feel like learn about that thing more and more and more ...... But it's also becomes the problem cause I tend to spend more time learning that skill as compare to PPL taking classes. But i don't regret a thing about it. And that's where people like you come giving us the opportunity to learn that thing by ourself. Tbh nobody can keep reading that thick book and understand all the thing written in it. And that's where we can use tutorial that people like you are making And i genuinely appreciate it so much You don't know how greatful I am to all the people who are giving us free knowledge and doing their best so that anyone can have access to that thing, that knowledge, that specific topic. With all due respect I thank you for the bottom of my heart I don't know if i will be able to say this in near future but currently this is how I feel ryt now. I don't wanna let go of this felling. And i will make proud of you guys and myself that without any premium courses and other things I still get what i am searching for and if by any chance i actually find that then maybe I will first like to say thanks to all the people like you and freecodecamp etc..... 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

There are lots of free eBooks out there to actually learn by yourself: a person who can write an entire goddamn book about something is much more experienced and profound than someone just creating RU-vid tutorials of that topic's basics. You can expect good habits and practices from a book author, but not some RU-vidr.

I guess he also wanted to say that computer science doesn't require maths or wot 😂, If you analyse algorithms,you need proper understanding of linear algebra and most importantly discrete maths . Also if you are into HPC(which is pretty much uncommon in India)then you need maths for the same analysis of algorithms and thier computability. People who are into CS research says that CS is itself a branch of mathematics and the development of mathematics has ended but it's been taken up by CS. I mean every single algorithms need mathematical understanding to work with them else you can't get a optimised result from them . People in India don't even understand the difference between CS and SWE. CS is not coding,it is way different from that ,the thing which we actually study in our curriculum of CS in colleges is what CS is.

@@senku_z1 brother don't panic,these subjects will go off just after your first year and all of your core subjects will come. They are all related to computer science and computer engineering. Now I am more into science of computing so I don't like industrial stuff and am more into research. So if you are interested in going into the industry,learn a skill,do DSA and all your core subjects to a good level. But if you want to go to Research and science like me , please prepare for gate and higher studies with a focus on journal and thesis reading.

@@AryanSingh-xn4pe I'd say start from unity, first learn c#, people might have different opinions languages and frameworks But I'd say unity is best, beginners friendly and has a lot of tutorials for almost anything, Start from this channel "sunny games and technology" He has lots of good videos on c#, unity and gamedev, If you prefer English, go with brackeys, iheartgamedev and samyam.
