Love the podcast as always!! One thing to add is that Autism is a spectrum. It is not just a line of what people would call "High/Low functioning”. Autism is more of a circle, some people excel at somethings more than others. Each diagnosis is different. You can find different diagrams of how that circle can look. Also people are trying to lean away from the Asperger's diagnosis due to it's problematic origins. Hope that was somewhat educational.

These poscasts definitely are the highlight of my tuesdays and fridays. They are a real good "pick-me-up" when I am feeling down, too. BTW you guys nailed it when talking about what is the right way to handle if you are frugal and can't go out whenever your friends go out. Being a good model I think is hard with the fact that you have to not only have a good walk and presence. As well as keeping up an image and the limitations of your self expression to be sellable and knowing there is an expiry date on your career as opposed to acting
As a psych major I liked that Jeremy brought up Maslow’s hierarchy of needs because what people don’t know is that although we’re all capable of reaching self actualizing, most of us don’t or only to a certain degree. It’s estimated that only 2% of people reach the state of self-actualization.

As a person who was broke worked to move to get an apartment for my gf and then lost my job trust me… the relationship can def make you that person. One of you has to be ready to give up and one of you has to be ready to change however trust if you love someone you gonna get your shit together. But either way it’d def making me more of a better person
That’s true Asians are always gifted gold as a baby. My grandad gave us all name necklaces. That was the only memory I had of him and my dad sold them. I will always hate him for that.

agree with wutak on so many levels, always tell my family to stop being so codependent they always asking for money but in long run those handouts only go so far if they don’t invest in themselves, i could die a millionaire and only takes one irresponsible person to lose it all.. i’d rather teach them to be self sufficient and grow with me

on the eating out thing tho. I legit am counting every little amount I spend. I will go for a meal out but I'm picking the cheapest thing on the menu deliberately, so yes if my bill was actually 50quid I don't want to be spending the split 70. Maybe in the future when I am earning enough to not give a damn about where my money goes, but rn don't shame me for trying to save money.
