With the release of Steamboat Willie into the public domain on January 1st, 2024... does this mean that Mickey Mouse is finally safe from pirates? In this Lego animated adaptation of the Disney classic, we discover if Mickey still has to worry about pirates roaming the seas, or if he can sail off into the sunset peacefully with Minnie Mouse.
Based on Lego Ideas Steamboat Willie Set 21317, released in 2019 to celebrate the 90th Anniversary of the animated shorts release.

I’ll never get enough of Steamboat Willie being in The Public Domain. Never. If I’m lucky, hopefully by next year, The Karnival Kid will eventually be next🤔

Awesome. The segment from 1:30 to 2:00 looks like a rad LEGO browser game from the early 2000’s.

I thought this was some sort video essay and showcase about bootleg lego sets based on Steamboat Willie (now that it is in public domain), still, pretty good animation.
