Alhamdulillah. I love watching ✨ Free Quran Education channel. It has so much learning content . 😊 May Allah bless and give highest success to this channel Ameen.
Music was a major part of my daily life, I would be listening to hip hop/ rap music every moment that I could all day long, but in the past few weeks I feel like my iman has been increasing rapidly ever since ramadan ended and every time I feel like I want to listen to music I listen to Quran and I’ve never felt better Alhamdulillah. Insha Allah I never deviate from the straight path again🤲.
Same happened to me actually! I feel like Ramadan is about changing the bad habits in our lives and not just about fasting and buying new clothes. I am so happy that I have a good amount of imaan. All thanks to Allah.
Alhamdulillah. I left listening to music 2 months ago, I left it completely, and promised Allah swt, I will never repeat. May Allah swt, help me in my commitment. Instead I listen to my fav Qari Abdul Basit ,🌹🤩
@@lododiadia5691 Assalamualaikum. Brother, leave people aside! because it is you who gonna give answer to Allah Swt on the day of Judgement! May Allah help you 🌹
@@matin6415 bro, first saitan shows the music, changed view from iman and he made addict by peoples. Do you know who invented music first? Do we want to follow? Do we want addict? Do we want to listen it?
idk what happened but this Ramadhan i decided no matter what happen I won't listen to music this ramadhan.. may allah guide us i had a habit of sleeping while listening to music even in ramadhan i couldn't sleep if i wasn't listening to music... but this ramadhan it just came to me and i decided on my own i am always amazed when i think of this because no one told me to quit neither heard somewhere to quit i would have listened to it and no one would have dared to stop me but my heart did. and now when ramadhan is gone I don't want to listen to music it's not like I've become very religious or something but i just don't feel like listening to music... may allah guide us all the way he have guided me.
Once I stopped listening to music I started tasting the sweetness of Salat Alhamdulillah. May Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala keep us on this blessed path. Ameen
I was obsessed with music i listened to it everyday every type I slowly started to limit ho much i listen to I only listen to one or two songs rn Thank you for this video💙
An excellent evaluation on a hotly debated topic. We all must be wary of Shaitan at all times. Music is good and bad. Unfortunately there is more bad music than good nowadays 😢
Assalamualikim everyone I need your attention during the protests in Delhi a Muslim lady named safoora Zargar was arrested by police and is kept in jail till now that lady is 21 weeks pregnant despite knowing that the police did not release her whoever protested for her to release her that protesters are also taken to jail many requested in court to release her but the court don't listen she got arrested because she was Muslim i am appealing to everyone that pls pray for her and everyone it will be a great pleasure INDIA JAZAKALLAH
I agree with what he says some types of music specifically that which includes bad language or promotes haram things is dangerous to listen to however not all music is bad , some music can inspire us to think about Allah and the world around us it it can be soothing and promote good things . In my humble opinion the fact that there is no clear prohibition of music is because it is something that can be used for good and bad similar to wealth one can have an immense amount of money and choose to give it in the cause of Allah yet another can choose to indulge in the wealth and use it wrongfully . Music like most things is dependent on our intentions and what its purpose is for . It is our duty as Muslims to know what types of music to stay away from and to guard ourselves from, with grey area issues like this it is best to either stay away completely or trust your intuition (i.e whatever morally you think is good listen to and stay away from that which distracts you from Allah). Ofcourse Allahualim (allah knows best)
The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Among my ummah there will certainly be people who permit zinaa, silk, alcohol and musical instruments…” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari ta’leeqan, no. 5590; narrated as mawsool by al-Tabaraani and al-Bayhaqi. See al-Silsilah al-Saheehah by al-Albaani, 91).
Music helps you to memorize espescially the ones with a catching line. But most music have a meaning behind them and that is where it might be haram or not. music that have bad words or bad behavior are obviovlely haram but music about islam or to learn something useful, in my opinion, is fine. Allah told us to keep learning and music can help in making the brain understand easier especially for kids who are still trying to learn the alphabet. But listening to music will never be better than listening to Quran
Exactly i think its all about balance like watching youtube watch the good not the bad i like to listen to less music and mostly inst so i think its halal
Alhamdulillah! I'm just listening this full lecture of Sheikh Hamza Yusuf since morning and you're make this video. Masha Allah. I loved this point that lecture even I note it and you make this video. Masha Allah.
According to Dr Zakir Naik any music that takes you away from Allah is haram and only the drum which one side opened is halal to be played and listned nothing else.
It is sooo true. I have experience of leaving music for a month and only hear zikir if really2 want to hear music espeacially when i feel sleepy while working, and i can feel i have better memories of hukum or law in islam and the du'a in arabic which i feel its hard for me to memorise it before..and also it is easier and smoother for me to read quran too. Because im not understand Arab. So it is so good for us to not hear music at all.
Sorry but I disagree. If music was nearly as bad as people like the presenter believed, then Allah would have been extremely clear with it in the Qur'an - there wouldn't be any room for subjective opinion on it. That alone is proof enough music in general is acceptable, but I'm surprised the speaker mentions '...and nobody could make a blanket statement that it's halal'. So much in daily life technically isn't halal (sleep, reading a book, going for a jog, etc) because they're simply either necessary activities or things we do for pleasure, so music not technically being halal isn't a suitable measurement of its 'haramness'. If music stops you from praying and reading Qur'an then sure, it's a problem, but my playlist is such that it goes from Mike Patton screaming in my ear to recitations by Omar Hisham Al Arabi. There's no confusion, there's no 'demonic energy' that makes me do haram things (a ridiculous opinion to be quite honest), and I complete my daily prayers and read my Qur'an all the same. Any kind of media can be made haram, but just as there are suitable books, films and shows, there are also music. If ulema and certain imams want to express their personal opinions on music then they may, but it's wrong of them to try and categorically vilify something so mundane.
Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “[Allaah said to Iblees:] And befool them gradually those whom you can among them with your voice (i.e. songs, music, and any other call for Allaah’s disobedience)…” [al-Israa’ 17:64]
I was a beginner music producer I wanted to be like Martin garrix and avicii but one day my brother said that left music completely and try to live as you should as a true Muslim for 1 week, And it completely changed my life, If you think making or listening music is cool you're wrong cause following the path of Allah is the only way of being cool.✌✌
But it is not stated anywhere in the quran that its haram and even in the infamous hadith profit muhamadصلى الله عليه وسلم he didnt tell the other sahabi to cover his ears .but i think a lot of music is haram. Ill give an example so youtube right there is very good content but also a lot of bad stuff but just because of that bad stuff should we not watch youtube. No we should be careful of what we watch .and i think music is kinda like that but if you dont want to take chances then dont very responsible of you. I am also trying to listen to less music and im doing well. All respect to you my brother
Music fills up the quiet time we have to reflect with insignificant noise. I used to listen to music constantly but I've cut down my exposure to it massively. You have to remind yourself why you stopped listening to it when you feel the urge to go back to it. Many artists we listen to have issues themselves (serial dating; alcohol; drugs) - why are we wasting our time listening to their melodies? Music also puts you in a trance and almost makes you become unconscious
Music is very contrary to the Quran, when I often listen to music, I can memorize the lyrics very easily. but when I want to memorize the Quran, it feels difficult. even though before that I was very fast in memorizing the Quran. I hope I can get closer to the Quran. Ameen🤲.
may Allah bless you I love music but my muslim friends start to stop listening to music one after another I start wandering if I am doing an opvious haram thing and also love it I love to hear good massages in music, the one that match my beleive and heal my heart so I didn't understand way God forbbid music I know if it's the word of God I have to follow even if I didn't understand why because God will only guide us to the right way now I feel like I understand why may Allah guide us all
“And of mankind is he who purchases idle talks (i.e. music, singing) to mislead (men) from the path of Allaah…” [Luqmaan 31:6] The scholar of the ummah, Ibn ‘Abbaas (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: this means singing. Mujaahid (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: this means playing the drum (tabl). (Tafseer al-Tabari, 21/40). Al-Hasan al-Basri (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: this aayah was revealed concerning singing and musical instruments (lit. woodwind instruments). (Tafseer Ibn Katheer, 3/451).
Wah ini dari indonesia ya... Saya sangat berterimakasih, karena saya banyak mendapat pengajaran dari chanel ini.sekali lagi terimakasih....semoga allah membalasmu dengan balasan yg lebih baik
I don’t really listening music, but doesn’t mean i don’t like. But i tried to listening music that have good massage. Not big fans music that have good ritme and instrument but the lyrics had abusive, vulgar, or irreverent language
I was doing good not listening to music, but then I learned that you can't listen to the Quran while doing other things. I don't really enjoy listening to nasheeds, and I can't handle silence sometimes
I just love soft songs and some good rock song. They just let me find the beauty of my inner self. Let me to discover new ways to sing the suras so i can fill my heart with joy and love
Assalaam Alaikum. Thanks for this great representational video! I invite you all to listen to Shaykh Hamza Yusuf. Kindly visit for short clips / extracts from his lectures. May Allah place his true love in our hearts.
It's an old comment...but if you still haven't been able to get out of music Pray to Allah.... Replace nasheeds with music first. Learn to enjoy Qur'an There are a lot of wonderful recitations You may feel left out of the society but it's Allah whom you should please by the end of the day. May Allah make it easy for you
I am struggling .. I want to stop listening to music, sometime I succeeded but sometimes I just can't, it has become harder for me to not be an ARMY.. I can leave anyone but BTS ... I am hopeful that one day I will overcome it INSHALLAH.
Well u can be a Army without listening to they're music. They have more content than music. Just leave the music and enjoy the other thing like run bts bon voyage etc. But keep it in a limit. Don't get addicted.
Thankfully I'm not interested in any music , there's rare cases in wish I may like a song for its good meanings or a nichid, but not hearing it everyday every moment, I thank Allah for making me strong against it❤
I'm not a music lover, but when I saw everybody around me listening to music a thought comes to my mind "I want to a music lover" which TBH I am not, so basically I want to be look smart dude like. So but after the end of Ramadan Allah have me blessing and now I don't listen to music anymore which is haram.😇
Is all type of music is haram or their are type of music which are allowed because i expireneced that when i listen songs like "ya nabi salam aleka" or "kun faya kun" i feel more good and positive ...so please if any brother and sister can explain me this it will be really helpful 🌻 thank you.
If they deviate you from Allah and the divine path, the stay away but if you think it's bringing you close to Allah's Mercy and rememberence, then it should not be haraam
Assalamualaikum. I have a question. Could you give me examples of music that is permitted and forbidden in Islam? Thank you. Sorry for my bad English I'm Indonesian
Waalaikumsalam!!! Well instruments are completely forbidden in Islam (apart from the duff, but that’s only used on special occasions). Nasheeds, are debatable; some scholars say it’s okay to listen to nasheeds, others say it’s not. They have their own reasons to back it up. However, one thing is certain, the music of today’s society is completely haram and allah knows best. I hope this helped 🙃. Sorry if I wasn’t able to explain things properly 😓. There are some videos online abt this topic tho! 😃. Jazakhalla for reading!
@@aZaamBie135 instruments aretge real problem brother...there are nasheed, naats about Allah and his rasool which are permissable but without any instruments
In my case, i used to listen lofi/ beats mostly during study even until now because it can prevent me from being sleepy 😂 i listen to music that has lyrics but not too frequently because it can distract my mind. Im aware with that. That's okay right?
Ofc that is perfect and most likely halal. Ok example:youtube there is good stuff and bad stuff but does that mean that we shouldn't watch yt i dont think so i think its the same with music but it's all about balance. All my respect to you my sister
Those are very important message to all the Muslim in order to upgrade our faith and follow Allah order, im very please. However as an animator myself its really disturbing me to see the character without a NECK. This is not an attack to the hard job of the studios as well to Islam, this is just my opinion that a character without a NECK seem very unortodox to traditional animation. Please, draw a NECK for them. They are your creation, they deserve a complete body.
I'd suggest to listen to less songs. Or also asking Allah for help. One other suggestion is, if you like nature sounds (e.g a forest, the beach) then i'd suggest using this website: mynoise.net/
Music Is Haraam Ask all the scholars. Shiekh Al Bani, Shiekh Saleh Al Fozan Sheikh Uthaymeen.... Literally this video is a misguidance.... Giving ppl the wrong idea about music..... So now a person will spend more time listening to the voice of the shaytaan instead of the Qura'an.
