So many things with this video!!! First, did you know I had an album?! I grew up singing, dreamed of being a broadway star, got a scholarship for performing in college and then got married and had babies. Sometimes life surprises you and I'm thankful for the twists and turns it's given me. My four babies are way better than any career on Broadway could have been! I don't sing much anymore... it's just been SO long!!! But going back through the songs in my album sure made me miss it!

Second, do you like Brian better with or without a beard?!
And third, WHAT AM I GONNA DO WITH THE TWINS?!!! We've been putting them in "thinking" chairs and it's HILARIOUS. The days of laughing at them being naughty are shortly coming to an end. They both earned themselves three minutes in their thinking chairs... hahaha one day I'll record it. It's so cute and sad. How do you discipline your kids?

We've been discussing the kids and the importance of being buckled up. You can still voice your concerns, but I hear ya!!! It's definitely safest to buckle up. It's a little ironic that that's the takeaway from this video because my kids are ALWAYS buckled. Except on Sunday because the church is literally four houses away. BUT. It's not an excuse and I'll keep working on being a better and safer mom, thank you for your comments!!! xoxooxox

@@maloriestott7608 Why would you encourage someone to take risks with their child's life? This doesn't count in the category of "parent shaming", this is a possible life or death situation. If you are in the car and the car is moving you buckle up. Period.

I find it ironic than many of our parents and grandparents grew up and survived with out seat belts. Seatbelts are still relatively new, they haven't always been around. I know it's been proven to save lives. I get that. But I remember driving around the block on my dad's lap as a kid pretnending to drive. Some fond memories for me. Love this vlog Abby! Your kids are adorable.

Allie Bradshaw there are lots of kids and adults that died without proper restraint devices(like seatbelts and car seats ) my mom was paralyzed in the 70s because seatbelts weren’t used : car accidents aren’t always preventable and the number one killer of children. I love this vlog but I want to use this as an opportunity to spread knowledge. Seatbelts and proper car seat use saves lives .

This is a very common response to most “safety measures” these days, but the fact is that they’ve changed for bad reasons - people have died. I was born in the late 70’s and grew up in the 80’s and 90’s. A lot of things were different back then...cars were slower, there were less teen drivers on the road, and they certainly didn’t have phones or social media to distract them. It doesn’t matter what our parents did “back then”, it’s about what research has proven. Children and adults (front seat and backseat) should be properly restrained at all times - even if they’re not going that far. Is it worth the risk? 💕

The people who died aren't around to tell their story now are they??? Saying someone survived literally proves nothing. I did tons of stupid dangerous things when I was younger too but when we know better, we do better. Encouraging someone to take insanely stupid risks with their children's lives is absolutely mindboggling to me.

I had to laugh because I had the exact same cereal scenario just yesterday. My twin boys are 14 months and they were jumping up and down with excitement in the cereal because their 2 older sisters had left a box of cereal within their reach. Thanks for posting this! You are a wonderful inspiration for another twin mom with 4 kids. Love your music album as well! Thanks for cheering up my day!

Please, please buckle your children properly in the car every time, no matter how short of a trip. All it takes is one accident to lose everything. You have a beautiful family.

I moved to Utah from Washington and I notice kids in cars unbuckled often (when parents "just have a short drive"). Seeing unbuckled kids in Washington was pretty much unheard of....also seeing kids without helmets was unheard of, but in Utah it is the norm! I guess I'm extra paranoid because I won't even go down the street without my kids buckled in ,it just isn't worth the risk to me. 😊

No matter the drive...you never never know if some idiot will be drunk on the road with you! You just never know. Anything can happen in a second. We definitely are sharing concern out of love❤️ please buckle correctly for every trip!

It's so true!! I think it's because the churches are literally inside most neighborhoods, it's hard to buckle in four kids for such a short trip. But you guys are all right and I knew I was gonna get flack for it. It's just life though, we're not always perfect but just doing our best. I'll work harder at buckling them all in in the future! xoxoxox

Oh you trickster with the title! Haha I would have watched regardless but that title definitely got me curious! I wish you were preggo, you make such cute kiddos! I FEEL you on the naughty boys. My 2 yr old and 3 yr old daycare kid are SUCH trouble makers!! They’re in time out all the time! 🤦🏻‍♀️ ps- beard for sure! Sorry Brian!

We started using the 1.2.3 magic with our littles and it’s helping!!! You can find that book anywhere. It was recommended to me by my mentor who was a kindergarten teacher!!

Savy’s comment about her daddy’s beard made me laugh because that’s totally my kids. My 7 year old told my husband that he looked like a doofus when he shaved. I like both looks short scruff or a good shaped beard.

Accidents can happen though it only takes one second 😢 I got in a horrible car accident that totaled my car and I was still on my residential street.

Not to be mean or anything, but shouldn't your kids be buckled? And at 5:13 one of the twins were in the front seat. I couldn't sit in the front seat till I was 11, and I don't think those twins are even close to 11.
